I've tried around 10 toner pads so far! But only 4 of them didn't cause any irritation, as my skin is very sensitive to pad materials and ingredients 🥲 So I was hoping this one would work well for me too, and just as expected, the product I received from the Hwahae trial was amazing..!!

Here are the 3 best things I liked about using it:


1. Cooling sensation

True to its name as a 'cooling pad', the cooling sensation is incredible.. At first, I was like "Huh? It's not that cool.." but after 30 seconds, it started getting cooler and cooler.. It feels like my cheeks are in the Antarctic! I'll definitely be using this a lot in the summer 🥹 The cooling helps reduce heat, tightens pores, and preps the skin well for the next skincare steps. It's a great morning pick-me-up!


2. Hydration (Moisture Recharge)

This is the most important aspect for me! Other than that, toner pads are often used as a makeshift face mask, right? So the pad's ability to hold enough essence and maintain moisture is crucial. This pad checks both boxes - the essence amount is generous as you can see in the photo, and the thick pad doesn't dry out easily, allowing for a long-lasting masking effect 🤍 Regardless of skin type, hydration is essential, so I'm really pleased with this.


3. Adherence (+Convenience)One thing I've realized from using various toner pads is that adherence is even more important than I thought! 👀 I've tried pads from a brand famous for sheet masks, but the lack of adherence made them awkward to use as a face mask or a toner. Pads that are too thick often don't adhere well, but this one really clings to my cheeks! I shook my head side to side and it stayed put 😇 However, if you move around too aggressively right after applying, it may still come off, so be careful..!!
