Its lightweight formula absorbs quickly and provides a cooling sensation to soothe heated skin. It also leaves a moisturized finish without feeling heavy or sticky.
ConsThe downside: The cooling effect can temporarily cause a stinging or irritating sensation on sensitive skin. The moisturizing power is not extremely strong, so for dry skin, additional moisturizers may be necessary.

It looked like an aloe gel, but it was surprising that it was a serum. I'm not sure about the scent. I tried it out as I thought it could be used to address dryness as the winter season approaches. There was no skin irritation when I applied it.
ConsAfter applying it, my face turned red after 2 hours. It seems to lack oily components. I didn't notice it at first, but over time, I felt a slight dryness. The skin texture was a bit sticky right after application, but it became dry over time. It feels like it's taking away the moisture from my skin as it dries. It doesn't seem suitable for moisturizing. Also, the emphasis on the Hyssop extract ingredient doesn't seem justified, as it's listed quite low on the ingredient list. You can just think of it as a niacinamide gel. However, I'm not sure how much niacinamide it contains, but the price feels a bit high. Overall, I probably won't buy and use this. I'd rather get an aloe vera gel instead. The fact that they're selling this as a serum when it's essentially a gel is deceptive.
TipIf you need a gel without moisturizer, it seems like a good option to use. I'd recommend it more in the summer than in the winter.

It's a serum that has both oil and moisture, and for my combination skin with overall severe dryness, I was able to use just this serum without a cream up until around summer or early fall. There's hardly any oil, and those with not-too-dry skin might be able to use just this alone. The product is named a serum, but the texture is more like a gel cream, so the moisturizing power was better. Personally, I really liked how my skin condition improved the next day when I applied this before bed, followed by a light soothing cream. I recommend this to those with dry, flaky skin. The application is also good. Some thin serums just get absorbed right away when applied, but this one spreads like a gel cream, so a small amount can cover the whole face. About the size of a kidney bean is enough to apply a nice, thick layer on the whole face. The texture is close to a gel, so it doesn't spread as watery as typical hydrating serums, but it spreads well and provides good moisture, so you don't need to apply a lot. As for brightening, I'm not sure if it can really fade spots like freckles in just 2 weeks. But it does seem to help reduce the reddish discoloration left from breakouts around my chin during my period.
Cons- There's nothing particularly bad about this for my skin type, but those with oily skin might find it a bit heavy. I think this product is optimized for very dry skin.
