Pros: The Arensia Cool Tone Serum Holy Hyssop Serum contains hyssop extract and soothing ingredients that quickly calm redness and irritated skin. Its lightweight formula absorbs rapidly, and the cooling effect refreshingly soothes skin with heat sensitivity. Moreover, it leaves a moisturized finish, allowing for a non-drying and fresh application. Cons: The cooling effect may cause temporary tingling or irritation for those with super sensitive skin. The hydration power isn't extremely strong, so those with dry skin might need an additional moisturizer. - lj***Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 7, 2024
I got tired of using the same old products, so I decided to give this a try. Something told me it wouldn't cause any blemishes. I'm extremely satisfied! It's a hydrating product with a slightly rich texture. It absorbs so well that I find myself using quite a bit. The only downside is the price. Of course, since it can leave your skin feeling a bit dry after application, you'll need to follow up with a moisturizing product to seal it in. - hy******Oily SkinAcne SkinNov 18, 2024
It's a thick blue gel-type serum that applies smoothly over emulsions. Interestingly, it looks like aloe gel but is marketed as a serum. I couldn't really detect any fragrance. I tried it hoping it might help with dryness as winter approaches. The good news is that it didn't cause any skin irritation upon application. About two hours after application, my face turned red. It seems to lack any oil-based ingredients. While I didn't notice immediately, after some time I felt a slight deep dryness. The texture was a bit sticky right after applying, but it changed to a dry feel over time. It gives the impression of drawing moisture out of the skin as it dries. I don't think it's suitable for hydration. Moreover, despite emphasizing hyssop extract as a key ingredient, it's listed quite far down on the ingredients list, which seems misleading. You might as well think of it as just a gel containing niacinamide. However, while I'm not sure about the niacinamide concentration, the price feels quite steep. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase this again. I'd rather buy aloe gel. Calling this formulation a serum instead of a gel feels somewhat deceptive. If you need a gel without moisturizing agents, this might be suitable. I'd recommend it more for summer than winter. - on******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedOct 15, 2024
- A savior for dry skin... The hydration and nourishment are truly excellent. It's a serum with both rich and moisturizing qualities. For my combination skin with severe deep dryness overall, this alone was enough to solve hydration issues up until late summer or early fall without needing a cream. For those with less oily and not very dry skin, this might be all you need. Although it's called a serum, the texture is more like a gel cream rather than being thin like other serums, which I think contributes to its better moisturizing effect. Personally, I loved how my skin condition improved the next day when I applied this before bed on dry skin days, followed by a thin layer of a soothing moisturizer. Highly recommended for those with parched, dehydrated skin. - It absorbs well too. Some serums are so thin they sink in immediately, but this one applies like a real gel cream, allowing you to cover your whole face with just a small amount. About the size of a kidney bean is enough to generously coat your entire face. Due to its gel-like consistency, it doesn't spread as thinly as typical hydrating serums, but it's easy to apply evenly and provides great hydration, so you don't need to use much. - As for brightening, it's hard to tell about fading freckles and blemishes without long-term use. I can't say for sure if they'll lighten in just two weeks, but it seems to help fade the redness left behind by hormonal acne on my chin quite well! - There aren't really any downsides for my skin type, but those with oily skin might find it heavy. I think this product is truly optimized for very dry skin. - nr********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRednessRecommendedSep 7, 2024
I absolutely loved that there was no greasiness. It absorbs into the skin seamlessly without any pilling, helps with blemishes, and seems to have brightened my complexion. It's interesting that this serum comes in a jar instead of a bottle, which is unusual. However, considering hygiene, it might be best to use it up quickly. - do******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 17, 2024
The gel texture absorbs well and feels great on the skin, making it perfect for summer use. There's no stickiness, leaving a clean finish. It's really ideal for these hot days we're having. Those with dry skin might find it a bit lacking in moisture. - sk*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 10, 2024
For nighttime skincare, applying just this one product gives you flawless, well-nourished skin the next morning. Your skin texture becomes incredibly smooth, and you won't find any dead skin cells. It's absolutely fantastic. I'm 200% certain I'll repurchase this. The formula doesn't instantly absorb upon application. However, it does fully sink in over time, and the results are so effective that I'll definitely use it again. It's convenient for nighttime care - just apply a hydrating ampoule, then this product, and you're done. - se********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 4, 2024
I tried this for the first time and my skin improved immediately after absorption! My complexion looks clearer, my skin texture has improved, and it even calmed my skin. I can see why it's so popular! I'm 200% sure I'll repurchase. There's nothing bad to say! I really recommend it. I have dry skin and it worked great for me. I think this would suit all skin types. The texture isn't too thin, it's nicely bouncy. It absorbs really well! - fp******Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 21, 2024
I used this without thinking much, and after 2-3 days, I suddenly got so many compliments on my skin! Even from foreign customers! People who don't like heavy products will love this. With consistent use, your complexion seems to become clearer and brighter. It's really great! There's not much to dislike, but if I had to say something, it might be the texture...? It's fine when you apply one layer, but if you try two layers, it can feel a bit sticky or thick. Still, it absorbs quickly! If you don't like that tacky feeling, you'll enjoy this. When I traveled and got a sunburn, I focused on brightening. It works even better if you use it after other brightening serums! Applying it after a peel-off mask is especially effective! But don't buy it... (it'll just sell out again...) - db******Dry SkinRecommendedJul 6, 2024
I received this as a gift and after just a few days, my skin became incredibly plump and bouncy! While it's quite hydrating and has a slight stickiness, it absorbs well into the skin. The best part? My makeup applies beautifully over it! The only downside is a bit of stickiness right after application. But don't worry, it absorbs well, so after a little while, it feels just fine! Let it absorb fully before applying makeup, and you'll be rewarded with a gorgeous glow that'll make you shine
