I'm not a fan of jar packaging, but I guess it's unavoidable with a balm formula. They provide a spatula, but it's a bit disappointing that it's hard to store it properly on the plastic lid. Also, it's a bit tricky to control the amount you use, so I tend to use more than necessary. Other than that, everything else is fine!

First off, the cleansing effectiveness is amazing. I used to use a separate eye makeup remover, but this dissolves even mascara, so now I complete my first cleanse with just this product. I bought it because it's supposed to clean pores, and when I use it, I can feel the sebum dissolving and coming out in little grains! After using it, I can see that some blackheads have actually dissolved. I switched to this cleansing balm from cleansing gel because oils gave me blemishes, and it's so much more convenient that I think I'll stick with it!

While it usually works great, when my skin isn't in the best condition, it can feel a bit drying and cause some dead skin cells to appear.

Secondly, unlike cleansing oils that can leave a lingering, oily feeling even after rinsing, this product leaves my skin feeling thoroughly cleansed and fresh. For reference, I have combination dehydrated skin and super sensitive skin that can react badly to the wrong cleansing products, but I've had no issues with this one. It works hard for my skin!

As many of you may already know, a little goes a long way with this product. You don't need to use a large amount for effective cleansing and massage. After massaging it in, try emulsifying with a bit of lukewarm water on your hands for an even more thorough and clean cleansing experience.

I'm extremely satisfied and will definitely continue using this cleansing balm.
