I snagged it during a collaboration sale, and I'm pleased with the ingredients too. It's so hydrating that it doesn't leave any dry patches or flakiness. The staying power could be better, I must say. When I sweat in the summer, it tends to break down quickly and leave a white cast. While it's easy to touch up, frequent reapplication seems to make my skin look overly shiny and greasy. The cushion compact also tends to attract dust easily. I've been using the refill puff that came with it, but I'm not entirely sold on its quality. I'm considering picking up a new puff from the dollar store once this one wears out. There's another cushion refill included, but the amount of product seems quite small. Even with the sale price, it feels a bit expensive when you consider how little product you actually get. The product offers good complexion-evening and sun protection benefits, with a hydrating formula that prevents flaking. However, it lacks longevity, especially in warm weather, and can look greasy with repeated application. Applying this sunscreen was a breeze. Unlike others that leave my hands feeling greasy, I could pat this one on without even touching it directly. So convenient! It's moisturizing and effectively neutralizes yellow undertones. Even when applied generously, it doesn't leave a white cast, which is great. I have oily skin, and it didn't cause any pilling or issues. It's hydrating, so I'd recommend it for dry skin too. However, I wouldn't suggest it for extremely dry skin. The built-in puff absorbs a lot of the sunscreen, so you need to apply it quite generously. That's why I'm a bit hesitant to recommend it... The puff is divided into two parts. This sun cushion is a game-changer! I was initially unsure which one to buy, but after seeing it on my feed, I immediately purchased it from Olive Young. It exceeded my expectations. Unlike some sun cushions that leave a white cast, this one blends seamlessly into my skin. The puff applicator is also great. It strikes the perfect balance between being too oily and too matte - just right in the middle! First off, there's no eye irritation, and you can feel a nice cooling effect. No tingling sensation either. Overall, it's a product I'm really satisfied with. The cooling and soothing effects really helped improve my blemishes compared to when I used regular foundation! While the coverage isn't super high, it does manage to even out redness to some extent. For a sun cushion, I'd say it's pretty decent. The brightening effect would look natural on those with skin tones 21 or lighter, but even if you're not super pale, it should look fine if you blend it down to your neck a bit. Given that it worked well for me despite my extremely sensitive skin, I think the ingredients must be pretty good. It was great that it came with 3 extra puffs as part of a special offer! It's nice not having to wash the puff so often, as I can just switch them out. My friends thought the mint chocolate design was cute too! Due to the mineral sunscreen ingredients, it might be unavoidable, but there's a slight oily feeling right after application. However, it gets better after powdering or as time passes. It's not super hydrating, so if you have dry to combination skin like me, be careful using it in winter or you might end up with super dry skin. If you do want to use it in winter, I recommend pairing it with a very moisturizing product. Also, like most sun cushions, it contains a bit less product than regular cushions, so keep that in mind. The brightening effect is surprisingly good, and it's easy to apply since it's a sun cushion. The staying power seems too short. I bought it hoping it would cover redness, but it doesn't do that well. Even though I have fair skin, the brightening effect is too strong. Also, maybe because it's winter, there's no cooling effect. The amount seems a bit small too.
