Texture: It has a jelly-like consistency with a noticeable hydration feel, resulting in a cream that absorbs smoothly. While I expected it to be as light as a water gel, it actually has a suitable richness that requires a bit of massaging to absorb, which helps maintain a lasting moisturized feeling. Usage experience: The cooling sensation upon application makes it perfect for summer use. Although I haven't used it long enough to notice any pore-minimizing effects, it leaves my skin feeling hydrated on the inside and coated on the outside, which seems to refine my skin texture and provide a slight firming effect. It also creates a non-pilling finish that works well under makeup. Packaging: I appreciate that the spatula is stored on top of the inner lid, ensuring it won't get lost and can be kept clean. Overall impression: This cream is ideal for summer use. Personally, I've been struggling with blemishes lately, but the balanced oil and moisture content, along with the cooling effect, has significantly alleviated my skin issues. Although I received this as part of The Hwahae Testers program, I'm inclined to purchase it myself once I finish this one. While this cream is great for summer use, those with dry skin might find it lacks sufficient hydration during drier seasons like winter. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 4, 2024
For dry skin types: When first opened, it appears as a slightly opaque blue gel texture. It has a cooling effect when applied, which could be great for heated skin in summer. Despite being a gel, it doesn't skimp on hydration. Rather than drying as it absorbs, it feels like it's really filling the skin with moisture! The scent isn't particularly notable, which is nice as it's not bothersome. The absorption is also good, so I was quite satisfied. Those with dry skin might find this perfect for summer use, while those with oily skin could potentially use this year-round. The first day I used it, everything seemed fine. However, from the second or third day, I started noticing blemishes popping up all over my face. I don't usually get acne, but after I stopped using this and switched back to my regular product, things cleared up in about two days. That aspect was a bit disappointing for me. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAug 4, 2024
The gel texture applies smoothly, but the hydration is truly outstanding! Even when applied in the evening, the moisture lasts until morning!! It also helps control sebum on the nose, and when focused on problem areas, it even has the effect of reducing pores! After consistent use, I've noticed my pores look cleaner, which makes my makeup apply better too~!! What could be disappointing... It seems like it wouldn't be drying even in winter... And if it is, you could just apply another layer... I'm only writing this because I have to fill in something! In the morning, I apply it lightly with a quick swipe. It's neither sticky nor does it pill, so it's perfect for morning use!! In the evening, I apply it more thickly like a mask (layering it several times). It's not heavy and absorbs quickly, allowing for plump skin until morning. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinAug 2, 2024
The gel cream is perfect for summer use. It has just the right amount of richness and provides great hydration. When applied at room temperature, there wasn't a cooling effect, but when I kept it in the fridge, it felt wonderfully refreshing. After application, my face felt firmer, and the cream absorbed naturally without feeling too rich. The absorbs well was excellent, and my skin felt comfortable after it sank in. I can't comment on pore reduction as I haven't used it long enough to see noticeable results. I didn't experience any blemishes after using it. I'd recommend this for combination dehydrated skin and normal skin types. It might be slightly less hydrating for very dry or oily skin. Overall, it's a very decent and really good cream, but I didn't feel like my skin condition improved dramatically, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. It's a shame it comes in a jar! Creams are better in tubes or airless pumps. I've transferred it to an airless pump container from the dollar store. It's easy to store in the fridge and convenient to use. This cream seems well-suited for summer. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAug 2, 2024
Scent: There's a very subtle floral fragrance, so faint you could almost say it's unscented. Texture: It has a gel-like consistency. I keep it in the fridge, which makes it refreshingly cool to apply. Application: The gel texture spreads smoothly without any irritation. Hydration: It provides just the right amount of moisture for summer. Might not be enough for transitional seasons or winter though. Feel on skin: For some reason, even after it's fully absorbed, it feels a bit sticky? Hmm... I ended up patting it in, then lightly dabbing with a tissue. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAug 2, 2024
While Benetus may be an unfamiliar brand, knowing it's manufactured by Kolmar Korea definitely boosts its credibility! Maintaining a strong skin barrier fundamentally requires good control of oil and moisture balance. This is crucial not only in winter but also in summer when increased sebum production due to oiliness can make proper skincare challenging. The Acniom Derma Moisture Cream, with its unique gel-cream texture, offers excellent absorption without pilling. After application, you can feel a slight tightening of the pores. This product helps with both pore cleansing and dead skin cell management. The jar packaging that requires scooping out the product does involve more steps, which can be a bit inconvenient. While you can feel a cooling effect even when applied at room temperature, storing it in the refrigerator significantly enhances its skin-soothing properties. It's great for light daily use, especially in the morning or before makeup, rather than as part of a night care routine. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 2, 2024
With the hot weather lately, enlarged pores have been my main skin concern. This cream has become my go-to not just for pore care but also for hydration. The formula is a light, blue-tinted cream that looks incredibly moisturizing at first glance. Despite being a pore cream, it's not thick or heavy, which makes it perfect for this hot weather. It applies smoothly and feels just right in terms of moisture. You might think it lacks hydration, but it actually provides enough to keep your skin feeling supple and firm all day long. As it's a pore-tightening cream, my skin feels smoother after use, and it even improves skin texture naturally. For areas where I'm concerned about pores, I apply it two or three times. Even with multiple applications, it doesn't pill and absorbs quickly, so I don't mind layering it. Plus, it's been tested and approved for acne-prone skin, so I didn't experience any blemishes while using it. I think it would suit all skin types well. I was really pleased that I didn't experience any blemishes while using this product. If you store it in the refrigerator before use, it seems to make your pores even tighter. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinAug 2, 2024
Opening the lid, my first impression was that the creators have a great sense of design! Unlike most cosmetics where the spatula is either missing or just tossed in the box, this one sits beautifully on top of the cream, so you're unlikely to lose it. The cream has a cool, sky-blue color. There's a slight fragrance, but it's not overpowering, which is nice. It's a gel-type formula perfect for summer use - lightweight and refreshing, not heavy at all. It's packed with hydration, absorbs well, and has a great texture. As someone with super sensitive dry skin, I haven't experienced any blemishes so far. However, since my skin is extremely dry, using this product alone feels fine at first, but over time it can feel a bit lacking in moisture. So I've been layering it with other serums or creams for extra hydration. The hydration might be a bit insufficient for those with dry skin or during dry weather conditions. You may need to layer it with other products in those cases. I've been keeping it in the fridge during summer, and applying it cool not only reduces facial heat but also seems to have a soothing effect! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 2, 2024
At first, looking at the cream's color and texture, I thought it would absorb quickly and feel light like a hydrating moisturizer (reminiscent of Beyond Aqua Cream). However, when I actually applied it, it felt slightly rich and had great moisturizing power. The absorption is really nice, it glides on smoothly and pleasantly (similar to the dense texture of Belif Age Knockdown Bomb). If you apply it in small amounts, it absorbs well, and the next day your face has a beautiful glow! It felt a bit heavy for use during hot summer days. You'll need to be careful with the amount you apply. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 2, 2024
The packaging gives a clean first impression. When you twist open the outer lid, there's an inner cream cover with a spatula on top. It's great that you can store the spatula with the product. The cream applies smoothly and feels moisturizing. Immediately after application, you get an instant Inner Glow effect. The duration of this glow depends on how you apply it. If you pat it in for absorption, the glow effect diminishes quickly. However, if you spread it with a rolling motion, the glow lasts longer, making your skin look great. There's a slight stickiness, but not to an unpleasant degree, and even this mostly disappears after absorption. As someone with super sensitive skin, I usually feel irritation around my nose and lips if a product doesn't suit me, but I didn't experience any of that with this product. Despite containing BHA, PHA, and LHA, which I worried might be irritating, it felt comfortable on my skin even with continued use, causing no blemishes. While the scent isn't strong and is quite tolerable, I prefer fragrance-free products. I would have preferred a tube type over this jar packaging. There's a protruding part on the inner lid to secure the spatula, but it's not very effective. When first using the product, the area around the inner lid can get messy with cream. Here's a well-known tip everyone swears by: store it in the refrigerator to enhance its cooling effect.
