ConsMy sensitive skin requires just one pump of lotion, but even using it this way, hives appear on my skin after two days, so I'm unsure how I should apply it.

ConsI'm not sure if it's the retinol, but when I use this alone, pimples and tiny bumps pop up all over. It's such a waste of money for an ampoule.

My skin is thin and super sensitive, and as I've gotten older, I've become more concerned about my enlarged pores. After consistent use, I noticed my pores have significantly reduced and my complexion has brightened. On days I didn't use this, I didn't apply any other skincare products, just did my basic mask routine. Recently, people have been saying my skin looks better. If you have dry skin, I think it would be good to apply a moisturizer as well.
ConsThe hydration could be a bit better, and it might feel slightly sticky. Since it's a retinol product, it's essential to use sunscreen in the morning. (Update after further use) When I used this during my pre-menstrual phase, when my blemishes were at their worst and my skin was super sensitive, I experienced some redness and a tingling sensation on my cheeks.

ConsEven with my steel-like skin... After using this, my face felt like it was on fire and turned red as if I had a burn. Today, the skin around my mouth started peeling off. I'm planning to visit a dermatologist as soon as possible during the week. Is retinol always this irritating? My eyelids are even redder, but I'm too embarrassed to show my face...

Even a small amount provides great hydration!
ConsIt causes small blemishes. I thought, 'Could it be because of this?' It seems the product might be a bit too rich for my skin. Although I have dry skin, for some reason this product caused small blemishes, so I stopped using it after about two weeks.

My skin feels incredibly soft and supple now.
ConsI think it might be due to some ingredients that aren't suitable for oily skin, but I developed blemishes. When I used an oil blotting sheet two hours after application, it stuck to my face and wouldn't come off - that's how sticky it is.

I think this product would be even better in winter.
ConsI had high expectations because I loved the original Innisfree Retinol Cica, but this one feels too rich and sticky... I thought it would be the Retinol Cica Ampoule with just added green tea ingredients, but compared to the lightweight Retinol Cica Ampoule, this feels heavy and sits on the skin. I used to mix the previous one with emulsion, but this feels uncomfortable even when applied at night. And why am I getting blemishes...? Small, blister-like blemishes are popping up.
TipI'd like to try it again in winter! I think it might work well then, but right now it's too humid and hot for me to reach for it.

My T-zone is extremely oily while my U-zone is almost always dry. Because of this, I'm very prone to blemishes if I apply products incorrectly. Lately, perhaps due to aging, my skin isn't what it used to be. I've been experiencing frequent breakouts and developing dark spots I never had before. I was considering visiting a dermatologist when I heard about this ampoule containing retinol, great for brightening, and PDRN, effective for skin regeneration. I immediately applied to be part of The Hwahae Testers. The famous Rejuran injections from dermatology clinics are also composed of PDRN extracted from salmon, so a retinol ampoule with this ingredient? Even though I still had some of my previous retinol-cica ampoule left, I had high hopes because of these ingredients. The texture is definitely more concentrated than my previous Innisfree cica ampoule. I thought it would be a light, booster-type product, but it's surprisingly thick. In the photo, the lighter one is my existing retinol ampoule, and the darker one below is this new PDRN retinol ampoule. From my perspective, it doesn't absorb quickly or feel particularly fresh. It felt heavier than expected when applying, and rather than absorbing immediately, it stayed slightly sticky before fully sinking in. I hadn't used retinol for a while, so I applied it for three consecutive days, which might be why I experienced some breakouts and had to pause usage. While I did have some blemishes, other areas of my skin seemed a bit firmer... though I'm not sure if that's just my imagination. I'll need to use it more to know for sure. Once my skin calms down, I'll start applying it gradually to build up tolerance and use it consistently.
ConsSince I hadn't used retinol recently, applying it for about three days in a row caused some blemishes to appear. As mentioned in the instructions, if you're new to retinol, it's best to start by using it 2-3 times a week to allow your skin to adapt.
TipI haven't been using it for long, and I've temporarily stopped due to breakouts, so I don't have any specific tips to share yet.

ConsWhile it leaves an oily finish, my skin still feels deeply dry. There's also a slight itching sensation right after application. Having super sensitive skin, my face stays red for quite a while. Applying a hydrating soothing cream helps a bit. It's too early to tell, but while my skin texture seems slightly improved, some of my smaller blemishes have gotten bigger. I'll need to use it longer to know for sure.
TipDon't forget to apply sunscreen diligently in the morning! I realized the importance of sunscreen a bit late, and I feel like my skin has gotten more tanned recently.

It visibly reduced my frown lines, so I've been maintaining my routine by mixing Dermafactory's Retinal 300ppm cream with a moisturizer. I use it twice a week, skipping retinol on AHA peeling days. Innisfree's retinol has 1000IU and has a yellowish tint with that distinctive earthy scent from fermented ingredients. The texture is a sticky serum type, and two pumps provide ample coverage for the face. It might feel a bit heavy for summer use, but it's perfect for my atopic, extremely dry skin. After applying it at night, I wake up the next morning to noticeably smoother skin with a beautiful glow. If your skin responds well to fermented ingredients and you have dry skin, you'll likely be satisfied with this product.
ConsUnfortunately, the fermented ingredients didn't agree with my skin. After just two uses, I developed small bumps and blemishes. It's worth noting that I never had any issues when using the Dermafactory Retinal cream or the Laneige Retinol cream.
TipFor sensitive skin, the Dermafactory Retinal cream seems to be gentler and more stable. The Laneige cream, being in a cream form, is convenient for targeted treatments. The Innisfree product appears to be a total care formula with added nourishment. Choose wisely based on your skin type and specific needs.
