Despite being a potent formula, it caused virtually no irritation and felt comfortable to apply. The true magic happens overnight...! I was amazed to wake up to such soft, supple skin. In the saturated K-beauty market full of great products, this one's continued popularity since launch speaks volumes. I first tried a free sample when it was released, and now it's my second staple product.
Cons1. For someone with extreme deep dryness like me, using this ampoule alone wasn't quite enough to combat dehydration + left a slightly oily film on the surface. 2. While it's reasonably priced compared to many expensive skincare products these days, the cost still makes me hesitate about 10% each time I repurchase...
TipLayer hydrating toners generously before applying, or use in combination with a light hydrating ampoule. I like to apply it after the Leegeehaam Shot ampoule and follow up with a cream or gel mask pack.

Unlike the Retinol Cica which had a strong scent, this product is almost fragrance-free (on the left in the photo). It's thinner when squeezed out, but the texture feels a bit sticky. However, it absorbs much faster and feels lighter on the skin!
ConsIt seems important to control the amount you use. The original Retinol Cica had a slightly slippery feel that seemed to sit on top of the skin, but after leaving it to absorb for a long time, it would finish with a soft, powdery feel. This product, however, has more of a coating sensation. When I applied it generously before bed, I woke up with small blemishes the next day!
TipI think it works best when mixed with a bit of toner before applying!

(Less oily than other brands' retinol products, so even first-time retinol users shouldn't find it off-putting) Scent: No noticeable cosmetic smell when applied to the face Review: I have combination dehydrated skin, and even after applying it at night, there isn't much excess oil in the morning. I've noticed a slight reduction in the pores around my nose area.
ConsIt doesn't absorb immediately and feels like it sits on the skin a bit. Other than that, no drawbacks.

However, this product applies smoothly without causing any irritation.
ConsThe only downside is that it doesn't seem to absorb completely, perhaps due to the warm weather. Rather than being fully absorbed, it feels like it sits slightly on top of the skin. Nevertheless, I still recommend it for its gentle application and lack of irritation.

I think this product would be even better in winter.
ConsI had high expectations because I loved the original Innisfree Retinol Cica, but this one feels too rich and sticky... I thought it would be the Retinol Cica Ampoule with just added green tea ingredients, but compared to the lightweight Retinol Cica Ampoule, this feels heavy and sits on the skin. I used to mix the previous one with emulsion, but this feels uncomfortable even when applied at night. And why am I getting blemishes...? Small, blister-like blemishes are popping up.
TipI'd like to try it again in winter! I think it might work well then, but right now it's too humid and hot for me to reach for it.
