Being a serum, I thought it might not be as moisturizing, but that's absolutely not the case! It's surprisingly hydrating and finishes with a fresh feel without any stickiness! The texture is quite fluid, making it easy to apply lightly. What's more, it uses a patented technology that breaks down particles into tiny capsules for effective delivery to the skin, and it's even received the highest grade in German dermatological testing. Skin Type & Condition: Normal, with visible but not severe pores. Texture: Serum-type that doesn't leave a sticky residue after massaging it in. It's quite hydrating, so you don't need to apply anything else afterwards, which is great. Function: Similar to the trendy 'needle shot' products currently popular. Compared to other products, it definitely seems to have more 'needles' as there's a more noticeable tingling sensation when applying. Personally, I have a high pain tolerance, so the tingling was bearable, but it's definitely more intense than other products. Even the next morning when washing my face, I could feel a tingling sensation whenever I touched my skin. I've never experienced this with other products, which makes me think it has a higher concentration of active ingredients. Effects: I felt like my pores might have reduced, but not dramatically noticeable in just one day as advertised. If that were the case, dermatologists would be out of business! Perhaps if I had done precise measurements like in the ads, I might have noticed more of an effect, but to the naked eye, there wasn't a big difference. As someone with enlarged pores, I was really eager to try this and I'm completely satisfied with the formula! It has a bouncy essence-serum texture that's not sticky at all and absorbs well into the skin. For summer, this level of absorption is fantastic. There's a slight tingling sensation, but it's milder than expected and causes almost no irritation after absorption. Even first-time users should find it very comfortable. In summer, when sweat makes it feel like skincare products aren't absorbing, applying this Mediheal ampoule first helps subsequent products absorb better! While I'll need to finish the whole bottle to be sure, my pores that used to look stretched out now seem more tightened. There's a subtle but noticeable firmness to my skin.
