Previously, when buying hair products, I used thick, rich hair oils designed for extremely damaged hair or damage prevention. After shampooing and towel-drying, I would apply the hair oil to the ends of my damp hair, then blow-dry thoroughly. Once dry, I'd apply another light layer of oil (avoiding the scalp). I used this new hair oil in the same way as my previous routine, applying it every evening after washing my hair for a week. This hair oil has a completely different texture from what I'm used to - it's thin and lightweight. This made it comfortable to use without worrying about my hair feeling greasy or weighed down.
ConsGiven that I have damaged and curly hair, this lighter oil required more product than my previous one to achieve the desired nourishment and tame frizziness. Personally, I didn't care for the scent of this hair oil. (It had notes of shea butter, chocolate, and wood.) Fortunately, the fragrance doesn't linger long, but it might be a hit-or-miss for some people.
TipAs this is a lightweight, water-like hair oil, it's great for applying as a finishing touch after styling your hair.

Some oil-based products can feel heavy in summer, but this one strikes the perfect balance - it's pleasantly light and fluid for an oil, making you want to reach for it often. While it's not ultra-moisturizing due to its lightness, it's perfect for daily use. I didn't notice a significant shine boost when applied right after washing my hair, but it definitely tamed my locks nicely. It works wonders for detangling too! The scent surprised me - I expected floral notes, but it's more of a coconut or vanilla fragrance. Thankfully, it's subtle and not overpowering, which is a big plus. Sometimes strong, long-lasting scents can be divisive, but that's not an issue here. I've been on the hunt for a lightweight alternative to heavy oils or balm-type hair essences for summer, as they can leave your hands feeling sticky. This product is perfect! It's ideal for daily use in the warmer months (speaking as someone with dry hair). While it doesn't define curls as firmly as a curl cream would, it's great if you're looking for a natural-looking hair oil.
ConsThe scent, while quick to dissipate, is slightly on the heavier side. If you're not a fan of coconut-like fragrances, you might want to think twice before purchasing.
