Previously, when buying hair products, I used thick, rich hair oils designed for extremely damaged hair or damage prevention. After shampooing and towel-drying, I would apply the hair oil to the ends of my damp hair, then blow-dry thoroughly. Once dry, I'd apply another light layer of oil (avoiding the scalp). I used this new hair oil in the same way as my previous routine, applying it every evening after washing my hair for a week. This hair oil has a completely different texture from what I'm used to - it's thin and lightweight. This made it comfortable to use without worrying about my hair feeling greasy or weighed down.
ConsGiven that I have damaged and curly hair, this lighter oil required more product than my previous one to achieve the desired nourishment and tame frizziness. Personally, I didn't care for the scent of this hair oil. (It had notes of shea butter, chocolate, and wood.) Fortunately, the fragrance doesn't linger long, but it might be a hit-or-miss for some people.
TipAs this is a lightweight, water-like hair oil, it's great for applying as a finishing touch after styling your hair.

Here's my review. I was lucky enough to win and try this product. First off, the texture of this product is really light, unlike other hair oils I've used before. It's as light as a facial oil. When applied to the hair, it absorbs quickly, and best of all, it doesn't leave any sticky residue on your hands, which I really appreciate. As for the scent, it might vary for others, but for me, it had three distinct phases: when I first dispensed it, it smelled like coconut. Then, as I applied it to my hair, a strong vanilla scent emerged. After application, a subtle woody fragrance lingered on my hands. It's quite fascinating! And it definitely makes the hair softer! I'm very satisfied with this product because it's lightweight, doesn't leave residue, absorbs well, and nourishes the hair.
ConsThere's just one thing! Usually, with the oils I've used before, the scent lingers in my hair after application. But with this one, it doesn't. This is just my personal opinion, but I couldn't smell the coconut, vanilla, or woody notes in my hair that I initially noticed. I found this a bit disappointing.
