Due to frequent dyeing and bleaching, my hair is quite damaged. When purchasing hair products in the past, I have used rich, creamy hair oils that are formulated for severely damaged or protective hair. After shampooing, I would towel dry my hair once and, while it was still damp, apply the hair oil from the ends to the full length of my hair. Then I would blow-dry my entire head of hair, and afterwards, lightly apply the hair oil again (avoiding the scalp). I used the hair oil the same way I had been using my previous products, applying it in the evenings after shampooing once a week. The hair oil has a much lighter, more fluid texture compared to the products I had been using before, so I was able to use it comfortably without any heavy, greasy feeling in my hair.
ConsSince I have damaged, wavy hair, I needed to use more of this oil than my previous products in order to get the desired level of nourishment and to control the frizziness. Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the scent of this hair oil (a blend of shea butter, chocolate, and woody notes). While the fragrance doesn't linger for too long, it's a scent that may be hit-or-miss for some.
TipAs this is a lightweight, water-like hair oil, it works well for applying as a finishing touch to styled hair

This is a review. I was lucky enough to be selected to try this product, and first of all, the texture of this product is really lightweight, unlike the hair oils from other brands I've used before. The texture is as lightweight as a facial oil itself. And when applied to the hair, it absorbs lightly and, most importantly, doesn't leave a sticky residue on the hands, which I really liked. The fragrance has three stages - when I first pumped it onto my hands, I could smell a coconut scent. Then, as I applied it to my hair, a strong vanilla fragrance emerged. And after fully applying it, a subtle woody scent was left on my hands. It's quite fascinating. And my hair definitely feels softer! It's lightweight, doesn't leave a residue, absorbs well, and nourishes the hair, so I'm very satisfied with using it.
ConsThere's just one thing! The oils I've been using so far usually leave the scent of the oil on my hair after application. But this one doesn't have that. In my personal opinion, the coconut scent I initially noticed, the vanilla scent that came up while applying, and the woody final note didn't linger on my hair. That was a bit disappointing for me.
