The adherence wasn't bad, and the coverage was decent as well. It applies more smoothly than expected. The finish feels pleasantly matte. I usually prefer glowy and lightweight formulas, but I chose this matte product since those tend to have better coverage and staying power. Among matte products, this one feels quite thick. When squeezed out, it holds its shape. Because of this, it felt like it was applying quite heavily. I bought it because it was supposed to be warm-toned, but it had more of a pink undertone than I expected, which I didn't like. After trying it once, I really disliked it, so I passed it on to my sister since I probably won't use it again. I wouldn't recommend applying it with a brush. It seems to leave a lot of brush marks. - jq********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 29, 2025
The texture is slightly firm, which gives it better coverage compared to more fluid foundations when applied! If you take good care of your skin, it adheres well without much pilling, which I really liked. For me, there was hardly any darkening, which was great! Since it has a firmer texture, you need to be careful to apply it in thin, multiple layers with extra attention. Otherwise, it can go on quite thick! Also, if you don't set it with powder or a fixer, it can easily rub off with your fingers. The staying power is a bit disappointing. If you keep working the puff into your skin as if you're trying to fill every pore, you'll end up with a flawless, egg-shell smooth complexion! - ar*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresMay 28, 2025
I used the brush that came as a gratis gift with the product. As soon as I applied it, it lived up to its name, creating a porcelain-like smooth skin appearance. At least immediately after application... The staying power was really disappointing. I'm not sure if it's because I have oily skin, but I felt it wore off faster than other foundations I've tried. What's worse, not only did it break down with oil, but it also washed away like watercolor paint when it came into contact with water. I couldn't find any tips to make this foundation work better for me. It might be suitable if you're just looking to do your makeup for a quick photo and then remove it right after. - so******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 29, 2025
Shade 22 is perfect for giving my skin a radiant look! It was a bit dry for winter use, but great for summer. The coverage was decent, and it did a nice job of concealing pores. Best of all, I didn't experience any blemishes after using it! There weren't any major downsides to speak of. However, I'm not sure if I'd repurchase it. It's a bit of a toss-up... I found myself not reaching for it much outside of peak summer months. - li*******Normal SkinRecommendedFeb 10, 2025
It's so hydrating and seems to have the best staying power. Even after 14 hours, I look in the mirror and it's exactly the same! The coverage doesn't seem particularly impressive... It's just a decent, run-of-the-mill product. - u1****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 2, 2025
I tried the cushion first and liked it so much that I bought the foundation too. It's probably the best among drugstore foundations. The color looks natural, and it's a semi-matte formula that applies thinly. I think anyone could achieve at least a medium coverage with this. Plus, the cushion and foundation colors match perfectly, making touch-ups a breeze. It's semi-matte rather than semi-glow, which might feel a bit drying for winter use. Opinions on this product may vary depending on your skin type. They sell smaller sizes too, so if you're hesitant, I'd recommend trying those first. If you're unsure about the shade, you could buy two smaller ones for the price of a large one and mix them to get your perfect match. - ys*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 23, 2025
Recommended skin types > I'm shade 21 and it was just right! It slightly brightens the skin tone. Since it's a semi-matte type, those with very dry skin might need to really focus on their skincare base! While the product itself is semi-matte, it still has a bit of a glow, so I think it could work for all skin types if you prep your skin well! Coverage > Even though I have a lot of redness on my face, it covered it pretty well! If you want perfect blemish coverage, you'll need to use a concealer. Longevity > As a student, I don't touch up my makeup at all, but this lasted a long time! It was good from 7 AM to 6 PM! In terms of darkening, I'd give it an 8 out of 10. It wasn't completely absent, but it wasn't severe either. > I mentioned that the longevity was good for about 11 hours, but after that, the pilling became very noticeable. After 11 hours, it's understandable, but the way it breaks down isn't pretty, which was a bit disappointing. > On days when my skin condition isn't great, it really sits on top of the skin, which might be expected, but it really doesn't look good. I recommend using a foundation brush rather than a spatula! I'm not sure about other foundations, but with this product, applying it with a brush makes it look much neater and gives a more skin-like finish. - oh****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJan 13, 2025
I bought a small foundation and I'm so impressed! The adherence is fantastic, the coverage is even better, and my skin feels incredibly comfortable. I think I'll stick with Amuse for foundation from now on. The staying power is top-notch too! I don't have any complaints. If I had to nitpick, I guess I wish I'd bought the larger size? Use it with a flat-top brush for best results! - jm********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 3, 2024
As a first-time foundation user, I can't compare it to others, but I think this was a successful purchase! You can choose between 30ml and 15ml sizes - I went for the 15ml as a trial. I tend to use cosmetics for a long time, often not finishing them before they expire. So if you're like me and want to test it out, or if you use makeup slowly, the 15ml size might be perfect for you! I have a darker shade 21, and this one doesn't look too light on me like other 21 shades often do. It seems to melt into my skin tone nicely. When it wears off, it doesn't turn into an oil slick but rather gives a pretty Inner Glow effect, clinging to the skin. I can see why it's called a ceramic foundation! Those with dry skin might find it a bit drying. I have oily skin, and even I feel it's a bit dry sometimes... For those with oily skin!!!! After applying, if you pat some powder on your T-zone, your pores will disappear... And if it feels dry, try dampening your puff with water or toner before applying the foundation - it goes on super smooth that way. - lj*****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 17, 2024
The color is absolutely gorgeous, and I love how well it sets! It doesn't smudge even when it gets wet or when I rub it with my fingers. The staying power is impressive. I experienced some darkening, and it might be a bit too rich for oily skin types. When I wake up in the morning, my complexion looks noticeably darker, which is quite disappointing. Applying powder intermittently helps reduce the rich feeling.
