Oh wow, this product is something else! Usually, even with the best cosmetics, you need to use them for a while to see results. But with this cream, I could feel the difference right away. It's like you can feel your pores tightening! I have super sensitive skin that's prone to deep dryness, so I've been using prescribed Zeroid. But in this hot summer weather, it feels like an oil explosion, and I've been stressing over my shiny skin. Then I won this in an event and got to try it out. I wanted to write an honest review, so I used it for a few more days. It really helped control the excess oil I was stressing about, and when I woke up in the morning, my skin felt smoother and my pores definitely looked smaller. At first, I only applied it in the evening, but since it worked so well without causing any blemishes, I now use it as the final step in both my morning and evening routines. I'll definitely repurchase this product when I run out. If you're like me and struggle with sensitive skin, large pores, excess oil, and lack of firmness, I highly recommend giving this a try! Because of the rich texture, if I only use this cream without a hydrating product underneath, my skin feels a bit tight. So I apply a little moisturizer first, then use this as the final step. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 29, 2024
* This review is based on a week of honest use after receiving the product from Hwahae. * • Scent: Nearly fragrance-free • Texture: Not too thin or thick, absorbs quickly when applied (absorbs like an emulsion) • Packaging: Beautiful! Personally, I love how they've added a unique purple accent color to the original Fation packaging • Key ingredients: Nano-Retinal RX Complex (for pore elasticity), Heparin RX Complex (for skin concerns) • Benefits: Helps with skin brightening - definitely evens skin tone. Provides deep hydration for a matte but moisturized complexion. Those prone to dryness might find it slightly lacking in moisture. Recommend layering with ample serum or applying twice for best results. Hydration ★★★☆☆ Moisturizing ★★★★☆ Soothing ★★★☆☆ Pore care ★★★★☆ • Be aware that using retinol and heparin together may not be suitable for everyone. • Applying too much can lead to excess oil production, which could be detrimental to the skin. Recommended for those who want to address both hydration and pore elasticity! (However, while it can tackle both issues, don't expect dramatic results in a short time period) - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAug 29, 2024
I absolutely love the packaging! It's so compact, perfect for popping into my bag. I've been using it as a cream, but in a pinch, it doubles as a hand cream too. Talk about a multi-purpose wonder! The rich texture is great for applying before bed or on neck wrinkles - that's definitely a plus. I can't really say if it causes any blemishes. It's a no-go for oily skin, but a big yes for dry skin types. I'd definitely recommend this for those with dry skin! The rich consistency means it provides a nice balance of oil and moisture that dry skin will appreciate. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 29, 2024
I have skin that occasionally gets blemishes and often develops small bumps. The texture: It's white but not as thin as a soothing cream. It has a somewhat viscous consistency. When applying it to the skin, it feels quite rich, but after application, it doesn't leave an overly oily or greasy feeling on the face. The packaging is a squeeze tube rather than a jar, which is great for controlling the amount and maintaining hygiene. Scent: It's completely fragrance-free, which is perfect for those sensitive to scents or who don't like cosmetics with added fragrances. While using it, I did notice some tiny bumps around my mouth and chin, but they didn't seem like reactions to the cream. I've been using it along with my usual pore serum, and I felt like my pores looked slightly less noticeable when wearing makeup. When I had blemishes, I didn't notice this cream making them heal faster or dramatically reduce, but it also didn't irritate them or make them worse. If you're looking for a safe cream to use on blemish-prone skin, I think this would be a good recommendation. The rich feeling when applying was a bit surprising at first - it felt almost too oily! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 29, 2024
1. Blemish soothing As expected from a brand known for treating blemishes, the effects are definitely noticeable. After applying it at night, I woke up to find more than half of my blemishes had calmed down. And that was just from one application! I've always wanted to try the original Patchon Trouble Cream because I heard it was great for blemishes, but it contains centella extract which doesn't agree with my skin. This one doesn't have centella extract, so it's fine to use without any side effects. 2. Redness reduction Not only does it soothe blemishes, but it also significantly reduces redness. Just one use, and the next day the difference was noticeably visible. 3. Pore refinement Although the trial period was short, so I can't speak to any dramatic effects, when used after cleansing, I felt like the enlarged pores around my nose appeared slightly smaller. I think with consistent use, the results could be quite effective. For combination dehydrated skin, it feels a bit rich. Especially in this extremely hot weather, it feels particularly heavy to use. It might be better to use when the weather cools down or for those with combination skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinAug 28, 2024
Despite its name suggesting a pore-tightening product, the first thing I noticed was its hydrating quality. It's not overly oily, making it comfortable to use. It's perfect for those in their early to mid-20s, caught between dealing with blemishes and early signs of aging, unsure which to focus on. While it didn't dramatically shrink my pores, it didn't leave my skin feeling greasy or suffocated. The scent was nearly undetectable, and the texture was that of a moisturizing cream - nothing more, nothing less. It works well as a non-pilling base under makeup. I'd need to use it longer to comment on its long-term effects, as a week's use didn't noticeably reduce my pores. Those with very oily skin might find it a bit rich. While the ingredients are good quality and didn't cause blemishes even on my super sensitive skin, people who absolutely hate any heavy feeling on their skin might not enjoy it. (However, its moisturizing yet light, cool sensation probably won't be too divisive.) Using about a fingertip's worth on each cheek provides just the right amount of hydration for a comfortable finish. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAug 27, 2024
- Hygienic tube packaging - Texture between an ointment and a moisturizer Feels slightly rich but not at all greasy! - No noticeable scent (not completely fragrance-free, but close) - Not sticky - Plenty of hydration! Seems like it won't be drying even in winter - Brightening effect After switching to this moisturizer, my complexion looks brighter when I look in the mirror after cleansing - No blemishes I have sensitive skin and always worry about breakouts when trying new products, but this was fine! Even though my skin wasn't in its best condition, it didn't worsen my blemishes It actually seemed to calm them down a bit - Pores!! Doesn't enlarge pores... I know it can't shrink already enlarged pores, so I didn't have high expectations Need to use it a bit longer to see full effects Doesn't actually reduce pore size The rich texture feels a bit heavy right after application, but it absorbs quickly so it's okay Price is higher compared to my usual moisturizer... - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 27, 2024
I have dry skin that's prone to dead skin cells and small blemishes, even in summer! My already noticeable pores were getting larger, so I was looking for a product that could manage my pores while gently treating blemishes. When I saw that Hwahae was running a tester program for their pore cream, I jumped at the chance to try it! The product's advantages are: 1. Gentleness Perhaps because Hwahae products generally help with soothing, this cream felt gentle on my skin and didn't aggravate my blemishes. 2. It helped with skin elasticity. I used it mainly at night, and the morning after first using this product, my skin felt firmer and more elastic. 1. Oiliness As soon as I apply the product, it feels like it's sitting on top of my skin, giving an oily sensation. Even after it absorbs, I can still feel the richness. 2. I'm not sure if it's because the usage period was short, but while I noticed improvements in skin elasticity, I haven't seen any effects on pore reduction yet. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 23, 2024
Texture: Consistency is just right, absorbs well. Scent: No noticeable fragrance. For oily skin types: If applied generously like a soothing cream, it might make your face quite greasy. Since it absorbs well, it's best to use a very small amount. When applied sparingly, it spreads evenly without sitting on top of the skin and absorbs nicely. Effects on pores and elasticity: Realistically, visible improvements in pores after only about 10 days of use are unlikely. Consistent use over time is needed to see if it truly improves pores and elasticity. Blemish concerns: Despite being somewhat rich, it didn't cause any breakouts, likely because it's formulated with blemish-prone skin in mind. Repurchase thoughts: This cream might be better suited for winter than summer. For oily skin types, I'd recommend trying a serum instead of a cream during this season (though I haven't tried the serum myself). However, I would recommend this for oily skin in winter! There's nothing particularly disappointing, just a slight feeling of richness. However, this can be managed by adjusting the amount used. If you have oily skin, use only a tiny amount and spread it thinly! For dry skin types, the richness should be just right!
