The texture is quite dense, almost like a sunscreen that feels a bit stiff when applying. However, it absorbs well, so there's not much of a lingering sensation on the skin. While I haven't encountered any issues like blemishes yet, I'm a bit concerned that the stiff texture might actually cause problems for pores, contrary to its intended purpose of improving pore elasticity. I think long-term use will be necessary to really know for sure. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 29, 2024
I use many Fation products, so I was thrilled to be selected as one of The Hwahae Testers! This cream has a similar texture and feel to their existing blemish cream, allowing even those with oily skin to use it comfortably without feeling greasy. While the original cream was more effective for soothing, this one has a slightly firmer texture. That's probably why they named it 'Pore Firming'. I used it until the last day of the testing period to see the pore-firming effects, but there wasn't any dramatic change. It doesn't have a cooling effect, so there were no visible improvements on pores. However, as someone with oily skin in summer, I often experience pilling and blemishes when applying cream on hot days. This one, though, was non-greasy and firm, so I could apply it well. I think it might be more effective if used with the serum from this line. If it feels a bit heavy, you can improve the feel by using blotting paper to remove excess oil. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 29, 2024
I was curious to try this product because it had 'Noscarna' in its name. Plus, it claimed to improve pore elasticity, which was perfect since my pores were all stretched out from the summer heat. So I gave it a go! Texture - This is what I really love about it. Unlike typical pore-tightening products that feel heavy and thick, this one isn't overly rich and feels more like applying a soothing, hydrating cream. Absorbs well 🆙🆙 Not sticky ❌❌ Blemishes - Apparently, this product has been tested for oily and sensitive skin types. The big plus is that it doesn't cause breakouts! 😭 The calming effect is an added bonus. Pores - Once pores are stretched out, it's so hard to fix them! 😞 That's why it's good to use products like this to prevent further sagging. Just keep in mind that I've only used it for a week, so dramatic results are hard to expect... Quantity - The amount might seem small, but since you don't need to use as much as you would with a hydrating cream, it actually lasts quite a while. I haven't seen any effects on pore elasticity yet, but if I notice improvements after long-term use, I'll update my review! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 27, 2024
I have dry skin that's prone to dead skin cells and small blemishes, even in summer! My already noticeable pores were getting larger, so I was looking for a product that could manage my pores while gently treating blemishes. When I saw that Hwahae was running a tester program for their pore cream, I jumped at the chance to try it! The product's advantages are: 1. Gentleness Perhaps because Hwahae products generally help with soothing, this cream felt gentle on my skin and didn't aggravate my blemishes. 2. It helped with skin elasticity. I used it mainly at night, and the morning after first using this product, my skin felt firmer and more elastic. 1. Oiliness As soon as I apply the product, it feels like it's sitting on top of my skin, giving an oily sensation. Even after it absorbs, I can still feel the richness. 2. I'm not sure if it's because the usage period was short, but while I noticed improvements in skin elasticity, I haven't seen any effects on pore reduction yet. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 27, 2024
With the sweltering summer heat, my pore concerns had become quite serious, so I started using this product as soon as it arrived, beginning that very evening. When I first squeezed it out, I was worried it might be too oily due to its thick consistency. Surprisingly, rather than being greasy, it had a rich, bouncy texture. Even though it's still hot outside, I, with my combination dehydrated skin, could use it without any concerns. I used it every evening, but on areas with thinner skin like around the eyes and mouth, I experienced redness, blemishes, and a tingling sensation. Those with super sensitive skin should be extremely cautious when using this. Afterwards, I focused on applying it only to my T-zone, which didn't cause any issues, so I've continued using it that way. I think it might take at least a month of consistent use to see any difference in skin elasticity, but so far, I haven't noticed any changes in pore firmness. In the mornings, when I feel like my skin might have some flaking dead skin cells, especially in the T-zone, I apply a small amount of this cream before makeup, and it adheres well. While it does increase oil production, I think it might work well to control shine once the weather gets cooler. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 25, 2024
The best part is that it doesn't cause any blemishes! After applying, it feels like it creates a hydrated glow, making my skin look plump in the morning. As someone with oily, sensitive skin, I appreciate that it doesn't contain any irritating ingredients. For my nighttime routine, I apply toner, then serum, followed by this product, and finish with a moisturizer. My skin seems quite happy with this regimen! I feel like it might be tightening my pores, though I'm not entirely sure - perhaps it's a placebo effect? Either way, I'm planning to use up the entire bottle since I believe it's improving my skin. I just hope it doesn't make anything worse! It's called a pore firming cream, but it contains ingredients that clog pores... That's not right. Please reconsider the formulation. And while you're at it, maybe reconsider the price point too. Without discounts, it's too expensive for most consumers to try, which means people with various skin concerns won't get to experience it. Most importantly, remember that once pores are enlarged, even dermatologists can't fix them. Unless you're investing in your skin like a celebrity, use a good pore cream to prevent further damage and maintain what you have. I use this as part of my nighttime skincare routine, focusing on intensive care. I apply about two fingers' worth of product, pressing it firmly into my skin and massaging it in, almost like a gua sha technique!
