Great for hydrating dry skin types.
ConsSomehow it feels like it's not deeply hydrating. The moisture seems to stay only on the surface.

It even calms blemishes that are about to appear, and if I apply it before bed, my skin texture feels much softer the next morning. It's highly moisturizing, preventing deep dryness and keeping my skin hydrated. It's a versatile all-in-one solution that I can use on my mouth area and hands too.
ConsThe texture is a bit rich, so it takes some time to absorb. When you're in a hurry, it might feel heavy, and if you apply too much, it can pill or leave an oily residue, so you need to control the amount. Also, to be honest, it's not exactly cheap, so it's best to stock up during sales.
TipTry keeping it in the fridge and applying it like a mask when your skin feels hot - it's not only refreshing but doubles the effectiveness!

I have acne-prone, sensitive, and oily skin. The Bioderma Cicabio Pommade Cream has a thicker consistency, making it ideal for those with very dry or dry skin. Its hydrating power is incredible, which might cause blemishes for oily skin types, but it doesn't contain any pore-clogging ingredients. It's probably just because of its superior moisturizing ability. The Cicabio Plus Cream has a dense, water-cream texture that's great for oily skin types. It's moisturizing enough on its own, and while it's pricey, the ingredients are excellent, making it suitable for sensitive skin. Don't hesitate, just buy it! I highly recommend this cream, especially for those who: ✅ Struggle with redness ✅ Want to balance their skin's pH ✅ Have dry skin due to cold weather ✅ Experience unexplained skin itching ✅ Have acne scars that won't fade It's a cream optimized for improving your skin barrier.
ConsWhile there weren't any real downsides, I would advise those with oily skin not to use this cream with other moisturizers. It's best to limit the use of serums or ampoules too. Otherwise, it might not absorb well and could cause blemishes. Even the Cicabio cream can be problematic if you apply too much. Use the right amount for the best results.
TipBuy it when it's on sale! It's so good but quite expensive. It's a bit pricey for daily use, and since I'll only be using it in winter, it's okay, but still... it's really, really expensive for just 40g...

With good amount control, even layering twice gives a nice finish. It seems suitable for use as both a day and night cream. I'll need to use it more to see if there are any additional benefits beyond this.
ConsThe absorption can be tricky if you don't control the amount well. If you apply too much, it absorbs slowly and can leave a white cast. It's slightly lacking in hydration for combination dehydrated skin. However, if you don't overdo it with hydration and apply this as a finishing layer, it's sufficient.
TipAfter cleansing, use toner, pat it in once, then use an essence and pat that in once. Apply your usual hydrating and moisturizing products, let them absorb well, then use a mask applicator to thinly apply a controlled amount of this product. Pat it in for absorption, and you shouldn't have any major issues. If you still feel dry, you can layer on more moisturizer without any pilling, as it absorbs well.
