I have super sensitive skin that reacts to the slightest irritation... But when my skin was at its most sensitive, applying this cream at night really helped calm it down by the next morning. It's great for soothing when you need it most. Since using this, my skin barrier has improved so much!
Cons
Just a heads up, it might cause blemishes for oily skin types! I only use this when my skin is extremely sensitive. Once my skin starts to improve, I find it's a bit too rich for me.

In the dead of winter, it's drying and causes blemishes to appear. The intensive balm is more moisturizing.

Pros
I bought this separately since it's supposed to be good for deep dryness, even though there's also a pomade version. It definitely seemed more effective for deep hydration than the pomade.
Cons
Personally, I felt the pomade had a better absorption. Also, I developed some small bumps, so I had to stop using it and gave it to my mom.

This product has a great feature for reducing redness. The texture isn't too thick, and it's not oily, making it perfect for oily or combination dehydrated skin during winter.
Cons
I had to stop using it because I developed blemishes that looked like folliculitis. It seems this product doesn't suit me. I'll have to search for another regenerating cream, back to the drawing board I guess.

Perfect for the first 5 days - no itching and excellent hydration
Cons
Initially felt moisturizing and nice, but around day 5, oil buildup led to a breakout of small bumps.. (I have seborrheic dermatitis and folliculitis-prone skin)
Tip
Use sparingly... Only apply in the evening. I made the mistake of using it morning and night, and it was disastrous. Controlling the amount is crucial. However, it's a bit thick and doesn't spread easily.

Pros
Due to the cold weather and indoor heating lately, my skin barrier has been compromised, causing irritation and severe redness. While searching for a skin barrier cream, this product seemed popular, so I bought it and have been using it. The texture is incredibly rich, which means it provides excellent moisturization. My skin still feels hydrated the next morning! It would be perfect for those with dry or very dry skin.
Cons
Because the formula is so rich, it doesn't spread easily on the skin. This might cause some irritation when applying. As someone with sensitive combination dehydrated skin, I can't use it during the day at all. I only use it at night as a sleeping pack. Also, due to its oiliness, it might clog pores for those prone to blemishes. (I occasionally get breakouts too.) Make sure to patch test the product before using it regularly.
Tip
I recommend applying it in multiple thin layers.

I bought this because I heard so many great things about it. As someone who's been using La Roche-Posay B5 religiously, I can say it's good, but somehow it's a bit too much for daily use.

For some reason, after using this, I felt like I was getting clusters of tiny blemishes? It's as if they were coming to the surface more. You can think of this as a regenerating cream that forms a protective layer on the skin.
