When my skin barrier completely broke down in winter, I spotted this product at Olive Young that promised to repair the skin barrier - I bought it right away! The absorption wasn't bad at all. While not super lightweight, it wasn't overly heavy either - just the right consistency. It felt like it was gently enveloping my skin! You can tell they really focused on hydration. If you're dealing with deep dryness or have dry skin, this cream seems perfect for you! Since I have oily skin, I tend to avoid products that are even slightly greasy, and this one felt a bit too rich for me... Did I notice any improvement in my skin barrier? To be honest, I'm not sure. I only saw a slight boost in skin hydration, if anything. It does seem like it could be effective for those with dry skin looking for deep moisture, though. Rather than applying a thick layer all at once, it seems better to layer it on thinly multiple times. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 18, 2025
Lately, as it's the changing season, my skin has been feeling dry from the inside, so I needed a cream that could provide a protective barrier and have a moderate amount of oil content. I've been using and trusting the Physiogel brand, so I purchased it. I'm usually careful when using products that can clog pores, and since I have a combination skin type, I apply the cream sparingly on my forehead and chin areas. But I apply it more generously on my very dry cheek areas, and I've been satisfied with the effective moisturizing it provides. Intellectual individuals may have a bit of oiliness and experience blemishes due to clogged pores, so they should be cautious when using the product. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinMay 17, 2025
It seems to suit the dry skin and also fit the oily skin. There seems to be quite a bit of oil, so it may feel a bit sticky. If you dislike that sensation, it may not be a good fit. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinMay 5, 2025
I've been struggling with sensitive and dry skin lately, so I decided to try Physiogel Daily Moisture Therapy Regenerative Cream. First off, I absolutely love the texture. It's a rich cream that spreads smoothly and absorbs well. It's not sticky at all, so I can even use it in the morning before makeup without any pilling! Being fragrance-free, it's less irritating, and I could use it worry-free even on days when my skin was super sensitive. I tend to have very dry cheeks, but after applying this cream, my skin stayed hydrated all day without any deep dryness. I didn't experience any blemishes, and my skin actually felt more stable. This feels like an absolute must-have for seasonal changes. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cream that strikes the perfect balance between hydration and moisture, without being too rich. The only downside is that when I wake up in the morning, my skin can feel a bit too oily. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 25, 2025
I've tried quite a few products from Physiogel's basic line, and this one was the most satisfying among them. I felt it was more suitable for dry skin rather than oily skin. Although it has a somewhat rich texture, it didn't cause any blemishes, and I was really pleased with how it helped my skin recover. I'll definitely repurchase when I run out. You can feel an oily layer as soon as you apply it, so it might be a love-it-or-hate-it product. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 11, 2025
The hydration is really fantastic. It's an excellent moisturizer for winter. Truly great for combination dehydrated skin and dry skin types. Due to its rich texture, I wouldn't recommend it for extremely oily skin. If you're not a fan of ultra-moisturizing products, this might not be for you. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinMar 7, 2025
✓ Packed with hydration, offering excellent moisturizing power! - Apply at night, and your skin stays incredibly supple until morning. ✓ Effectively combats deep dryness - Definitely provides great moisturizing effects for dry skin, relieving that tight feeling. ✓ Gentle enough for super sensitive skin - Fragrance-free and mild ingredients make it perfect for use during sensitive periods. ✓ Absorbs well without emphasizing dead skin cells - While rich in emollients, it sinks into the skin nicely without highlighting flakiness. • May be a bit heavy for combination dehydrated or oily skin types - The rich texture might lead to excess oil production. • Recommended more as a night cream than for daytime use - The richness might feel too heavy under makeup in the morning. • For best results, apply generously like a hydrating mask in dry weather! • If you have combination dehydrated or oily skin, use sparingly or only on extremely dry areas. • If the rich feeling is too much, gently blot with a tissue after application to reduce shine. ✓ Overall impression: Perfect moisturizing cream for dry skin! Maintains hydration from night till morning! Those with combination dehydrated or oily skin might need to consider carefully. Gentle and non-irritating, making it suitable even for sensitive skin periods! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 2, 2025
When you first apply it, there's a slight feeling of a film covering your skin, but it absorbs quickly leaving no residue at all! For combination-oily skin, it provides long-lasting hydration suitable even for winter use, yet it doesn't feel overly rich. Naturally, if you apply too much, it can feel quite rich on the skin. For those with combination-oily skin, apply it moderately like a barrier cream to minimize the rich feeling. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 25, 2024
Perfect for daily use! It worked really well for my combination skin that leans towards dry. It's absolutely fantastic for hydration and strengthening the skin barrier. There's a slight feeling of oil coming through... It's a bit rich, so I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin types. Apply a thick layer and use it as a sheet mask with Daiso's 1000 won green tea oil blotting papers! It removes excess oil while allowing the active ingredients to absorb into the skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 27, 2024
My skin is generally quite dry, with only the nose area being slightly oily. While the original Physiogel felt heavy and overly greasy, making my skin feel suffocated, the Regenerative version is a game-changer! They've reduced the oiliness from the DMT formula and boosted the hydration, making it much more pleasant to use. It's lightweight and doesn't clog my pores or cause blemishes like some moisturizers do! However, being a Physiogel moisturizer, it still has a somewhat rich feel, which isn't ideal for everyone. It doesn't seem to absorb completely, but rather forms a protective layer on the skin. I suppose this contributes to its moisturizing and barrier-strengthening effects. I'd recommend using it more in your evening routine than in the morning! I apply just a small amount, about the size of my pinky nail, to each area of my face. Remember, a thin layer works better than slathering it on thickly - your skin will feel less weighed down this way!
