I spray it on in the morning, and they come home from school without any dryness. My firstborn used to apply only a small amount of emulsion due to eye irritation, but now they just spray this on! It doesn't irritate the eyes and keeps dryness at bay. It's a time-saver for busy mornings, so I plan to use it all year round - spring, summer, fall, and winter! My husband occasionally uses it too. It combats deep dryness without feeling sticky and eliminates any white cast. The spray is a bit stiff for a child to use alone. That's why my first-grader uses both hands to spray it on the younger sibling! On extremely dry days, I use this spray followed by a cream-type sunscreen. On humid days like recently, just this spray and a stick-type sunscreen keep the skin moisturized. Interestingly, when sprayed from a distance, it absorbs evenly without the need for patting, while spraying up close delivers an intense burst of hydration. Personally, I'm absolutely in love with the scent - it's one of the best I've ever encountered. It's similar to the fragrance of the Atopalm Soft Foaming Body Wash that my child is currently using. After consistent use for 7-8 days, I find it perfect for a quick spritz before applying cream. The bottle's ergonomic design makes it a pleasure to hold, encouraging frequent use. My child also adores it, constantly asking for more spritzes due to its refreshing and fragrant nature. There are no real downsides! If I had to mention something, it might be the price. However, that's not a major concern since you can always purchase it during sales events. Atopalm is simply love! From a distance, it comes out as a fine mist, But if you shake it and spray up close, it dispenses as a gel. You can adjust the application method based on your skin's needs. It provides excellent hydration, absorbs well, And doesn't feel sticky at all. It has a sweet scent that kids love. I can't think of any downsides while using it. There's a high chance I'll repurchase. After showering, shake it for the gel type. For everyday use, don't shake it and use the mist spray. But surprisingly, it sprays softly enough for the kids to use on their own. Even my second child with atopic dermatitis says their skin feels plump, has a nice glow, and doesn't itch. I'm absolutely ready to repurchase! My middle school son and two daughters (3rd grade and 7 years old) all love it and apply it regularly. There are no drawbacks whatsoever! Not a single one. My sixth-grade daughter and I have it particularly bad, but after receiving this product, we've been spraying it frequently! Being an essence type, it absorbs quickly, so we found ourselves reaching for it without hesitation! After using it for two weeks, while it hasn't completely eliminated our atopic dermatitis, honestly, it's improved by about 40%. My daughter's condition has gotten 80% better! I recommend it, as I believe it'll continue to improve with continued use! Personally, I prefer unscented products, so I found the fragrance quite strong. However, my daughter says she loves the scent... I suppose it's a matter of personal preference.
