The product's texture is exactly what you'd expect from a classic cleansing foam. It reminds me of the cleansing foams I used to use back in the day, and it works best when you lather it up well. Personally, I use a foam maker, but for this product, a mesh-type foaming net might be even better. This cleanser leaves your skin feeling refreshed after rinsing, and it finishes with a moisturizing, soft touch. If you enjoy cleansing foams that leave you with that clean, refreshed feeling, I highly recommend this one. I personally love that satisfying, thoroughly cleansed sensation, so I was really pleased with it. I used to religiously stick to slightly acidic cleansers, believing the mantra "Skin is at its best when slightly acidic!" However, this product has changed my perspective. My routine consisted of water cleansing or a mild acidic cleanser in the morning, followed by this foam cleanser in the evening - and it worked wonders! I was initially worried because previous creams didn't suit me well, but this product has put those concerns to rest. It's such a relief to find something that works so well for my skin. It's become clear to me that those with overactive sebum production might benefit from slightly alkaline products. Surprisingly, my skin didn't feel overly dry after washing, though I did apply my skincare routine shortly after.

The cleanser seems to wash away sebum and impurities with its rich lather without causing any irritation! With the sudden heat wave, just a small amount creates an abundant and dense foam that leaves my skin feeling refreshed even with a light cleanse!
Cons
While the fine foam doesn't cause irritation, the squeaky clean feeling after washing can be too much for my extremely dry skin, so I immediately apply toner! If you have very dry skin, I wouldn't recommend long cleansing sessions!

Among their lineup, the 'The Liz Ricoteca Real Fresh Cream Cleansing Foam' was developed to address pores, sebum, dead skin cells, and oil control. It's a mildly alkaline cleanser that's truly impressive. You might be curious about the unfamiliar ingredient "Ricoteca" mentioned in the name. It's actually The Liz's proprietary blend of licorice root and centella asiatica extracts, designed to quickly soothe sensitive skin. This makes it perfect for calming sun-heated skin as summer approaches! The reason I recommend this gentle amino acid cleanser for those with sensitive skin is its use of naturally-derived coconut amino acid surfactants. These create a softer, richer lather that's less irritating to the skin. After cleansing, it leaves your complexion feeling clean and hydrated. When I tried it, I was amazed at how well it lathered compared to other mildly alkaline products I've used. The post-cleanse feeling was noticeably different - refreshingly clean! The morning after using it, I was pleased to see that it effectively removed excess oil and dead skin cells, leaving my complexion noticeably smoother. However, for those with combination dehydrated skin, there was a slight feeling of deep dryness after cleansing. Still, it felt more hydrating compared to when I used the Medicube Zero Foam Cleansing. The scent is similar to Senka Perfect Whip, which I found pleasant. A small amount produces rich lather, making it suitable for gentle cleansing without irritation!
Cons
Although it claims to have powerful cleansing properties, I found it less effective at removing regular cosmetics. When I had to rely solely on this foam cleanser without cleansing oil in a pinch, I needed to wash my face at least twice for a thorough cleanse. This foam cleanser seems best suited as a second-step cleanser. On the bright side, it does a great job of removing excess oil and dead skin cells.
Tip
Using this foam cleanser after a compatible first-step cleanser would be ideal for removing excess oil and dead skin cells in one go!
