Its creamy foam adheres to the face for effective cleansing, leaving skin feeling hydrated afterwards. Mildly alkaline cleansing foam: Despite concerns about its cleansing power, it removed makeup thoroughly. Plus, my skin felt moisturized without any tightness after washing. They must have included soothing ingredients! Lather: Gentle and soft cleansing, even for sensitive skin. Why? Because the lather is incredible! The rich, creamy foam reminds me of whipped cream, clinging to every pore for a thorough cleanse. The fluffy foam makes washing your face a pleasant experience. Leaves skin feeling moisturized and soft. The fine, creamy lather gives you confidence that it's cleaning out every pore and bit of sebum. Texture & Scent: Thick and syrupy consistency. The scent is more medicinal than fragrant or pleasant. It seems they focused more on effective ingredients than on creating a lovely scent. The Reese Brand: The vegan certification boosts my opinion of the brand. The sophisticated design suggests they invested in quality ingredients rather than flashy packaging. Hoping this lives up to The Reese's slogan of "My Skin's Golden Age" and improves my complexion... Cleansing Effectiveness: Despite being mildly alkaline, it removed foundation and eyeliner completely. Compared to other mild alkaline products, I think its cleansing power is quite good. Best of all, my face doesn't feel dry afterwards - just moisturized and soft.
ConsThe scent isn't appealing. It's somewhat reminiscent of a mild nail polish remover - more of a clinical smell. However, I keep reaching for it because of that amazing lather. The whipped cream-like foam is so tempting, I had to resist eating it!
TipUsing a foam maker or working up a good lather allows you to cleanse thoroughly with a smaller amount, helping the product last longer.

I simply lather it up with my hands, and it produces a luxuriously abundant foam. This allows for a gentle cleanse without irritating my skin, which I really appreciate. While I didn't particularly notice a moisturizing effect after washing, there was no feeling of tightness or deep dryness. If you dislike that slippery residue some cleansers leave behind, you'll likely be very satisfied with this product! Throughout my use, I haven't experienced any blemishes or irritation, so overall, I'm quite pleased with this cleanser!
ConsThe one downside for me was that I found the scent overpowering. It has a somewhat artificial fragrance, if I had to describe it. However, my sister, who also uses it, says she barely notices it, so this seems to be a matter of personal preference!

This was my first time trying a mildly alkaline cleansing foam, and it worked well for my combination dehydrated skin. It lathers up nicely: Even with a small amount, it creates a rich, dense foam that's like whipped cream. Moisturizing without deep dryness after cleansing: Usually, alkaline cleansers can leave my skin feeling tight if I don't quickly follow up with skincare. However, the Ricoteca Real Fresh Cream Cleansing Foam leaves my skin feeling moisturized without any tightness. Gentle ingredients: With its kind-to-skin formula and soothing effects, it seems perfect for those with super sensitive skin.
ConsThe scent is subtle but artificial: It's reminiscent of the Senka fragrance, which might be hit-or-miss for some people. Double cleansing is necessary: Perhaps due to its smooth, moisturizing finish, it feels like you need to cleanse twice or more for thorough removal.
TipOn days when blemishes or small bumps appear, try this: Create a rich lather and apply it thickly to your face like a mask. This method helps soothe the skin!

The cleansing effectiveness is quite good, and after washing, my skin feels hydrated without any deep dryness. It leaves my complexion feeling fresh and comfortable.
ConsHowever, the scent has a rather strong artificial note, which was personally a bit disappointing for me.

In the morning, I only use the low pH cleansing foam. I initially tried using this product on its own and found it to have quite high cleansing effectiveness. So, I decided to replace my second step (deep cleansing foam) with the Ricoteca Cleansing Foam! The cleansing power is just as perfect as my previous deep cleansing foam! Despite its strong cleansing ability, it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight or excessively dry! True to its name "Whipped Cream Cleansing Foam," the foam is incredibly soft, rich, and creamy. It's such a pleasant experience to massage it onto my face!
ConsMy skin was originally not sensitive and more combination type, but ever since I became pregnant, it's become super sensitive. When I switched to this new cleansing routine, my skin broke out with red blemishes or spots. Given my current sensitive skin condition, I think those with naturally sensitive skin should be cautious when using this or may need an adjustment period. There's a slightly chemical scent which caught me off guard at first. However, after using it a few times, I think I've gotten used to it.
TipFor those with super sensitive skin or those experiencing changes in skin sensitivity, it's advisable to patch test new products and introduce them gradually into your skincare routine. The chemical scent, while noticeable at first, may become less bothersome with continued use. Remember, what works for one person may not work for another, especially when dealing with sensitive or changing skin conditions.

Texture: True to its name as a "whipped cream cleanser," a small amount produces a soft and moisturizing lather. 2. Gentle: My T-zone tends to be oily, so I usually use enzyme powder cleansers that can be a bit harsh. However, this cleanser's soft, creamy foam is perfect for sensitive periods or when I need to avoid irritation. 3. Cleansing power: Despite its gentle foam, it feels slightly slippery when washing, requiring multiple rinses. This suggests it's not weak in cleansing effectiveness, even though it's gentle on the skin.
ConsTo be honest, I've never really noticed any significant effects or side effects from cleansing foams, so I didn't have high expectations while using this. In reality, I didn't find any notable pros or cons. The scent is a bit medicinal though!

This is my honest review after using the product for over a week. Texture: It lathers up nicely and feels gentle! A little goes a long way, so you only need to use a small amount. Experience: I didn't have any particular discomfort! No stinging or eye irritation. It definitely leaves skin feeling squeaky clean, probably due to its slightly alkaline nature. However, it doesn't seem to dry out or roughen the skin. Effectiveness: While it claims to be great at removing fine dust, that's honestly hard for me to verify. But it does seem to cleanse thoroughly, leaving no residue on the face. Repurchase intention: However, I don't really plan to repurchase... I'll explain why below!
ConsScent: The product seems really good quality, but the scent just isn't my cup of tea... It makes me reluctant to use it. It has a strong chemical smell, if that makes sense? If you're not particularly sensitive to fragrances, you might really enjoy this! I'd especially recommend it for those with oily skin.
TipA small amount produces a rich lather! You don't need to squeeze out too much to get a thorough cleanse.

It's gentle and pleasant to use.
ConsThe product's scent was a bit disappointing, as it smelled like kitchen dish soap.
TipI tend to use a facial cleansing tool when washing my face.

Cleansing Effectiveness - While it may not have incredibly strong cleansing power, it's an excellent product for daily morning use. I have oily, acne-prone skin that develops one or two blemishes daily, but this cleanser seems to effectively remove excess oil and sebum! My face feels surprisingly clean after washing, yet still hydrated. I always remove makeup with a cleansing balm first, so this works perfectly as a second cleanse. 2. Lather - It doesn't produce an extremely rich or abundant foam, but the texture feels soft and slightly elastic. The cleansing experience is gentle on the skin. 3. Overall Impression - I had heard that low pH cleansers were good for acne-prone skin, but they actually made my skin worse. I used to prioritize strong cleansers even if they irritated my skin. After trying this product, I can confidently say I'll stick with it until I find something better. This is now my go-to daily foam cleanser.
ConsThe only downside might be the scent. When I first used it, there was a medicinal smell that could be polarizing. Still, I like it enough to keep using it regularly.

Not just on my face, but especially on my body! I washed my face and body with a mildly acidic soap, but the sebum wasn't properly cleansed... Oily skin types should not use mildly acidic products ใ ใ Anyway, I switched back to the products I was using before and changed my face wash to a mildly alkaline one! Fortunately, I no longer have any more acne. My body is also slowly improving ๐๐ I've relearned that oily skin needs thorough cleansing of sebum!
ConsThe smell is somewhat... like an ointment. It's not a fragrant aroma, but it's not unpleasant either. The texture has a creamy feel to it.
TipIt's good to use oil occasionally~ Also, please use retinol~
