This product is highly suitable for sensitive facial skin. After application, pores appear smaller and the complexion has a radiant glow. Initially, it may cause some redness on the face, but as your skin adapts, it eventually leads to a brighter complexion. I highly recommend this excellent formulation to everyone. - ki*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 12, 2025
It stings at first, as expected, but by day 3, I can feel that Inner Glow coming through..! The discomfort is only temporary.. After applying it before bed on the first night, my face was a bit red when I woke up, but from day 3 onwards, it's been fine. - ks********Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMay 16, 2025
I've been using it for about 2 weeks and the effects are surprisingly noticeable. I purchased it based on a friend's recommendation, but I initially thought it would be similar to a Daiso product. However, the effects have been much more pronounced. At first, I wasn't sure if the product was the reason, but after using it multiple times, I realized this product is responsible. The formula is on the runny side, and as it's a serum, it doesn't absorb immediately. This actually leads me to massage it in more, which is beneficial since the product contains microneedles. Doing so provides a better experience. The day after using this product, my face definitely looks brighter. The absorbency, which is both an advantage and a disadvantage, is not great, so you need to apply it for a longer time. Since it contains a lot of fine needles, it is more irritating and the fine needles last longer, so it may be irritating to those with sensitive or delicate skin. I only apply it every 2-3 days before bed as it seems a bit irritating to use daily. Using a product with a regenerative effect after using this one seems to help see results faster. - kf********Combination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 24, 2025
This serum was quite effective for pores and pigmentation issues. It contains spicules, which might cause irritation for some people. - db******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 18, 2025
It seems gentle enough for even sensitive skin to use without causing excessive irritation The price seems quite steep compared to the amount you get - ab**********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 6, 2025
I've been using this product as directed, and I can feel my pores and skin texture gradually improving! For the first two weeks, I followed the instructions to use it every other day, applying a small amount. It gives a slight tingling sensation, which makes me feel like it's really working to improve my skin. When I first tried it, I got a bit overzealous and used it two days in a row, but I immediately felt some irritation. If you carefully read and follow the instructions, I think you'll be quite satisfied with the results! The slight tingling sensation really makes you feel like your skin is getting better. I have dry skin, but I didn't experience any discomfort when I applied a generous amount of moisturizer after using this product. Remember, it's essential to follow up with plenty of cream after using this! I haven't found any downsides yet. I've been using it for about two weeks, but if I notice any drawbacks, I'll be sure to come back and update my review. It's crucial to apply sunscreen the next morning during your skincare routine. Don't use this product together with retinol or vitamin C! Make sure to apply plenty of moisturizer after using this product! And don't use it daily right from the start! - th********Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 27, 2025
The Cellamax The Vita A Retinol Shot Tightening Serum left quite an impressive first impression among recent products I've tried. I decided to use this product when I noticed my pores and fine lines, which weren't usually visible, started appearing clearly on camera during close-up shots. Especially when I was becoming more concerned about my pores, I immediately purchased it after reading the product description claiming it 'tackles problematic pores and early wrinkles simultaneously with retinol.' First, I loved the packaging design. It's clean and minimal without any unnecessary elements, and the cap isn't a screw-type but a convenient 'click' open-close structure, allowing for hygienic use. Above all, the pump dispenser, rather than a squeeze tube, is really convenient. It's easy to dispense the right amount, and the contents stay clean without contamination. The texture is close to a hydrating, watery type. The color is a subtle yellow tint reminiscent of vitamin A. When squeezed onto the back of my hand, it has just enough viscosity not to run, yet boasts excellent absorption, seeming to melt into the skin upon contact. It's neither heavy nor sticky, lacking that rich feel typical of retinol products, making it comfortable to use even in summer. Moreover, it doesn't leave a sticky residue after application, and its very fresh finish makes it compatible with subsequent products. It absorbs naturally into the skin without pilling, even when used before makeup, making it easy to incorporate into a daily skincare routine. Except for particularly sensitive days, I could use it without irritation. I'd give it high marks for hitting the trifecta of absorption, freshness, and ease of use. The strongest sensation I felt upon first using this product was a tingling sensation. While it was fine when tested on the back of my hand, I was momentarily taken aback by a stinging irritation that lasted about 5 seconds when I first applied it to my face. Although it subsided over time, those with sensitive skin should be aware that this initial reaction is characteristic of retinol to avoid being startled. The second drawback is the limitation in moisturizing power. While it has the advantage of being fresh and quickly absorbed, it lacks that deeply nourishing feel. If you have combination dehydrated skin like me or suffer from deep dryness, you might find the hydration insufficient when using this serum alone in your nighttime skincare routine. When using it as part of a night routine, you definitely need to layer a cream on top to prevent skin from feeling tight. Also, this product, true to retinol's nature, shows changes with consistent use rather than quick results. So after using it for a few days, you might wonder, 'Is this really effective?' Especially for those with high expectations for 'pore improvement' or 'firmness', it might be difficult to feel definitive effects with short-term use, potentially leading to premature disappointment. While the pump structure of the packaging is hygienic and convenient, one drawback is the difficulty in controlling the amount dispensed. Even a slight press of the pump releases a large amount of product, with one pump covering the forehead, both cheeks, and chin with excess. This might be inconvenient for those who want to use it in smaller, divided amounts. The price point is also slightly ambiguous. While Cellamax's pricing is generally reasonable, when compared to other gentle retinol serums, it falls on the more expensive side, which might feel burdensome for beginners. For those with sensitive skin or those new to retinol, I recommend starting with every other day use or applying a small amount. If you feel a tingling sensation, try applying plenty of hydration before use and finishing with an oil-based cream to significantly reduce irritation. If you want to use it before makeup, quickly absorb a small amount for a fresh finish without pilling. Instead of fully pressing the pump, gently press it to dispense small amounts for easier control! - 96***Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 15, 2025
After using it for a month, I'm writing this review with an empty bottle. The yellow ampoule really gave my skin a radiant, brightening effect. The concentrated 'little shot' visibly improved my skin condition in the mornings. It's quite expensive. Considering the amount, I really had to use it sparingly. The 'little shot' is meant to be used 2-3 times a week, but the bottle is so small. While the price-to-volume ratio is disappointing, I can't say it's ineffective. It's frustrating. - yo**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 24, 2024
I bought this because I was concerned about my pores, and I'm pleased with how well it absorbs! It's not sticky at all and gets absorbed quickly, which is great. I have sensitive skin, and even though I followed the application instructions carefully, I experienced some side effects. Certain areas of my skin became dry, itchy, and had a tingling sensation. It's important to apply this product carefully according to your skin type. - lm*********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 5, 2024
Despite being a micro-needle serum, it glides on smoothly with an excellent feel. It suits my skin perfectly, causing no blemishes. If you're sensitive to micro-needles, you might want to think twice. However, the needles aren't that painful, and the results are actually quite impressive.
