The texture is definitely matte, which I think will be great for summer use. The coverage felt about medium, but it nicely concealed my pores, which I liked. I would recommend this to people with nice skin.
ConsThere is a slight pinching sensation near my nose. On days when my skin is not looking its best, my makeup tends to come off. I had a bit of an excessive buildup of dead skin cells. I would not recommend this to those who experience severe flaking like I do.

I applied it with a Fillimilli corrector brush on my T-zone and nose, and used a Daiso brush for the rest. Even though I'm a beginner and didn't control the amount well, it doesn't feel heavy at all. It covers pores nicely and gives a perfect semi-matte skin finish. I had applied a very oily sunscreen, but this foundation doesn't completely mattify that glow - it's truly just... semi-matte. There's minimal accentuation of dead skin cells or settling into fine lines (except a bit around the nose). My between-brow area usually cracks badly and emphasizes whiteheads, but this foundation doesn't do that... I expected it to crack everywhere, but it's even better than when I use my semi-glow cushion, wow! Anyway, I bought it for around $17, and I think it's super cost-effective. It's similar to, or even better than, a $27 cushion. As for the color, hmm... I'd say it's slightly high in saturation, leaning towards a yellow-beige.
ConsThere's a bit of settling around the nose, and it slightly emphasizes areas with lots of peach fuzz. It also slightly accentuates dead skin cells around blemishes or scars. It sets quickly (is this a con?), so you need to blend it fast. Also, I'm not sure if this is a downside, but I heard shade 21 was very light, so I just got 22, and it's a perfect match.
TipIf you don't like it too bright, consider going a shade darker. Also, apply it thinly. I've only tried these brushes, but it seems to work well with the Fillimilli corrector brush and the Daiso glow foundation brush. It's probably okay with Daiso puffs too.
