The packaging may not be fancy, but it's practical. I appreciate that it's less rich than other lip balms, which is why I've been using it regularly. When I lost mine, I didn't hesitate to repurchase. The affordable price and the 1+1 deal make it even more appealing! Has this been reformulated? The tip used to be round, which I loved, but now it has some sharp edges that make application uncomfortable. The texture also feels heavier, with more of a rich feel to it. Sure, the increased richness might mean better hydration, but I bought this for its lightweight hydrating properties! If they wanted to boost hydration, why not introduce a new variant instead? And what's with the scent? It used to be nearly fragrance-free, but now there's an odd smell. I wish I hadn't lost my old one so I could make a direct comparison. It's quite disappointing. The reviewer expresses mixed feelings about the product. They appreciate its affordability and previous formulation but are disappointed with perceived changes in the applicator design, texture, and scent. The contrast between their positive experience with the original version and their concerns about the possible reformulation is evident. - mi********Dry SkinAtopic SkinJun 13, 2025
This lip balm can be found at a bargain in various ways. When applied to the lips, it didn't cause any issues. Although it's said to contain fragrance, I found it to be almost scentless. It's not sticky and feels rather refreshing. The product's performance doesn't live up to its fame. Among the lip balms I've tried, this one has the shortest hydration longevity - I feel it disappears after about 30 minutes. It leaves a shiny finish right after application, so I wouldn't recommend it for going out. The texture is slightly thick, but it applies thinly on the lips. It's tricky to control the amount from the tube. As you apply, the balm tends to gather at the tip of the tube, making the screw part prone to getting messy. The amount control was so awkward that I ended up cutting it open as shown in the picture and used it separately. - ya*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 5, 2025
✔️Usage period: About 6 months (used up one tube, used during winter) ✔️Good value for money ✔️Budget-friendly lip balm ✔️Great for daily use ✔️Affordable, perfect for a quick purchase when you've forgotten your lip balm ✔️The scent is almost undetectable, but there's a slight glycerin-like smell that isn't particularly pleasant ✔️When applied, it doesn't fully remove dead skin cells, and can actually make them more noticeable, tempting you to pick at your lips ✔️The rich feeling doesn't last very long ✔️Not recommended for those with extremely dry lips ✔️Especially not suitable for winter use ✔️While it's not very rich, if you apply it thickly even beyond your lips, it can still provide some hydration - dh*******Dry SkinRecommendedMay 20, 2025
Moisturizing It needs to be applied frequently instead. It is good for people with cheilitis or allergies. Having to reapply it frequently is a hassle It's in gel form, but it absorbs surprisingly quickly - dx********Dry SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 18, 2025
First, let me say this: - I have a habit of biting off lip flakes, so my lips often bleed - Due to the above reason, it is difficult for me to properly manage the lip flakes Pros 👍 - The size is small and it's in a tube form, so it's good to apply frequently - It's more powdery than other lip balms (there is some oil content, but not much) - It absorbs well - The flakes settle down quickly after application - In my case, when I apply tint and my lips get too dry, I sometimes apply this lip balm on top, but the one I used to use would dry out and not look as nice after a short time However, this one keeps my lips moisturized while maintaining the appearance The downside is that it doesn't completely remove all the dead skin and replenish moisture!!!! It just makes the lips feel a bit more moisturized, so it's better for everyday use rather than at night. When applying a bit too much, the lip balm can get on the areas around the lips, which can look a bit unsanitary if not properly managed! It's not a super glossy lip balm. Normally, when my lips feel dry, I apply it and then put on tint. After that, I reapply it, which works well. I received it as a school festival gift and I think I will repurchase it next time. - au*****Combination SkinRecommendedMay 9, 2025
I don't particularly choose lip balms, I just use whatever I receive as gifts. Sometimes friends bring them back from Southeast Asian trips. It's a decent product... good hydration, and personally, I like that the applicator isn't too rough on the lips. The generous amount is perfect for slathering on during winter. The scent isn't quite to my taste. It has a rather strong artificial smell. I'd recommend buying this abroad, during a major sale in Korea, or as part of a bulk purchase for the best value. - yu******Dry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 4, 2025
It's super affordable, making it great for slathering on without worry! As for anything else... the effects are not particularly noteworthy. Maybe it's because it's so cheap, but it has no moisturizing effect at all. I only use it when I need to apply something liberally! - da*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresMay 1, 2025
The texture is delicate and crumbly. The hydration power isn't bad at all. Plus, it's quite affordable, which is nice. Since it's not a formula that absorbs smoothly in one go, you need to rub it in several times. Each time you do, more product ends up on your fingertips than on your skin, so you waste a lot... - lo*********Dry SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 29, 2025
As someone with perpetually dry lips and severe flaking, I've tried countless lip balms. But nothing beats this one in terms of scent, price, and hydration. The tube packaging means you inevitably get some on your hands when applying, which is a bit inconvenient. I wish they'd release a stick version too! - zl******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 29, 2025
It's unscented and affordable, making it a great choice for everyday use! It's a bit tricky to apply lip makeup over it, and it's slightly oily, so it's best to apply it before bed. I can't say it's incredibly moisturizing or that it removes dead skin cells from the lips.
