It applies lightly and absorbs rapidly, leaving a fresh finish. Having used various pore products like MTS, needle shots, and air shots, I'm accustomed to them, so I didn't find it particularly stinging on my skin. Compared to other products, I felt it was less irritating. The needle sensation lasts until the next day's cleansing, and after washing, my skin texture feels smoother, and makeup applies better than usual. It was more effective for pores than needle shots or air shots, with noticeably reduced pore size. My skin looks brighter, and even those bothersome blemishes seem slightly faded. While it's effective, it's actually less irritating, and it even helped calm skin bumps and redness. My skin feels firmer, and my overall skin condition has improved.
ConsThere weren't any major drawbacks with the product. In fact, I used it so satisfactorily that I wish there was a larger size available!
TipMoisturizing after application is essential. For those with super sensitive skin, it's better to adjust the frequency of use to 2-3 times a week rather than daily.

It has a lightweight emulsion-like texture. The scent is sweet and familiar, though I'm not sure if it's pleasant or not - to me, it doesn't smell like ginseng. After application, there's a temporary brightening effect. It seems to help fade blemish marks quickly.
ConsPerhaps due to winter, the product feels light and slightly more drying than other spicule products. Those with dry skin might need to layer a moisturizer on top. It's a toner-essence-emulsion (cream) hybrid. The ginseng ingredient might contribute to its higher price point. While I've gotten used to the tingling sensation from other products, I still feel it every time I apply this one.
TipThe spicule size is larger than Wellage but similar to or slightly smaller than Daiso's.

Improved skin: My skin texture became incredibly soft. Despite not sleeping much and drinking lots of coffee during exam period, my skin actually improved, which was surprising. I highly recommend it. 2. Fresh finish: I loved how it left my skin feeling powdery soft, not sticky or greasy. 3. Scent: The fragrance isn't overpowering, and it doesn't smell like typical cosmetics, which is great! 4. Blemish improvement: While there wasn't a dramatic effect after just one day, I noticed a significant reduction in blemishes over a week of use.
ConsWhen I first used it, I was surprised by a slight tingling sensation.
TipI applied it consistently morning and evening, and my skin has truly improved dramatically. I even had everyone who visited try it. Although they all felt a slight tingling at first, not a single person experienced any breakouts or redness! I absolutely recommend this product.

No stickiness or heaviness. The fragrance-free formula was inoffensive. Experience: It feels stronger than the Daiso 300. I used it once every 5 days and noticed improved pore elasticity and healing of troubled skin! The next day, I definitely felt a smoother texture. Even with my sensitive skin, I had no issues, likely due to the good ingredients.
ConsThere aren't really any cons, but if I had to mention something: Tingling: As mentioned earlier, it tingles a bit more than Daiso 300. It's best to start with cheeks or nose area, and if it feels okay, apply to the whole face. Quantity: The product comes out in small amounts, so I needed to pump 2.5 to 3 times. (The photo shows one pump.) While it might seem pricey for the quantity, I'd likely repurchase after finishing it.
TipI always follow up with a mask after using this spicule treatment. It feels like the mask ingredients penetrate better, and I've heard it's important to moisturize well afterwards. I recommend using the spicule treatment at night rather than in the morning, followed by a mask! I spaced out my treatments to every 5 days, but using it every 3 days should be fine too.

I'd say it's more of a traditional herbal aroma. However, it's not overpowering, so it shouldn't be polarizing. Texture: The consistency isn't watery; it has a bit of viscosity. The texture feels like a robust emulsion. Application and Effects: I'm absolutely thrilled with this product! First off, I love that it doesn't feel greasy. Being cautious about irritation, I applied a hyaluronic acid essence first, then layered this on top. I used to always have one or two blemishes on my chin, but since using this, I haven't had any... even during exam period! I was sleeping only 2-4 hours a night, so it wasn't due to better overall health. Whether it's improving my skin texture or what, my complexion has really improved! Exosomes: When I tested it on the back of my hand, both my sister and I were quite surprised. Having used Lithe Shot 50, this felt much more potent. There's a slight tingling sensation when applied to the face, but it's not unbearable. However, it's not something you get used to!
ConsThere was just one issue - the lid on the container was a bit problematic. It was difficult to open, quite stiff, and I thought I might pull out the pump along with the lid when trying to open it.
TipIf you're worried about the tingling sensation, try applying your usual essence first and then layer this on top, or mix them together for a gentler application.

It has a firm texture and a subtle ginseng scent. Make sure to follow up with a moisturizer after use.
ConsI've noticed some blemishes appearing on my cheeks. I'm not sure if it's due to insufficient hydration or if my final moisturizer is the issue.
TipAfter trying various microneedling products, I've realized that post-treatment care is crucial. It seems necessary to replenish hydration and moisture. For those with sensitive skin, it might be better to use these products every 2-3 days rather than daily to manage skin irritation.

When applied, it spreads thinly and absorbs quickly into the skin. Scent: At first, I thought it had a coconut scent, but after reading about the ginseng extract, it suddenly seemed more like ginseng... That said, the ginseng scent isn't overpowering, and it's not so strong when applied that it would be polarizing. Spicules: The only other spicule product I've tried is from Da*so, and compared to that, this feels similar to their 100 Needle Shot in terms of tingling sensation. The irritation is mild enough for daily use. Sensitivity: I have sensitive, very dry, blemish-prone skin! Usually, spicule products are too harsh for me to use regularly, but since I received this as part of The Hwahae Testers, I used it consistently for two weeks. While there's a slight tingling upon application, it didn't cause redness or irritation, which I appreciated.
ConsDryness: The instructions suggest using it at the serum stage, but it doesn't provide the same level of hydration as a typical serum. Those with dry skin might find it leaves their skin feeling tight. Effectiveness: After only two weeks of use, I didn't notice any significant results. Naturally, it would require longer use to see more substantial effects.
TipI think it might work better if used earlier in the skincare routine!

I had heard of microneedle products but this was my first time trying one. As I have super sensitive skin, it stung a bit upon application. I started by applying a small amount, focusing on the T-zone. The milky, thin texture absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling hydrated. I could barely detect the ginseng scent, which I liked as it's close to being fragrance-free. While I'm not sure about its effect on pores yet, I've noticed my complexion brightening, so I'm gradually expanding the application area. With my sensitive skin, I've been using it every other day, and it seems my skin is slowly adapting compared to when I first started.
ConsWhile it absorbs well, which is nice, I find the deep hydration to be lacking. If you have super sensitive skin, it might cause irritation, so I recommend patch testing or using a small amount.

As someone with naturally large pores and recent skin troubles, here's my review after using it: ❤️ The pump bottle made it convenient to use. The texture is similar to an emulsion - not too runny or thick, but just right. True to its name, there's a very subtle plant-like ginseng scent, which I personally didn't find overpowering or unpleasant during use. 🧡 I used it every evening for about 10 days after cleansing, right after my toner step. As someone who's previously used V* Needle* 300-500, I didn't experience much tingling sensation. 💛 The next morning after use, my skin condition felt better than usual! As I continued using it, I noticed my blemish scars seemed to fade faster. It claims to be effective for pores, sebum, and blackheads - and indeed, when I applied makeup, my pores appeared reduced. Even after removing blackheads, they seemed to take longer to reappear than usual.
ConsWhile the effects aren't definitive yet, I feel my skin condition has improved and I've noticed some benefits for my pores and blackheads. I don't have any major complaints! However, the price is a bit steep for the amount you get, which is disappointing. Also, it doesn't seem to prevent new blemishes from forming, so those hoping it will completely calm all types of blemishes might not be fully satisfied. I still got some pimples while using it.
TipI found that using a collagen mask after applying this essence helped boost my overall skin condition even more!

My skin is quite resilient, so I only felt a very slight tingling sensation. - The pump dispenser makes it convenient to use. - There's a subtle ginseng-like scent, which I found pleasant and not overpowering.
Cons- The opaque white container makes it frustrating to see how much product is left. - If your skin doesn't agree with spicules, you might experience redness. - It would be nice if the spicules came in various intensities like some other brands offer.
Tip- After using this ampoule, I always follow up with a soothing cream. This helps with absorption and maximizes the calming effect on any irritated skin.
