Skin Type: I have a scalp that tends to get hot and dry. In summer, it gets oily easily, and in winter, it's dry and itchy. It's a state that really requires constant care... Texture: The texture is quite rich. I use a wooden Sabon spatula to scoop it out, which I find hygienic and neat! When applied to the scalp, it absorbs well without pilling, leaving a moisturized feeling. How to Use: Apply generously to dry scalp for 15-20 minutes, then wash off thoroughly with shampoo. The process can feel a bit time-consuming sometimes, but when you see the results, it's totally worth it! Effectiveness: The effects are truly amazing. It significantly reduces scalp heat, leaving a cool sensation, and keeps my hair looking soft and glossy all day with a smooth feel. It's especially effective in improving my dry, itchy scalp. Highly recommended for those with hot and dry scalps like mine! Scent: I absolutely love the scent! It's not too strong, with a fresh, slightly herbal note that makes each use feel like a healing session. It gives me that self-care vibe, which is awesome! I think anyone would enjoy this fragrance. Overall: As I entered my 30s, this was my first scalp treatment, and it's become an essential item. I bought it during a Black Friday sale, but it's so satisfying that it would be worth the full price. Although it takes a bit of time to use, the comfort it brings to my scalp and the change in my hair texture are truly remarkable... Strongly recommended for anyone struggling with scalp heat or dryness! The downside is that it's expensive, so I only aim for it during sales. *sigh* - ju*****Oily SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 28, 2024
This product cools down the scalp and provides hydration! As soon as you open it, there's a strong mint scent. The texture is like a chewy flour dough. When applied to the scalp, it gives a pleasant cooling effect that doesn't just last for a moment, but continues for the entire 15 minutes of the scalp pack. It's incredibly refreshing in summer!! Even after showering, the scalp feels cool. It seems to nourish the hair roots too, as the hair where the pack was applied feels incredibly soft. The scalp feels soothed and moisturized. The chewy, dough-like texture makes it wasteful to apply with hands, and using a brush to apply it alone is quite challenging. The texture itself isn't easy to apply without someone's help. Since it's a pre-shampoo scalp pack, the unfamiliar usage method feels strange, making it less appealing to use regularly. - se**********Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 12, 2024
My husband, who used to work at Lush, recommended this product. Given my trust in Lush's natural ingredients, I decided to purchase Roots, thinking it would be worth the price. And my conclusion? It's definitely worth every penny. The instructions suggest applying it to a dry scalp for 15-20 minutes, massaging it in for best results. That's how I've been using it. When I have extra time, I apply it before I shower (before undressing), do some housework, and rinse it off after about 30 minutes. It feels incredibly refreshing and invigorating. The day after using this, I notice significantly less oil on my scalp. However, I find it's almost ineffective when applied to wet hair. While it's fine to use when you have time to apply it to your scalp before showering, for busy modern people who just want to quickly shower and rest when tired, this product isn't really suitable for daily use. It's clear that for the best results, it needs to be applied to a dry scalp and left on for at least 20 minutes. I wouldn't recommend this for people who tend to be lazy with their routines. Compared to getting expensive scalp treatments at a salon, using Roots once or twice a week at home is a worthwhile investment, even if it's a bit of a hassle. For those struggling with scalp odor, itchiness, or dandruff, I think this product will be quite satisfying.
