At first, I thought it might be heavy, but suddenly it absorbed beautifully, leaving my skin feeling soft and fresh. The texture is quite intriguing - it seems rich, but doesn't feel greasy at all. It didn't cause any blemishes and worked well for my skin overall. Using this alone in winter left my skin feeling very dry, even though I have oily skin. The product has an interesting formula that initially feels substantial but absorbs quickly without leaving a rich residue. It's gentle enough not to trigger breakouts and provides a good balance for various skin types. However, it may not provide sufficient hydration for colder months, especially for those with combination dehydrated skin. - hj*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 31, 2025
I've been using this product since last winter after a dermatological procedure, and I'm still loving it. While searching for a cream suitable for my irritated, dry skin, I came across this one. With its reasonable price and 10% dexpanthenol content, I bought it as a regenerating cream, and I'm still extremely satisfied with it. Despite its rich texture, it absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling hydrated without any greasiness. During transitional seasons, I apply it day and night over a light moisturizer. As the weather gets warmer, like now, I only apply it to dry areas before bed. By morning, my skin feels less dry, and any irritation from the day seems to have calmed down. I think this would work well for those with dry or super sensitive skin! I can't think of any particular downsides to this product. The only thing I can say is that if you apply too much, it might feel a bit heavy on the skin. - cs*******Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessMay 21, 2025
The application is so heavy that it feels like it's going to clog your pores. It was really disappointing. You can't layer it, there's no soothing effect, and I won't buy it again. What a letdown! The product has a thick consistency that doesn't absorb well into the skin. It leaves a heavy feeling and seems likely to block pores. Additionally, it lacks any calming properties and isn't suitable for reapplication. Overall, it's not a product I'd recommend or repurchase. - se********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessMay 9, 2025
You can use this even after cosmetic procedures. It's advertised as a soothing, deeply hydrating cream, and the price is incredibly affordable, so I had high hopes when I ordered this calming cream. First off, it has a very rich texture. The amount is just right, and it comes in a tube, which makes it hygienic and easy to use. Despite its rich texture, the moisturizing effect is noticeably lacking. I couldn't feel any hydration at all. It's okay to use as a final layer after completing your skincare routine, but if you're only applying this? Those with dry skin, your skin will suffer! I'm not sure if it really helps with soothing either. I didn't see any of the rapid calming effects mentioned in the product description... Maybe because my expectations were so high, but I was really disappointed with this product! There's really no use for this anywhere else except on the face. - dh****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 12, 2025
Great for soothing and hydrating after laser pore treatments. Highly recommended for calming, moisturizing, and reducing redness. It has a rich texture, so I suggest using it after your evening cleanse. The rich consistency might not suit those who prefer lighter products. Due to its thick and oily nature, it's not ideal as a morning emulsion or pre-makeup base. For best results, I recommend mixing it with a calming serum and applying it in the evening as part of your soothing routine. - du*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 11, 2025
Absorbs smoothly and suits dry skin well! I liked that the scent wasn't too strong. It's especially great if you're sensitive to fragrances. I didn't experience any blemishes from using it. After application, my skin felt a bit heavy. I'd recommend this more for dry skin rather than combination dehydrated skin. It might work best if you layer it as a final step after applying plenty of lightweight, essence-type products. - ha******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 9, 2025
I bought this when it got a bit chilly and my hands were getting chapped. To be honest, I didn't purchase it for my face since it contains dimethicone, shea butter, and other ingredients that could potentially clog pores. I originally intended to use it on the back of my hands and ankles - areas exposed to the cold. But surprisingly, it turned out to be fine for my face too! Of course, I apply it sparingly, and I haven't experienced any blemishes or breakouts. The scent might be a bit divisive. Personally, I don't particularly dislike it, but I can't say I'm a fan either. Since it has a rich texture, it's best to be mindful of how much you use. - ki********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 29, 2024
Info: Atopalm, Real Barrier, and Dermave are all from the same manufacturer. I've been using Atopalm Panthenol Cream successfully, so when I heard Dermave released a panthenol cream, I decided to give it a try. This is a 100% honest review based on my own purchase. Personally, while panthenol comes in both ampoule and cream forms, I find the ampoules too sticky despite their high concentration. I prefer using high-concentration creams instead. This product, like the Atopalm Panthenol Cream, contains 10% panthenol (100,000ppm). For comparison, D-panthenol or Bepanthen ointments sold in pharmacies typically contain 5% panthenol (50,000ppm). This product combines panthenol, MLE, cica, and ceramide ingredients. I happened to have both the Atopalm Panthenol Cream and MLE Cream on hand, so I compared them: Left: Dermave Cera MD Repair Panthe Balm Middle: Atopalm Panthenol Cream Right: Atopalm MLE Cream Thickness: Panthe Balm >>>> Panthenol Cream > MLE Cream Stickiness: Panthe Balm >>>> MLE Cream > Panthenol Cream It seems to soothe well and provides good hydration. I used it with a cica ampoule, and my irritated skin recovered quickly after a peeling treatment! It's too greasy and sticky. Even though it's meant for soothing, it's quite thick. It's too sticky to use on the face and is more suitable as a night cream. While it's recommended for post-laser soothing, considering the texture, I'd prefer using a cica ampoule first, followed by the panthenol cream. Also, it has a medicinal scent... Other panthenol-containing creams are fragrance-free, so I'm not sure why this one has a scent. Anyway, it smells similar to Madecassol ointment.
