  Pros

  The texture is pleasantly hydrating. It applies and spreads smoothly, gliding on with ease. I've been enjoying the effectiveness of the G'sential Spicule Ampoule, so I was curious about their sunscreen. My current sunscreen is a very moisturizing emulsion-type mineral formula, which can feel a bit heavy in summer. G'sential's sunscreen, however, provides just the right amount of hydration for deep dryness. It's perfect as a summer sunscreen for my skin, which easily flushes in heat. The fast-absorbing formula allows me to quickly apply the necessary amount (about the size of a quarter) in layers for proper protection. Those with severe dehydrated skin might find it lacking in moisture. As for white cast, it gives a natural brightening effect? In fact, it's so subtle that it's barely noticeable, just slightly illuminating the skin in a natural way.

  Since it only provides moderate hydration for deep dryness, I might reconsider using it during seasonal changes and winter months on my extremely dry skin, except for summer.

  It absorbs well and doesn't irritate my eyes. Plus, it evens skin tone nicely. I applied a generous amount on the back of my hand and then rubbed it between both hands to help it absorb. I could tell the sun protection was effective because after applying it all over my face and wearing a hat outside, the exposed areas like my cheeks and around my mouth had faded, while the shaded areas around my eyes still had a white cast. When used before applying powder, there was no pilling, but I didn't feel like it had amazing adherence. However, it felt less drying. It seems to have its pros and cons. This seems perfect for those wanting a less drying mineral sunscreen.

  If you only apply this sunscreen once before going out, you might need to reapply frequently. Those looking for a product with strong adherence might find it a bit disappointing.

Initially, there was a white cast when applied, but it naturally disappeared after a short while. It absorbs well and left my skin with a nice glow after application.
