I had high hopes after hearing it was lightweight, but it felt more like a sun serum with high oil content. The texture is water-like, and you need to shake it well before use! It applies very easily and smoothly in a lightweight manner. My sister, who has normal skin, said she liked how light it felt!
ConsAs I have combination dehydrated skin, I felt some deep dryness after applying it. Also, perhaps due to the excess oil or ingredients, my skin had a negative reaction. I'm not sure if it really adheres well to the skin to create a good base for makeup. When I only applied this sun serum and powder, it clumped with the oil and wasn't great. When I applied makeup, it seemed like the makeup was just sitting on top of my skin rather than blending in...
TipHmm, I usually apply toner and moisturizer before sunscreen, but with this product, it seems to adhere better to the skin if you skip the moisturizer step!

For a long time, most sunscreens claiming to be 'powdery' only left my skin dry, but this one actually delivers on its promise! Thanks to its texture, it pairs perfectly with BB cream. Despite the 'airy' name, it has quite a runny consistency. I was skeptical about how well it would set, but once applied, it adheres well and leaves a powdery finish. There's a slight whiteness initially, but it quickly subsides, so no need to worry! It's the essence of organic UV protection.
ConsWhile it aims for a 'matte but moisturized' feel, there's more residue than expected... It's powdery, but it feels like you've dusted powder on your face. For a fresher finish, I found it's best to keep your skincare base as light as possible. Perhaps because of this, I experienced some small blemishes. Switching to a lighter moisturizer helped prevent this issue. Keep this in mind!
TipI tend to avoid using gel creams with this sunscreen! The textures don't seem to complement each other well, so if you decide to use it, it might be best to skip gel-based products in your routine.

It's not runny enough to drip, and it's a transparent organic sunscreen formula without the white cast or whitening effect of mineral sunscreens 🧴 Scent Has that distinctive, slightly sharp sun spray scent. Not quite lemony, but leaves a fresh fragrance 🧴 Application The thin texture allows for easy spreading over large areas with just a small amount, making it highly spreadable 🧴 Feel on Skin Initially, when blending on the face, it feels wonderfully hydrating. However, after fully applying, it leaves a slippery, oily feeling on the surface, which is a bit disappointing 🧴 Compatibility with Foundation Due to the excess oil on the surface, it doesn't seem to pair well with foundation ✨ Recommended for Those looking for an easy-to-apply, transparent organic sunscreen with a dewy finish to use on its own
Cons😔 Drawbacks While it applies smoothly with an abundance of moisture, it quickly leaves an oily feeling on the surface. It doesn't address deep dryness, so you need to apply it over a solid, hydrating skincare routine, which is disappointing. The excess oil on the surface means those with oily skin will need to finish with a powder, which can be inconvenient

I can see why they call it 'makeup-friendly'! I usually like to brighten my complexion a bit before applying makeup, and this product gives a subtle blue-toned brightening effect that looks natural, which I really appreciate. The scent is just like a typical sunscreen - a bit chemical. The texture, true to its name, is like a thin serum that glides on smoothly without any pilling or patchiness. Great product! While the regular price seems a bit high, I'd consider repurchasing when it's on sale.
ConsThe only downside is that the texture feels a bit oily on the surface, leaving a slight residue on your hands.
TipSince it finishes with a slightly dewy look, it's probably best to use this before applying makeup.

Unlike tubes that make it hard to squeeze out the last bit, this rigid plastic container is a plus. Recommended skin types: Dry skin, oily skin without severe deep dryness.
ConsI have combination dehydrated skin with deep dryness and surface oiliness. Usage experience: If not shaken well, you can see the oil separating from the product. Make sure to shake it thoroughly before use. Even when applied to the less oily back of my hand, it pills and doesn't absorb well, as shown in the photo. It's quite runny, so be careful with the amount you use! The high oil content makes it more suitable for dry skin rather than oily. Remember to shake it well before each use.
TipShake the product well before use. After application, lightly blot with oil-absorbing sheets or powder to remove excess oil before applying makeup.

Sun serums are becoming increasingly popular these days, aren't they? As spring approaches, many people are looking for lightweight formulas that absorb well into the skin while providing hydration, perfect for use before makeup. Let me give you an honest review of Cossnory Airy Sun Serum, co-developed by makeup artist Sang-eun with 16 years of experience! 💙 Texture & Application It has a thin essence emulsion texture, but it's not transparent or translucent. Instead, it's a white sun serum with a slight blue tint. Perhaps because of this, it seems to have a subtle tone-evening effect on yellowish skin. As expected from a sun serum, it spreads thinly and evenly. It doesn't feel like it's absorbing, but rather like it's creating a thin protective layer on the skin. They seem to promote it as a "matte but moisturized sun serum," but when actually using it, it doesn't make your skin deeply hydrated. It's an ambiguous feeling, a mix of powdery and slippery... It's not completely matte! 💙 UV Protection & Longevity With SPF 50+ / PA ++++, its UV protection level is similar to recently released sun products. It's not waterproof, so it might come off with water or excessive sweat. I applied it thoroughly on the back of my hand and tried to wash it off with water, and it formed small white water droplets! However, even after rubbing vigorously with my other hand, some remained, so it seems to have some staying power. For cleansing, most of it came off with a low pH cleansing foam, but for a complete cleanse, using a cleansing oil would be better! 💙 Skin Appearance (Makeup Performance) I had high expectations since it's known to work well with makeup, but even when used alone, it seemed to settle into texture and pores over time. After applying the sun serum and base makeup, it seemed to emphasize texture/pores more than usual, and areas around the nose and mouth appeared whitish. It seems this sun serum doesn't quite work for me... haha Personally, I find that formulas that make the skin firm and bouncy work better with makeup than those that try to achieve both matteness and moisture, ending up feeling a bit off.
Cons😅 Drawbacks - The biggest downside is the "scent". I'm personally sensitive to fragrances, and whether they were trying to evoke an 'airy' feeling like clouds, the artificial cotton scent was too overwhelming. It really makes me reluctant to use it... Not recommended if you're sensitive to fragrances. - It doesn't seem to provide deep hydration as much as I expected, only temporary surface moisture (oiliness). The feeling of oil lingering on the surface wasn't particularly pleasant.
Tip🍯 Tips - It dries faster than expected, so make sure to have a solid skincare routine underneath - Apply it very thinly, controlling the amount with your fingers as you spread it - Due to its runny texture, be careful not to squeeze the container too hard when using the sun serum, as too much product might come out and drip

If you shake it well before use, it applies smoothly like an emulsion without clumping on the skin! It's oil-free, so it doesn't leave a greasy feeling even after some time. It doesn't dramatically brighten your face, but it subtly evens out your complexion. There's no stickiness, so it feels comfortable on the skin.
ConsIf you don't apply your skincare properly, it might feel a bit powdery on the surface. If you don't shake it thoroughly, the product may separate when dispensed.
