My skin is oily, so even in the winter, I have to use gel creams or mix a medicinal barrier cream into my moisturizer. If there are problematic ingredients in a product, I can easily detect skin issues after using it in the evening after cleansing. Fortunately, no such problems were found with the product I'm using. The ingredients passed the test. Previously, I used a sun cream with a tone-up function (Huxley Apricot Sun Cream), but after switching to a different one, I found that my skin looks nicer when applying concealer and foundation afterwards. The new sun cream is more moisturizing and oily, making it easier to apply makeup on top. It's like a modified version of the Shu Uemura UV Base that I love to buy when I visit Japan - it adds more hydration without leaving a heavy residue on the face. I think those who enjoyed the Shu Uemura product will find this one a great match as well.
ConsFrankly, the skin feel of using it is too greasy for my liking... I cannot say it is 'airy'... It is a sun serum, but the absorption is much worse than mineral sunscreen products. My usual way of applying sunscreen is to use it after a skincare routine (3-step toner, ampoule, moisturizing essence, and a light lotion), allowing 2-3 minutes for absorption, then lightly spreading the sunscreen on my face, letting it dry for 30 seconds, and patting it in. However, with this product, even after 8 minutes, it still sits on my face like, "What are you doing?!" and I have to vigorously pat it with a cushion puff to make it absorb...(it's so annoying) The overall skin feel also has this peculiar lukewarm, oily sensation.
