Those with oily skin will appreciate the texture. It applies smoothly and leaves a powdery finish. No white cast. I'm not a fan of sunscreens that leave a white cast, so I was pleased that this one applies transparently. Gentle on the skin. It applies well without causing any irritation!
ConsNot recommended for dry skin types. I have combination skin, and noticed some flaking around my dry areas like the chin and sides of the nose when applying makeup. Avoid if you're sensitive to scents. It has a strong, distinct cosmetic smell. I'm not sensitive to fragrances so I can use it, but if you are, I recommend testing it before purchasing.
TipRemember to shake well before use and apply a thin layer.

However, Cosnori's Airy Sun Serum lives up to its name - it's lightweight and absorbs without leaving any rich residue, which I really appreciate. When first applied, it has a water-like consistency and feels quite rich, but once it's absorbed, it maintains a glow while finishing with a silky texture and no oiliness. It leaves your skin in that perfect hydrated, plump state that's ideal for makeup application. Highly recommended!
ConsThere's a strong orange or citrus scent that might be polarizing - it's too intense for my liking. Also, the amount seems a bit small for the price point. The water-like consistency means you'll probably use it up faster too, which doesn't help.
TipIf you have dry skin, make sure to apply a generous amount of moisturizer beforehand to prevent any deep dryness!

The packaging is smaller than I expected, which makes it perfect for carrying around. It's so pretty too! The texture is quite fluid, typical of a serum. Unlike heavier creams, it feels thin and light on the skin. There's no white cast either! I thought there might be a slight one at first, but it was just because it hadn't fully absorbed yet. As for the scent, it's not unscented - more of a herbal or powdery fragrance with a hint of richness. It's a bit off-putting at first, but thankfully it doesn't linger. After application, there is some shine, which takes a while to subside. I have combination dehydrated skin with some dry patches, and when I applied makeup over this serum, I noticed a bit of pilling and some patchiness around my nose and cheeks. I had high hopes since I heard it works well under makeup, but it didn't quite meet my expectations - though that might be due to my current skin condition. I'll give it another try when my skin is in better shape. On the bright side, I didn't experience any blemishes after using it!
ConsThe inconvenience of having to shake it before use and the artificial-smelling fragrance were disappointing. Also, while writing this review, I realized it's a bit pricey for the amount you get.
TipWhen applying the sun serum, it's best to hold it close to your face! If you turn the opening downwards, it might suddenly pour out...

Sun serums are becoming increasingly popular these days, aren't they? As spring approaches, many people are looking for lightweight formulas that absorb well into the skin while providing hydration, perfect for use before makeup. Let me give you an honest review of Cossnory Airy Sun Serum, co-developed by makeup artist Sang-eun with 16 years of experience! 💙 Texture & Application It has a thin essence emulsion texture, but it's not transparent or translucent. Instead, it's a white sun serum with a slight blue tint. Perhaps because of this, it seems to have a subtle tone-evening effect on yellowish skin. As expected from a sun serum, it spreads thinly and evenly. It doesn't feel like it's absorbing, but rather like it's creating a thin protective layer on the skin. They seem to promote it as a "matte but moisturized sun serum," but when actually using it, it doesn't make your skin deeply hydrated. It's an ambiguous feeling, a mix of powdery and slippery... It's not completely matte! 💙 UV Protection & Longevity With SPF 50+ / PA ++++, its UV protection level is similar to recently released sun products. It's not waterproof, so it might come off with water or excessive sweat. I applied it thoroughly on the back of my hand and tried to wash it off with water, and it formed small white water droplets! However, even after rubbing vigorously with my other hand, some remained, so it seems to have some staying power. For cleansing, most of it came off with a low pH cleansing foam, but for a complete cleanse, using a cleansing oil would be better! 💙 Skin Appearance (Makeup Performance) I had high expectations since it's known to work well with makeup, but even when used alone, it seemed to settle into texture and pores over time. After applying the sun serum and base makeup, it seemed to emphasize texture/pores more than usual, and areas around the nose and mouth appeared whitish. It seems this sun serum doesn't quite work for me... haha Personally, I find that formulas that make the skin firm and bouncy work better with makeup than those that try to achieve both matteness and moisture, ending up feeling a bit off.
Cons😅 Drawbacks - The biggest downside is the "scent". I'm personally sensitive to fragrances, and whether they were trying to evoke an 'airy' feeling like clouds, the artificial cotton scent was too overwhelming. It really makes me reluctant to use it... Not recommended if you're sensitive to fragrances. - It doesn't seem to provide deep hydration as much as I expected, only temporary surface moisture (oiliness). The feeling of oil lingering on the surface wasn't particularly pleasant.
Tip🍯 Tips - It dries faster than expected, so make sure to have a solid skincare routine underneath - Apply it very thinly, controlling the amount with your fingers as you spread it - Due to its runny texture, be careful not to squeeze the container too hard when using the sun serum, as too much product might come out and drip

Cons• The formula was thinner than expected, making it quite runny and inconvenient to apply. • As someone with combination skin, I found it extremely greasy. • The more I rubbed it in, the oilier it felt rather than absorbing. • It left an unpleasant, slippery residue that felt more like oil than a healthy glow. • There's a distinct rubber eraser scent, which was off-putting. • Despite my regular exfoliation routine, I was shocked to see it leaving white, flaky residues later. • After applying this sun serum and doing my usual makeup, I experienced deep dryness while the surface remained oily, which was problematic. • It was frustrating because it kept producing oil while claiming to have a matte finish, making it even more uncomfortable.
TipApplying it gently and then patting with a puff seemed to be the most helpful method, though still not ideal.
