After finishing my usual hyaluronic acid ampoule, I found this gem while searching for a replacement! It's a perfect match when used together with the toner from the same line - talk about a power couple! My skin feels so hydrated that I almost forget I ever had deep dryness issues. It's amazing how it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight at all! When applied after the toner, it really helps lock in that moisture. If you use the ampoule alone without the toner, the hydration level feels slightly lacking. Make sure to use it with the toner! During seasonal changes, with pollen and dust in the air, my skin was red, dry, and irritated. But after cleansing and applying this, the redness significantly decreased and my skin felt wonderfully moisturized! The lightweight texture allowed me to apply it morning and night after toner. It doesn't cause makeup to pill or slide off when used as a base (just make sure it's fully absorbed before applying makeup!). I'd really recommend this to anyone with deep dryness or dry skin. Even though I have oily skin, I struggle with dehydration, and this made my skin feel super hydrated! When first applied, you can feel the distinctive viscosity typical of hyaluronic acid serums. However, as you spread it, it's as if a burst of hydration occurs - it becomes much thinner and absorbs quickly without feeling overly sticky. I definitely noticed less skin dryness when using this compared to not using it. As someone with extremely oily skin, my sebum production goes into overdrive as the weather gets warmer. I've been using serums that help control oil lately, which has left my skin feeling a bit dry with some dead skin cells appearing. But after consistently using this product since receiving it, I've noticed significantly less dryness. In conclusion, even for my combination dehydrated skin that doesn't typically love hyaluronic acid, this serum proved to be a pleasantly versatile option that works well. But when I tried the Millba Lab Jeju Volcanic Sea Water Ampoule, I definitely felt less deep dryness, and my makeup went on so much better! The name itself, 'Jeju Volcanic Sea Water', sounds like it'd be good for the skin, right? It contains a 6-type ceramide complex and an 8-type hyaluronic acid blend, though honestly, I'm not too savvy about ingredients... What I do know is that it makes my skin feel more hydrated, which is great for applying makeup. And the packaging is absolutely gorgeous... The sky-blue bottle looks just like the Jeju sea, it lifts my mood just looking at it! If I had to pick one minor drawback, it would be that the dropper dispenses a bit less product than I'd like, so I need to press it two or three times to get enough. I applied it once in the morning and once in the evening. The first image shows the product, the second is from day one, and the third is from the last day. Though the skin tone looks darker in the third photo because it was taken at night, my actual complexion remained the same. Now, let me list the advantages! 1. Packaging & Application The dropper bottle makes it easy to use! It has a runny texture, so you need to apply it quickly. I loved how it's moisturizing and absorbs well into the skin. 2. Gentle on Skin Perhaps due to its mild ingredients, it didn't cause any irritation or itching. While I don't usually get large blemishes, I occasionally got small bumps before. But while using this product, I noticed fewer of these popping up. 3. Improved Skin Texture While you don't feel an immediate improvement when applying, with consistent use, I felt my skin texture getting better. Comparing the photos, I could really see the difference in my skin! It even seems like my smile lines have diminished. Now for the downsides! 1. Quantity is a bit lacking Since this product flows easily and absorbs quickly, I tend to use quite a bit in one application. I wish there was a bit more product in the bottle. 2. Pores I tend to have blackheads, and I felt like sebum built up a bit more easily compared to other serums I've used. But this might just be because my previous serum had a pore-minimizing effect... This product doesn't seem particularly effective for enlarged pores. To get enough hydration on your face, you should probably use up all the product from one full dropper! If that's not enough, you can always go for a second round. With other serums, I used to do one drop on the forehead, one on each cheek, and one on the nose. My skin type is dry with somewhat large pores. With the changing seasons, I was worried about my skin being too dry, but I'm really glad I got to try this product. It's colorless and fragrance-free. The texture looked quite thick at first glance, but when I applied it to my skin, it was thinner than expected and absorbed well. The absorption is good, and I think it would be great to use when you need quick hydration for your skin! There's no irritation at all, so I'd recommend it for super sensitive skin or dry skin types. However, since it seems to have very little oil content, I think even those without dry skin could use it. Also, for those with dry skin, as I mentioned earlier, since this product doesn't leave an oily finish, you might be more satisfied if you follow it up with an emulsion or cream after using this ampoule to complement that aspect. Depending on the user, some might find the ampoule too light, but I was satisfied as I think it would be great for spring to summer use. As someone with dry skin, it effectively addressed my deep dryness, keeping me comfortable without any tightness all day, even when applied before makeup. The texture is light and smooth, absorbing quickly into the skin. This makes it perfect for layering without feeling heavy. After use, my skin texture became noticeably smoother. With 8 types of hyaluronic acid and a 6-type ceramide complex, it strengthens the moisture barrier effectively. Thanks to the Jeju Marine Complex, it also calmed my sensitive skin without any irritation. What I loved: • Dual moisturizing effect that hydrates from within • Quick absorption + Non-sticky finish • A gentle vegan ampoule suitable even for sensitive days • Excellent moisture retention (Keeps skin hydrated until night without tightness!)
