I've been using Bear Apricot regularly, but I felt a bit disappointed by its somewhat heavy and dark color when reapplying. So when I heard Honeydew Melon had a softer feel than Bear Apricot, I decided to buy it. The color is definitely softer and lighter, closer to a bare lips or base lips look rather than an accent lip. If you prefer a sheer and light everyday makeup, this color works great on its own! When you layer it, the saturation increases slightly, but instead of becoming heavy or intense, it builds up to a clear and translucent finish that's absolutely gorgeous. Also, when touching up, you can just apply it directly without using cushion cover on your lips, and it still goes on beautifully in its original color.
