The tone-up is just right. I was looking for a sunscreen that would provide a moderate tone-up, and since it was famous, I decided to try it. The application was better than expected, so I was satisfied with that aspect. However, ใ ใ it didn't seem to work well with my foundation... I'm not sure if it's because of the incompatibility with my skincare or what, but when I use only this, it leaves a hazy, crumbling effect on my makeup ใ ใ It also tends to become more oily... I couldn't figure out the root cause, so I can't use it when I'm doing my makeup.๐ฅน But when I use it on its own, it's quite suitable for my oily skin. It provides a moderate tone-up, so I can even go out with a bare face!
ConsMakeup tends to break down and become oily when used before application, leaving behind marks. This causes it to crumble and become uneven. However, there is never any issue with the initial application of makeup. I'm not sure why this happens.

I'm a big fan of Cellusion's laser sunscreen and always have it stocked up. I wrote a comparative review of the renewed laser sun cream product, and this time I applied for the event since the Hwahae Blemish Toning Sunscreen has been renewed. The formulation is not much different from the original (laser sun), which I liked. The reasons I continue to use Cellusion's products are 1) no eye irritation, and 2) no breakdown even after wearing makeup for a long time, and this product met those two criteria very well! I was satisfied. Moreover, the product gave a natural, about half-tone brightening effect when applied, and when patted in, it blended seamlessly without any cakey or unnatural feeling while using it for makeup.
ConsCompared to laser sunscreens, it had a slightly oily feel. Being a cold-climate product, when applying makeup, after sunscreen and foundation, I would dab with a tissue and finish with powder, and it seemed to get a bit heavy at times! However, it was much less oily than other brand sunscreens, so I would recommend it for oily-skinned individuals.^^

Smooth application ๐ Tone-up effect allows use as a foundation-free or makeup base substitute ๐ Subtle fragrance & personally experienced minimal irritation
ConsAfter applying and some time passing, there is noticeable exfoliation in certain areas (not recommended for dry skin) If it seems like too much was applied, there may be a lifting or sliding effect
TipGently moisturize and apply! Use on days when you want to do light makeup (foundation-free makeup)

That's why I don't prefer lightweight creams like this soothing cream. I'm allergic to aloe (aloe vera extract), birch (xylitol), and mung bean ingredients. This is a review after using the product for a week! Texture: I usually only use tone-up sun creams when going to the office, and I've tried quite a few different ones. I think this product is an average one. The texture is just in the middle in terms of moisturizing and powdery feel. It feels a bit oily when applied, but becomes slightly powdery after absorption. The tone-up effect is also moderate, not too bright or too dull. So I think this is a product that can be used comfortably by most people. And since it's a mineral sunscreen, there was no eye irritation at all. Breakouts: I tend to get breakouts when using incompatible products, but I didn't have any issues with this one. It didn't cause any itchiness or problems for me. Fragrance: The fragrance is not strong, so I think anyone can use it comfortably.
Cons๐ณSpreadability๐ณ Since it contains a non-micronized ingredient, it tends to clump up a bit ๐ When applying it with my hands, it was definitely difficult to spread it evenly and it would clump up... That's why I used a puff to apply it! ๐ณMakeup Compatibility๐ณ After applying this tone-up sun cream, my makeup felt a bit heavy ๐ Of course, if I had adjusted the amount, it might have been better, but I only used it on its own! ๐ณPrice๐ณ Looking at it now, the price seems quite high ๐ Since I tend to use a generous amount of sun cream, the price is a bit burdensome for me!

It seems to have a similar feel to the BB cream I used to wear when I was younger, and on days without any special plans, I found it convenient to just use this sunscreen and go out. * Skin: There were no breakouts during use. It's not irritating, which is good. * Texture: It's moderately moisturizing, thin, and applies lightly. There's no heavy or sticky feeling, and it didn't cling or feel uncomfortable when I put on a mask right after application, which I'm satisfied with. * Tone-up: Applying just this sunscreen was enough to brighten my skin expression. If I use a slightly darker foundation than my usual one, the coverage increases and the skin expression looks better. * Blemish improvement: I have quite a few freckles and age spots, but I don't manage them separately. (Please refer to the last photo) The product claims to have blemish improvement effects, but since I've only used it for a week, I think I'll need to use it for another month or two to confirm the improvement effects. I'll update this review later.
ConsAfter applying sunscreen, when I layered foundation on top, the foundation would sometimes slip a bit, depending on the type of foundation. However, as I mentioned earlier, applying just the sunscreen alone provides sufficient tone-up effects, so I have been using it on its own and am satisfied with the results.

ConsUsing sunscreen alone: If you don't control the amount properly, your face will look patchy and white, and it will easily wipe off, so those who often touch their face are not recommended. Using sunscreen + powder: As I have oily skin, powder is essential, but if I touch my face, the sunscreen and powder clump together and get pushed to the sides. Applying sunscreen and then makeup: It gets pushed off my face like eraser dust. I can tolerate a certain degree of shifting, but this was too extreme. I don't know if it's just me, but the shifting was too severe. I only used one cream for my base. I'm not sure about other functions since I didn't use them much. The most important thing I consider when using sunscreen is the degree of shifting, and among the sunscreens I've used, this was the worst. Everyone may experience it differently, but I wouldn't recommend it...

It has a lightweight feel, so the skin doesn't feel stuffy, which is great๐๐ป I have a combination skin type, where the T-zone gets oily as the day goes on, and the cheeks get severely dehydrated. Even with my usual routine of applying skin, ampoule, moisturizer, sunscreen, and foundation, I didn't feel any dryness, and my oiliness didn't increase much compared to normal. The beige-pink tone initially looked a bit too pale, but when I applied foundation on top, it had a nice, radiant look without looking unnatural or chalky.
ConsIt seems to be about the usual level of trouble that comes up around a week before that particular day. While the trouble is not yet certain, there is a slight appearance of sebum on the face, but it's not severe. There is a slight tone-up, so on days when the application is not controlled well and too much is used, the makeup tends to slip a bit, which is a bit disappointing. Attention needs to be paid to application control and adherence. However, when not applying too much and spreading it evenly with a puff, the feeling of the makeup slipping is a bit less.
TipIf you're looking for a sunscreen that provides a natural tone-up effect with a bare-faced look, I'd recommend that. At first, it may seem a bit bright, but as time passes, it blends seamlessly into your natural skin tone. Alternatively, if you apply it well with a spatula or by patting it in, the tone-up effect before makeup will ensure a radiant look that lasts throughout the day.๐๐ป As long as you get the application and amount right, I can definitely recommend this product in this regard. :)
