Dryness and diet (excessive sugar intake) are the main causes of my acne. Currently, my skin concerns are red and brown acne marks (hyperpigmentation). When I neglect skincare, I tend to develop hard, difficult-to-extract acne. Purchase Motivation and Usage Period I've used D'Alba cream before and was satisfied, so I decided to try their toner through The Hwahae Testers. I used it once daily in the evening for about 10 days consistently. Review After Use The texture isn't completely watery, but has a slight viscosity. It applies smoothly and feels moisturizing without being sticky. For my extremely dry skin, it felt somewhat light, but I compensated with additional skincare (cream). As with the D'Alba cream I used before, I noticed an overall brightening of my complexion with this toner. My main concern is acne-related hyperpigmentation rather than freckles or blemishes. While the acne marks didn't disappear completely, they seemed to fade a bit as my overall complexion brightened. Considering the short usage period, I think the effectiveness is impressive! The fragrance seems to be polarizing, but I personally liked it. The luxurious scent made me feel like I was getting a professional treatment. Additionally, I didn't experience any blemishes during the usage period, and it felt gentle on my skin.
ConsI prefer to apply toner directly to my face for absorption, but the container was inconvenient for this method. Unless you pour it into your hand, a lot of the product tends to drip down the sides of the bottle.

Application: The oil and moisture balance makes it glide on very smoothly, leaving a moisturized finish. Absorption: True to its 'serum toner' claim, it helped with deep dryness and kept the skin surface very hydrated. Scent: If you're a fan of the Dalba mist, this has the same fragrance. It's not overpowering, but might be hit or miss for some. Recommended skin types: Dry, combination dehydrated skin
ConsMy skin is closer to dry in winter and combination dehydrated otherwise. This toner absorbs quickly while leaving a rich finish. Interestingly, when I first tested it, changing only the toner, I got a few blemishes that disappeared after a few days. It might be too heavy for oily skin types in summer. Also, I'm not sure if it's just mine, but the cap leaked every time I used it, requiring constant cleaning. If they improve the cap, I'd consider repurchasing for seasonal changes or winter use.
TipWhen your skin feels particularly dry, you could soak cotton pads generously with the toner and use them as a quick mask.

It feels like a lightweight serum/ampoule. - Scent I liked the sweet fragrance since it contains perfume. However, it might be fine without the scent too. - Application It absorbs well with just a small amount. I loved that it forms a light moisture barrier without feeling heavy! When I need a light base before makeup to prevent pilling, this works great - just a thin layer followed by sunscreen leaves my skin nicely hydrated! - Recommended Skin Type/Season I have combination skin, and I found the product neither too light nor too heavy. For winter or dry skin types, you can layer it or use it with a cream! It's a product suitable for all seasons. - Packaging This is my first time using a one-touch toner, and it's convenient. You can use it by simply pressing the button without opening a separate cap. As mentioned below, there's a minor issue with leakage, but it's not a big inconvenience, so I'm still using it well. Some reviews I've seen were negative about this, but I found it convenient and good! Thumbs up!! - Absorption/Oil Control It absorbs well. Perhaps because it's not a watery toner, when you apply this product, it creates a thin moisture barrier (with a bit of oil) and gives a glow. It's not a product that absorbs completely leaving no trace, but it's not sticky either.
Cons- Ingredients The ingredients aren't entirely perfect, which was a bit disappointing. Especially the fragrance, which I think could be omitted. However, I didn't experience any blemishes during the approximately two weeks of use. - Packaging While the one-touch container is convenient, it might not be the best choice if you're concerned about hygiene. I usually clean the container of my toner periodically, but with this product, I noticed that the contents can get into the crevices and leak, which could be inconvenient. - Effectiveness It claims to have brightening, anti-wrinkle, and spot-removing effects, but I'm not sure about these yet.
TipIt's great for use as a toner pack!

Since I try to minimize touching things between washing and skincare, this was perfect. Also, I usually apply toner > ampoule > emulsion > cream, but since this product is a toner+serum combo, it felt like it strengthened my base routine! (I kept the rest of my routine the same, including using an ampoule) Before using this product, even with my usual routine, I'd notice some dry, white patches on my face after a few hours, especially during seasonal changes. But after using this, that issue noticeably decreased - I could feel the difference in my skin. As for dark spots and blemishes, while it might be a placebo effect, I did notice they seemed a bit lighter. With consistent use, I wonder if they'll fade even more? (Fingers crossed!)
ConsThe fragrance is too strong for my liking. It's not a scent I personally prefer... The formula is quite runny, so when you put it on your palm, it tends to drip (it was a bit tricky to control the amount at first). I couldn't help but think it might have been better if it had a pump dispenser. These two points are why I deducted one star..
TipAfter cleansing, soak a cotton pad with the toner and place it all over your face for about 3 minutes. Then, finish by gently wiping along your skin texture and pat to absorb. Just doing this will prevent your face from feeling tight!

Having used Dalba mist before, I had high expectations for this toner. I applied only this product after my usual mist routine, and even after two hours, my skin doesn't feel tight at all. Plus, there's no slippery or sticky feeling, so my hair doesn't stick to my face and I don't get that ticklish sensation. I'm really satisfied with it.
ConsThere's nothing I dislike about it. I'm extremely satisfied. The only minor inconvenience is that unlike other toners, the opening is on the side, so when using it, the product tends to drip down the side, which is a bit of a shame.

My skin type is extremely dry, sensitive, and prone to atopic dermatitis. Because of this, I couldn't use products that might irritate my skin, like those with vitamin C, without worry. However, this product was very gentle. I didn't experience any blemishes at all. The texture is watery and has a slightly yellow tint, which might be the natural color of the vitamin. I liked that it was hydrating in a way that created a moisture barrier, rather than just absorbing and leaving the surface looking dry. It seems like a great product for daily brightening care. Personally, I don't like products with fragrance, but the scent in this one was so minimal that it was fine. I have a darker complexion, so I can't see if it's brightened my skin, but like all brightening products, I think results might show with consistent use.
ConsIt's disappointing that there isn't a noticeable brightening effect. Also, after using the product and closing the lid, it keeps leaking, making the opening messy.
TipIf you want to enhance the brightening effect, it might be good to use this along with other products that have brightening properties. As for me, I apply a skin booster first to improve absorption before using this product.

As someone with atopic, extremely dry skin, my skin texture was always rough no matter what I applied. But with the d'Alba Vita Toning Serum Toner, as soon as I apply and massage it in, my skin texture becomes incredibly soft. I'm amazed every time I use it these days! While its hydration is better than a regular toner, because my skin is so extremely dry, I still need to carefully apply essence and cream after this to avoid dryness. After about half a day, my skin returns to its dry state and the texture becomes rough again, but every time I cleanse and reapply, my skin texture improves. It's made my skincare routine enjoyable! I plan to keep using it consistently. Also, there's always a bit of foam on top! It constantly has foam on the surface as if it's been shaken vigorously.
ConsIt's an opening I haven't seen much lately! When you press down, it pops up and you can see the opening. While it's nice to see this type of lid after a long time, after pouring, a little bit tends to stick around the nozzle or drip down.

The texture is watery, somewhere between water and serum, slightly heavy but still runny. It seems excellent for hydration. I tried it hoping it might fade my freckles, and while I can't tell about that after just two weeks, I'm pleasantly surprised by how it improved my skin's deep hydration. When I apply it generously, my skin feels exceptionally moisturized the next day. The product is gentle, so I plan to use the entire bottle to see its full toning effects. What's most impressive is that despite having good ingredients, it didn't irritate my skin at all. I was initially cautious because some cosmetics make my skin react badly, but this caused no itching, stinging, breakouts, or blemishes. My skin felt very comfortable. Even with liberal use, there was no irritation, so I think even those with sensitive, blemish-prone skin can use it confidently. I haven't tried many D'Alba products, but all the ones I've used have the same signature scent, which I personally enjoy. It made using the product a pleasant experience each time. I'd like to list more advantages, but as a toner, one can't expect miraculous results. In summary, it's a very gentle product that surprised me with its strong hydrating power rather than its toning effects, leaving me very satisfied. ★ ⭐Personally, I plan to continue using this between my skin and serum steps, purchasing it with my own money in the future.⭐
ConsThis product has only one drawback: the packaging. It's too drippy. Given how watery it is, a spray bottle might have been better. It was a bit annoying to dispense it onto my hand, wipe the messy bottle, and then apply it to my face. The bottle design inevitably leads to drips, which made me think 'this packaging is flawed' throughout use. Apart from the packaging, I personally find no faults with the cosmetic product itself. Five stars. Also, for its toning function, you'll need to use it consistently. I have quite a few freckles, and I felt that two weeks as a tester wasn't enough time to see toning effects. I'm curious about what improvements might occur with continued use, so I'll try to update my review after finishing the whole bottle, if I remember.
TipJust adding this one product between your skin and serum steps will give you noticeably more supple skin the next morning....... ★

Due to my deep dryness, other mists would leave my skin feeling dry and tight after a while, but the Dalba mist consistently combated dryness. I loved it so much I went through several bottles. This toner feels just like the mist in toner form. It effectively addresses deep dryness without causing tightness or dryness. 🎀Irritation: No stinging or redness even on sensitized skin (Photo 4 shows sensitized skin after cleansing, Photo 5 shows calmed skin after applying the toner) 🎀Volume and Packaging: The volume is decent, though not oversized. Personally, I found the packaging slightly inconvenient
ConsThe packaging is more inconvenient than expected. It's easy to spill the product.

My complexion is light (around shade 19), but I have many freckles and dark spots. I've even tried laser treatments... My skin needs constant care, unfortunately. ✅ Review after use: ✔ Experience and effects: - Scent: It has d'Alba's signature aromatic citrus floral scent, which feels luxurious and gentle. - Texture: It's a flowing serum type with more viscosity than water, somewhere between a toner and a serum in consistency. It absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving it hydrated without any stickiness. - Effects: After using it for a week, I found that despite being a vitamin toner, it wasn't irritating, making it great for daily use. It has brightening effects, noticeably improving my complexion. My skin also felt more radiant and refined. ✔ Recommended skin types: I'd recommend this for oily to combination skin types looking for a fresh yet sufficiently hydrating product. It's vegan-certified and has passed low-irritation tests, so those with sensitive skin can use it with confidence too.
ConsWhile the light and fresh texture provides hydration, it might not offer enough deep moisture for dry skin types when used alone. It would be better to layer it with a cream. The packaging has a regular cap instead of a pump, which can make controlling the amount and preventing spills a bit tricky...
TipSince the d'Alba Toning Serum contains some oil, instead of using it as my first toner, I applied it after cleansing with a water-based toner for extra hydration. This helped balance the oil and moisture perfectly. Afterwards, I used a brightening serum to enhance the effects.
