ConsThere were no particular shortcomings. The capacity was just right.

ConsThe lid was inconvenient to use, and the fragrance was disappointing. Overall, it's not great value for money.

Application: The oil and moisture balance makes it glide on very smoothly, leaving a moisturized finish. Absorption: True to its 'serum toner' claim, it helped with deep dryness and kept the skin surface very hydrated. Scent: If you're a fan of the Dalba mist, this has the same fragrance. It's not overpowering, but might be hit or miss for some. Recommended skin types: Dry, combination dehydrated skin
ConsMy skin is closer to dry in winter and combination dehydrated otherwise. This toner absorbs quickly while leaving a rich finish. Interestingly, when I first tested it, changing only the toner, I got a few blemishes that disappeared after a few days. It might be too heavy for oily skin types in summer. Also, I'm not sure if it's just mine, but the cap leaked every time I used it, requiring constant cleaning. If they improve the cap, I'd consider repurchasing for seasonal changes or winter use.
TipWhen your skin feels particularly dry, you could soak cotton pads generously with the toner and use them as a quick mask.

It leaves my skin feeling hydrated, and despite having sensitive skin, it's not irritating at all. I love how gentle it is. When I apply it right after washing my face, it provides amazing hydration. The oil blend prevents moisture loss, so my skin doesn't dry out again. I'm really satisfied with that. At the same time, it's not too greasy, which is perfect. This is definitely going to be my go-to toner for the winter season!
ConsThe bottle opening is a bit too wide, so it would be nice if it were more user-friendly.

But this product doesn't give me that sensation, so I think it'll become a staple. True to its name as a Vita Serum Toner, you can feel it brightening your complexion. I was worried it might be sticky since it's not just a toner but a serum toner, but it absorbs well without any stickiness, leaving the skin hydrated. It's been really helpful for my deep dryness and small blemishes.
ConsThose with very oily skin might not appreciate this toner as it doesn't give that super clean feeling.

I've always thought of d'Alba as a brand with great hydration, so I was really curious about this product too. Absorption, texture, and how it feels: Since it's called a serum toner, I expected a thick, bouncy texture, but it was actually more fluid than I thought. It absorbed quickly without feeling too sticky after one application. I was worried it might dry out my skin, but surprisingly, it didn't! Effects: Although I haven't used it for a full two weeks yet, so I can't confirm any noticeable effects, I do feel like my skin seems a bit more plump after using it. I'll need to keep an eye on it as I continue to use the product. Recommended skin type: It seems to leave a slight glow after application, so I think it would be better suited for dry skin rather than oily skin.
ConsThe dispenser is a type I've never seen before... Sometimes too much product comes out at once, which is wasteful, and I'm worried it might be hard to get the last bits out when it's almost empty. Other than that, I found the scent wasn't bothersome to me, and it didn't cause any blemishes, so I'm satisfied overall.
TipAt night, I apply the toner in two or three layers and finish with a cream. The next morning, my skin has a slight glow. I've found it works well when used together with the d'Alba mist too!

Hydration The hydration level is as good as an ampoule! I'd say 2 out of 4 stars for this product are due to its hydrating power. The texture is thicker than water, making it far more moisturizing than a water-based toner, and it absorbs really well. 2. Packaging I haven't seen this type of packaging in ages! Compared to products with lids or droppers, this design minimizes air exposure, which should help maintain the product's freshness. The slightly squishy bottle body makes it easy to control the amount you use. 3. Brightening Function I always try to use products for as long as possible before reviewing, and it's hard to notice your skin actually 'getting whiter' with any product. While this one was no exception, I definitely felt my complexion looked clearer thanks to the hydration boost and slight brightening effect.
ConsAs expected, for me it's the fragrance... I personally don't like fragranced skincare products, so this is just my preference. While it seems to focus on functionality, perhaps with an eye on international markets, the scent is quite strong compared to other products. It has a floral citrus scent with a hint of woody notes. The fragrance itself was nice, though.
TipAfter using a water-based or exfoliating toner to prep your skin, applying this product will greatly help with deep hydration! You could probably skip the ampoule step and go straight to your moisturizer after using this.

(Slightly viscous texture) Considering it's marketed for 'brightening', the moisturizing power is even more satisfying. It seems to lock in both surface and deep hydration. For oily skin types, it might be suitable for standalone use in summer with multiple layers! - Didn't exacerbate blemishes - While it's difficult to notice significant brightening effects after just two weeks of use (possibly due to my ongoing skin issues), it definitely seems to prevent pigmentation from worsening
Cons- The signature scent present in all Dalba products... It's a citrus+floral blend that isn't unpleasant, but those who prefer fragrance-free products might want to reconsider - People sensitive to limonene and linalool (like myself) might be hesitant to use it liberally - Lacks standout effects and feels rather ordinary > Hard to pinpoint its unique selling point?
TipApply a watery first essence, then layer the Dalba serum toner on top

As you can see in the photo, I have quite a lot of blemishes, but when I applied this, I didn't feel any irritation or notice an increase in breakouts. It provides noticeable hydration. Unlike other toners that can make your skin feel drier or even seem to strip moisture, this one gave sufficient hydration even with just one layer. It's also very user-friendly. Many toners either have to be completely opened or have a cumbersome open-close mechanism, but this one opens and closes with just one click, which is super convenient. The texture is neither too watery nor as thick as a serum, which made for an interesting application experience.
ConsMay feel slightly rich for some. The finish is more on the deeply moisturizing side rather than light and fresh, so those with oily skin might find it a bit too rich.
TipCompared to typical toners, this one has a bit more weight to it, which might make it especially nice for winter use. It also creates a sort of coating effect, making it great for layering before makeup application!

I've been a huge fan of the Dalba mist, so I applied to be a Hwahae Tester and luckily got selected to try this out~ First off, the fragrance is similar to the original mist, but it's a bit more intense and aromatic~ The texture flows like water, but since it contains serum, it leaves an incredibly moisturizing finish! As for the feel, it's hydrating, and when I apply makeup afterwards, my skin feels less tight and creates a moisturized base! It's a hydrating toner, so I highly recommend it for those with dry skin or during transitional seasons before it gets too hot 😊 I occasionally get blemishes, though not too often, but I didn't experience any breakouts at all after using this!
ConsI didn't really notice any significant drawbacks~ I'm still using it, and I haven't experienced any sudden breakouts or skin irritations!
TipI recommend using it after cleansing, followed by a sheet mask or absorption mask! It absorbs well without causing any pilling under makeup!
