A friend recommended this for my blemishes, so I gave it a try. After using it, my complexion definitely improved and I noticed fewer breakouts. Even when I did get a pimple, it would calm down quickly. This is probably the best toner I've used so far. There are calendula petals inside, but when you're almost finished with the product, these petals tend to clog the opening. This makes it harder to get the toner out, so you end up shaking it vigorously and accidentally spilling some. That's a bit disappointing. It's much gentler than other toners, with no tingling sensation or alcohol smell, which I really appreciate. I think it would work well for any skin type. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 6, 2018
I was hesitant because of the high price, but after using it, I understand why it's worth it The price is just too steep, which is a real shame - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 6, 2018
I've been using this for months because it's non-irritating, alcohol-free, and great for sensitive skin! The only downsides are the somewhat high price and the flower petals, which don't add much value. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 15, 2018
It's incredibly gentle, perfect for my super sensitive skin. Although it's a bit pricey, the soothing effect is really worth it. Sometimes flower petals come out with the product, and they can occasionally clog the dispenser. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinJul 10, 2018
I tested it at the department store before buying! It had a soothing effect when I used it there. I tried it at the department store and liked it, so I opened the full-size product as soon as I got home. However, it made my skin a bit itchy. The next morning, my face was red and blotchy. I thought I might have eaten something wrong, but it persisted. When I stopped using this product, the redness and itching disappeared, so I got a refund. Those with super sensitive skin, please take note! I use other Kiehl's creams and cleansers without issues, but this one just didn't work for me! - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJul 5, 2018
As someone with sensitive skin who works near heat sources, I used to experience frequent redness. After using this toner, I've noticed a significant reduction in flare-ups. There weren't many downsides to speak of. If anything, it's just that being a gentle toner, it lacks the rich, essence-like texture some might prefer. - ha*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 3, 2018
It's gentle and great for sensitive skin. I had to return all other Kiehl's products because they didn't suit me. I can't really say there's anything particularly easy about it so far... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 23, 2018
First off, it's gentle and not irritating at all, which is great. The scent isn't overpowering either. The price is a bit disappointing. I'm not sure if the performance justifies the cost. The bits in the product feel a bit wasteful, and it's somewhat bothersome to try to use them effectively. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinFeb 25, 2018
With my combination skin, this is an excellent exfoliating toner for a thorough cleanse. It's refreshing, and I haven't found a toner that compares to this one. The price is wickedly high, so I've been searching for more affordable alternatives. However, it seems there's nothing quite like this product out there. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 12, 2017
It seemed pretty average, but at least it didn't make my blemishes worse while I was using it. It was so unremarkable that I can't really think of any specific drawbacks.
