  This cleanser is perfect for a gentle morning cleanse. It doesn't foam up at all when mixed with water, giving you a feeling similar to using a cleansing oil. When slightly diluted with water, it's versatile enough for a light morning cleanse or even removing sunscreen. You can also apply it directly to dry skin, which increases its cleansing effectiveness but might feel a bit rough and potentially irritating. Overall, while it's on the milder side in terms of cleansing power, it doesn't leave your skin feeling dry afterwards, making it an excellent choice for those with dry skin.

  Cons

  Since it doesn't foam up, you need to use a generous amount for a thorough cleanse. However, given its large size and affordable price, this isn't really an issue.

  Pros

  I bought this for its gentle feel, and I've been using it for two months now. Its makeup cleansing effectiveness is excellent (considering it doesn't foam much). It feels light on the skin and doesn't cause any deep dryness.

  Cons

  After using it for two months, I suddenly developed blemishes and my cheeks turned red. No wonder it felt painful during cleansing. I wouldn't recommend this for those with super sensitive skin. At first, it seemed to suit me well, but with continued use, my skin became weakened as if exposed to harmful substances.

  Pros

  It's light and pleasant! I use it as a body cleanser. There's hardly any scent, which is great. I started using this during early pregnancy when morning sickness made it difficult to use scented body cleansers. I'm still using it now and have even repurchased it.

  Cons

  The most disappointing aspect is that it doesn't lather well. It feels a bit inadequate for use on the face.

  Pros

  Cherry: I bought this because it's supposed to maintain skin's pH and form a protective barrier. After using it, I do feel like there's a layer on my skin. Some might feel like it doesn't rinse off completely, but it's not just in your head. Try it on your lips and you'll immediately notice that coated feeling. Cherry: It's great for a gentle cleanse. I don't feel dry after washing, and it doesn't over-cleanse, so I mainly use it for my morning routine. This is probably the product's biggest advantage - not feeling dry after cleansing. Cherry: There's a large size available. You can buy it online at a very affordable price, so keep that in mind if you plan to make this your go-to cleanser!

  Cherry: You'll need a second cleanse for makeup removal. This alone doesn't cleanse thoroughly enough. I'm quite meticulous with cleansing, but when I wipe with toner afterwards, I can still see slight residue. However, extending the cleansing time and continuously massaging seems even worse for the skin. Cherry: It doesn't lather. It's a soft gel type that doesn't foam up, so I always wondered if it was cleansing properly. The lack of lather makes you feel like you're not getting clean enough. Especially when using it as a body wash, you can't tell if it's actually washing off in the towel or if your body is getting properly cleaned. It left me feeling particularly unrefreshed when used on the body. Cherry: The ingredients... It's a Cetaphil product called 'Gentle Skin Cleanser', so I bought it thinking the ingredients would be mild. While using it, I noticed it doesn't lather and its cleansing effectiveness isn't exceptional, but I didn't realize the ingredients were problematic.

  Tip

  I don't think I'll repurchase this. While its biggest advantage is that it doesn't dry out the skin, I don't think its performance and feel outweigh the drawbacks of its ingredients.

  Pros

  First off, its low pH made it gentle on my skin. As someone with super sensitive skin, I didn't experience any deep dryness after using it. Another plus was how easily it rinsed off. Oh, and if we're talking advantages, its affordability and large size are definitely worth mentioning. I even use it as a soap substitute for my body when I'm in a pinch.

  Cons

  The cleansing effectiveness is somewhat lacking. I'm not sure how others use it, but I pumped out a full dose each time. It was fine when I wasn't wearing sunscreen, but after applying sunscreen (I used Dr. G's), one cleanse left white residue behind. I'm not sure if this particular sunscreen is just hard to remove - I haven't looked into it. If you're expecting a foamy cleanser, this isn't for you! This product doesn't lather up much at all.

  Tip

  Like with other skin emulsions and serums, always apply to your face using your middle and ring fingers. Gentlemen, if you have calluses on your fingers, avoid rubbing your face with them - it can be quite painful. I only use up to the second knuckle of my middle and ring fingers, whether I'm cleansing or applying emulsion. Since adopting this method, my blemishes have somewhat subsided.
