Without it, my eyeshadow seems to clump and doesn't apply smoothly.
ConsIt causes a bit of eye irritation, and the primer seems to pill slightly when applying.
TipRemember to tap off excess powder before applying eyeshadow!

It also removes oiliness, so cream eyeshadow doesn't crease on double eyelids. The quantity is travel-sized... I'll probably end up tossing it before using it all.
ConsTears galore? Perhaps due to the less-than-ideal ingredients, my eyes sting when I apply this alone. It makes my eyes water uncontrollably... After trying it three times, it's now sitting unused. Those with sensitive skin should avoid this. So annoying! It's a hassle to apply every time... I find myself skipping it more often than not.
TipUse only a small amount, please!

I typically just draw a small wing, but even though my eye area isn't oily, it would still smudge after a while. I decided to give this a try, and wow! It stays put without any smudging, truly living up to its claims!
ConsThe eye area hurts so much... It's painful during application, but removing it is even worse! I was worried something serious was happening. Thankfully, there were no visible symptoms like redness or swelling, but the stinging and burning sensation is intense. I've never experienced sensitivity with makeup before, so this was unexpected. I'll have to reserve this for special occasions only.

It's slightly rich but not overpowering or dizzying. The texture is a bit like a thin cream-mousse. I bought it from the Etude online store without knowing the exact size - I expected it to be a bit larger. It turned out to be on the mini side (smaller than Maycare). But thinking about it, it's actually a decent amount! Definitely not too little. * Color Payoff & Longevity As you can see in the photos, the color payoff is noticeably better when applied over an eye primer! It also adheres well to the primer, increasing its staying power. It applies evenly without clumping, which is great. Perfect for those important days! You know how eye makeup usually fades after about 5 hours? This is the product to use when you absolutely can't have your eye makeup disappearing (graduation photos, ID pictures, amusement parks, retreats, weddings, events, etc.) It seems especially suitable for hot summer days. ✏ One-line review A product for occasional use.
Cons* Eye Irritation I experienced some eye irritation. After using it about three times, it became less noticeable, but especially when first applying it, there was irritation, and it got worse the more I applied. That's why I deducted one star. * Not convenient enough for frequent use Due to the hassle, I don't find myself using it very often. It's more of an occasional use product.
TipSince the color payoff is good even with a small amount, just apply a thin layer and blend it out. Then apply eyeshadow on top for amazing color payoff.

The staying power is about average too!
ConsThere's an excessive amount of oil on the eyelids, so it doesn't last as long as expected. Sometimes it causes a tingling sensation in the eyes.

It might brighten the eye area a bit, I guess?
ConsWhen I apply this product alone, it stings my eyes. If a product causes eye irritation, it's unusable.

I liked how it seemed to maximize the color payoff of eyeshadows.
ConsWhile the ingredients were relatively better, I was still concerned about the presence of BHT and PEG. My eyes are particularly sensitive, but I trusted the product and tried it anyway. The moment I applied it to my eyelids with my finger and opened my eyes, I felt a stinging sensation and my eyes started to water. Although my skin was fine, my eyes felt so irritated and uncomfortable that I couldn't continue using it. Despite only trying it for the first time today, two days after purchasing, it went straight to the trash. This experience made me realize that I should avoid products with questionable ingredients from the start, rather than taking risks. If you have sensitive eyes like me and need to scrutinize even eyeshadow ingredients, I'd advise you to steer clear of this product.

It works hard to make the pigments pop!
ConsIt's tricky to control the amount when applying a new one. When I put it on my eyes, it caused a tingling sensation.

I've since switched to MAC Paint Pot, but... The biggest advantage is its very affordable price. At first, it makes your eyelids slightly sticky, helping eyeshadow adhere well. Later, it dries down to set the makeup. The longevity is better than wearing no primer at all. Since this was my first primer, I used it for a long time and consistently. It's a solid, reliable product. I have very oily eyelids... so even with this, my makeup would still smudge and crease, but it was definitely better than wearing nothing.
ConsFirst off, its priming function is weak. It doesn't do a great job of evening out eyelid color (in summer, it even separates slightly, with white powder clumping on the eyelids, making the color uneven). It's surprisingly oily, so for oily skin like mine, its fixing ability wasn't particularly impressive. Also, if it gets into your eyes, it causes redness, stinging, and tearing up.
TipIf price is important to you, it's not a bad option to try. I used it well when I was a student! *Personally, I've also tried Urban Decay and MAC Paint Pot primers, so feel free to read those reviews while you're here! Urban Decay applies more thinly and smoothly. It's relatively less sticky, making it good for applying sheer eyeshadow and blending. However, it couldn't completely prevent creasing on my oily eyelids (purple tube). MAC Paint Pot (Soft Ochre) has a sticky, concealer-like texture. It perfectly evens out eyelid color, and once it dries, it really doesn't budge. It's the first crease-free primer I've found, making it a holy grail for someone like me who hates touch-ups. The trade-off is that color payoff suddenly becomes more intense (personal preference) and blending can be a bit difficult if you don't carefully lay down a base shadow. And a minor drawback... sometimes in the evening, when the rest of my makeup has faded, only my eye makeup remains vibrant, which can look a bit odd!

There's a noticeable difference between using it and not using it. Though the amount looks small, it keeps coming out of the tube.
Cons1) It still smudges a bit though. 2) If not applied evenly, it can leave white marks. 3) It's not super smooth, so you need to blend it well. This might cause irritation and wrinkles around the eyes if you're not careful. 4) My eyes felt itchy (possibly due to talc allergy). 5) After using it for several days in a row, my eyes became a bit bloodshot (might be the talc).
TipI recommend trying the Innisfree eye primer instead.
