Great as a base lip color. The shade is perfect for that MLBB (My Lips But Better) look and would likely suit those with deep undertones beautifully. The application isn't particularly smooth and it tends to clump. It's a bit challenging to wear on its own. - wj******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedAug 16, 2021
The color might seem intense, but there's nothing better as a base lip product! If your lips are free of dead skin cells, it goes on with a matte, plump feel without any shine. I chose this as a base lip color to bring out an orange-apricot hue since He* Pampas alone looks pink on me. The Brilliant shade itself has an orange-apricot tone. Wearing this alone gives a MLBB look, but when paired with Pampas, it creates a luscious peach-apricot lip. I'm so glad I picked this as a base! Being matte, it does tend to accentuate any dead skin cells on your lips. (Now I'm craving some crispy seaweed snacks!) Here's a pro tip: Before bed, apply a generous amount of any lip care product you prefer - be it lip balm, lip mask, or even Vaseline. Your lips will be incredibly hydrated when you wake up! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 6, 2021
I love that effortless, natural look. It didn't make me look washed out at all. It's especially flattering for warm skin tones. It feels like it evaporates quickly. You need to keep reapplying it often. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 10, 2021
Absorbs well for a matte formula. Great as a lip base. Emphasizes dead skin cells... quite noticeably. Apart from that, it's decent enough to use. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedFeb 24, 2021
It's like a beige without any pink undertones? It's absolutely gorgeous. I tried it on by chance at Olive Young and it was perfect for me, so I bought it right away. (I'm a 21 shade summer cool tone, by the way) It's a bit matte, but that's the only thing I can say Just make sure to exfoliate your lips well and you'll be good to go - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 17, 2021
I absolutely love it! The color is so beautiful. It's even prettier than I expected, which really surprised me. The complexion match is perfect and, well... I can't think of any downsides. It's truly amazing! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 29, 2020
It seems to blend beautifully with other products, creating a lovely color. The saturation appears to be quite vibrant. It tends to accentuate dead skin cells. It can be quite challenging to use when you're dealing with significant flaking. - qu********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDec 23, 2020
The case has a unique character to it. The container feels luxurious and soft to the touch. It's far too stiff. Is this an old-school matte formula? When it's cold, it's practically impossible to apply. I bought it as a base lip product, but even that's a no-go for cool skin tones. - oh********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 9, 2020
This lipstick has a nude orange-beige shade. It's perfect for warm-toned individuals and works well when you want to emphasize bold eye makeup or create a chic, hip look. Although it's a matte lipstick, it has excellent adherence, absorbs well, and provides great color payoff. It's also long-lasting and doesn't easily come off. 3CE's packaging is clean and attractive. Since it's a nude shade, wearing it alone might make your lips look a bit pale. It tends to look better when mixed with other colors. Being a matte lipstick, it can accentuate dead skin cells on the lips. For a great color combination, try applying the Brilliant shade as a full lip first, then add an MLBB or brick-colored lipstick to the inner part of your lips. - si****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 26, 2020
When I first applied it, it went on so smoothly, which I absolutely loved. Depending on your natural lip color, it might look different, but because of my lip's natural redness, it doesn't look too orange in person. It's more of a nude reddish tint... or maybe a deep pink-beige? (Definitely not coral though) I took the attached photo without any lip balm on, so my lips look a bit dry... Also, I'm not very skilled at application, so it might not look as pretty as it could. I took the picture in a bright area and cropped just the lips, but I should mention that the area around my lips is naturally a bit darker. But trust me, this was taken in bright lighting - under my room light, actually! Oh, and even though I'm not great at applying lip products, this one was pretty easy to put on, which is a big plus! I'm not really a cosmetics expert, so I'm not sure about all the details... It's not a very expensive product anyway, so I think it was decent for the price. But as other reviews mentioned, it does tend to form little clumps, which seems unavoidable...
