Living abroad, I found this shampoo a bit pricey compared to others for its volume, so I'd stock up during sales. The biotin content made it feel like an investment in my future hair health. I've used it for quite a while and gone through several bottles. (The bottle design might differ from what's shown on Hwahae, but it seems to be the same biotin shampoo product.) My scalp is neither dry nor oily, just average. It doesn't lather as much as I expected, though it's better than Avalon in that regard. I'm not sure about the biotin benefits. The ingredient list is quite overwhelming... - at****Combination SkinRecommendedFeb 27, 2019
After using the renewed biotin shampoo and conditioner together for about five months, my hair has become thicker and healthier. The unique and pleasant fragrance makes me want to keep using it. Is it for real that the volume is only 400ml? It's such a hassle to keep replacing it so often. The conditioner is great too, so I recommend using them together. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJun 22, 2018
I absolutely loved this! First off, it has great cleansing effectiveness and leaves my hair super soft. I have a problematic scalp with scabs, oozing, blemishes, and severe dead skin cells, but I had no issues at all with this product! The scent is lovely, and the foam was incredibly soft, like ultra-fine microfiber. I bought this at Sephora, but it's not really a well-known brand. I couldn't even figure out how to pronounce the brand name. It looks like 'Jason', but with two dots above the O, so maybe it's German? 'Yason'? I usually research thoroughly before buying, but since I couldn't search properly, I wasted too much time deliberating. You don't need a separate conditioner with this! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 19, 2018
Despite many reviews mentioning a strong scent, I decided to try one bottle and found it quite pleasant. The lather was much softer and more abundant than the Dong-A Pharmaceutical shampoo I used before, making it comfortable to use. After washing, my hair didn't feel greasy, which was great. It's disappointing that the domestic price is still quite high. For now, buying in bulk through direct overseas purchases is more cost-effective. - ci******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityFeb 14, 2018
After using only mild, pH-balanced shampoos with good ingredients, I was surprised by how much this one lathers - just like regular shampoo. I personally don't like it and find it a bit scary, but I know many people value a good lather. I bought this because of the good reviews on iHerb, but I'm annoyed after checking the ingredients. I have severe allergies, so I'm relieved I didn't have an immediate allergic reaction to this shampoo. I got it as a second shampoo because using only pH-balanced ones can reduce cleansing effectiveness. While there aren't many harmful ingredients, I still feel betrayed. The blue iHerb famous biotin shampoo made my hair like straw and had no effect, so I had to throw it away. Nature's Gate Biotin was decent to use with okay ingredients. Bioga shampoo was good in terms of price and ingredients. Aromatica Rosemary was also fine, if I remember correctly. The scalp cleansing method using jojoba oil, as explained by Director Pi on YouTube and Naver blogs, definitely works. My hair barely falls out now. I've never seen such results with any other product. Worth looking into. - cc******Combination SkinRecommendedAug 1, 2017
Now it's available at several major domestic supermarkets and drugstores (like Olive Young). My scalp doesn't get oily quickly, and my hair feels soft, making it perfect for me. (Still, not recommended for oily scalps) I don't even need to use conditioner or treatment. Surprisingly, I've noticed a significant reduction in dandruff while using it. It contains 0.01% biotin. Well... it's good that they specify the concentration. It's too runny. Maybe because I have an oily scalp, it seems to lather well, but it's not rich and dissipates quickly due to its thin consistency. The lather is basically only there when you're applying it. You end up using it wastefully, so it runs out really fast. It has a strong cotton or baby powder scent. When you open the bathroom door, you can smell it! It doesn't improve scalp itchiness. The lack of a pump dispenser is always inconvenient. When not washing daily, a pre-shampoo cleanse is essential. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 30, 2017
I tried it for the first time, but I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. The ingredients don't seem to be that great... The ingredients are not so great... There are some potentially irritating components. It's supposedly popular, but those with sensitive skin should probably be careful. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 9, 2017
I bought this before seeing it on the Hwahae app and I'm currently using it. Compared to the SLS-free shampoo I was using before, this one has gentler ingredients and causes less irritation. It's as good as natural shampoos but still lathers well. I have seborrheic dermatitis so I need to use mild shampoos, and the fact that I don't feel itchy after using this product shows it's gentle and effective. However, with the recent increase in air pollution, I might need to look for something with stronger cleansing effectiveness. I'm planning to try this company's tea tree product next. This might be a matter of personal preference, but the distinctive baby powder scent could be hit or miss for some people. - ko******Dry SkinSensitive SkinMar 27, 2017
After using this, my hair felt moisturized and healthier. I also loved the scent, which includes ginseng. This shampoo isn't suitable for those with oily scalps. Rinsing seemed endless, as it was difficult to achieve that squeaky-clean feeling. Soon after shampooing, my scalp felt oily again. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 19, 2017
For dry scalps during seasonal changes, nothing beats this. I absolutely love Jason. Compared to natural shampoos like A*ron Biotin or Na***gate, it has far better ingredients, lathers well, and cleanses effectively. Best of all, it avoids the stiffness that's often a drawback of biotin shampoos. Jason leaves your hair soft! I really hope it becomes available in offline stores domestically soon. For those who say it doesn't lather well: try thoroughly wetting your hair first, work up a good lather focusing on the scalp, or use a foam net. If that doesn't work, you might want to try Ela*tin instead.
