Above all, the ingredients are pretty good.
ConsThe cooling effect is minimal. Even when mixed with cold water, it doesn't provide a strong cooling sensation. I end up putting the cold water in the freezer for about 5 minutes before using it.

It's affordable and I use it every other day without any hassle. It's actually better than sheet masks, which often leave excess product and can be messy when they stick to your hair. With this, once you peel it off, the essence is instantly absorbed! It feels like you haven't applied anything, but when you touch your skin, you can feel the deep hydration, as if your skin is filled with water. Please give it a try!
ConsThere are no downsides... really none. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy to use.
TipTry using it with your favorite essence for even better results.

I'm absolutely thrilled with the results! It keeps my skin cool and hydrated right up to the end of the treatment. I use it once a week, sometimes even twice when I'm feeling indulgent. The best part? There's so much product that I can use it generously without worrying about running out!
ConsI'll admit, I'm quite clumsy when it comes to beauty treatments. At first, I struggled to get the water-to-powder ratio right and made a few messes. There were times when I couldn't even cover my whole face before it started dripping everywhere, ruining my clothes. But practice makes perfect! After a few attempts, I've become quite the expert. Now, I even do masks with my mom and sister - it's become our little bonding ritual!
TipFor the best results, start by exfoliating to remove dead skin cells. Then, apply a generous layer of serum to your face. Follow up with the modeling mask - it helps the serum absorb even better into your skin. Remember, a thick layer of the modeling mask makes it easier to peel off, so don't be shy with the amount you use. Scoop it out generously!

While it doesn't have the same cooling sensation as Arc By, applying oil underneath before the modeling mask makes my skin incredibly hydrated.
ConsI'm not sure about any significant effects. It feels like the essence I applied beforehand absorbs better?
TipIt seems to be more hydrating when you mix the powder with essence and water before applying.

Usually, even when my skincare absorbs, I still feel a bit of residue on the surface. But after using this pack, my skin feels naturally moisturized and supple - like it's my own skin, but better! It makes me want to use even my expensive ampoules more generously. Great for calming heat, redness, and those occasional tiny bumps.
ConsThe pros definitely outweigh the cons. The only downside is that cleaning up afterwards can be a bit of a hassle.

When I first started using modeling masks, I preferred high-end products, but after trying this one, I realized they're all quite similar. This mask stays true to the basics, which I absolutely love. After all, it's all about the occlusive effect. Make sure to apply your serums and skincare products generously before using this mask. When you peel it off, everything seems to have been absorbed into the skin, leaving it looking matte, but when you touch it, your skin feels cool and deeply hydrated.
ConsThere's nothing negative to say. I'll definitely repurchase when I run out. I'm really impressed with this product!
TipFor the amount, gently scoop out a full cup of the modeling powder and carefully place it in the container. Apply it thickly for easier removal and better results. If you're not careful, the powder can get everywhere. If you have time, it's good to portion it out into a separate container. You can find various containers at stores like Daiso, from Lock & Lock to many others. Choose whatever's convenient for you. The key is getting the right consistency with water. Aim for a paste-like texture, similar to gochujang. Use slightly less than one cup of water for one cup of modeling powder, adding it gradually to achieve the right consistency. And remember, speed is crucial! Mix quickly and apply swiftly. Before applying the mask, generously layer on your favorite serums, essences, or creams. If you don't have any, use whatever skincare products you have. This will help the mask work more effectively, aiding in absorption of the products into your skin.

It's hydrating and being natural compared to other brands' modeling masks gives me peace of mind. After using it, I feel my skin becoming more firm and elastic. I haven't finished it yet, but I'll definitely repurchase when I do.
ConsThere's nothing particularly bad about it. As for the inconvenience, that's just how all modeling masks are used. To reduce powder scatter, compress the powder onto the spoon inside the packet before taking it out, and clean up any excess.
TipI use two spoonfuls. Even though I have a small face, I apply it generously, covering my mouth and eyes. Applying it thickly makes it easier to peel off. If you make it too runny, it'll apply thinly and drip, so controlling the water amount is crucial. It's easy to adjust by adding water little by little. I apply the mask in this order: cheeks, chin, mouth, forehead, nose, and eyes. Applying ample serum before the mask is a must. When applying, hold the spatula parallel to your skin surface for ease. Always clean the spatula using the packet's edge before and after application for a smoother process. When removing the mask, dampen the edges with a wet sponge or cloth for easier peeling. This also helps remove any residue.

This modeling mask truly lives up to its purpose. Despite my super sensitive skin that's prone to blemishes, I've been using this for a long time without any adverse reactions.
ConsThere weren't any real downsides. If I had to nitpick, being a powder mask, there can be some excess fallout, and if applied too thinly, it can be a bit challenging to remove.

With summer approaching, I expect my pores to enlarge and sebum production to increase, so I'll likely use this more often. I've heard that higher skin temperature can accelerate aging. Anyway, applying the mask feels cooling, and it's easy to remove once it hardens. After using it, my pores seemed tighter, and my skin felt moisturized with a fair complexion. After using it for over a month, while I can't say there were dramatic changes, my pores did appear smaller! I didn't experience any blemishes while using this mask.
ConsFirst, since it's a powder product that needs to be mixed with water, there's some excess powder that can be messy. I found it convenient to use with the rubber bowl, spatula, and transparent measuring set I bought together, but it might be inconvenient without these tools. (The residue in the rubber bowl easily washes off with water.) The mask leaves some white residue after use. The mask can get stuck in your hair.
TipIf you don't like the cooling effect, using slightly lukewarm water makes it less cold. Applying essence before the mask makes it more moisturizing. Use toner and cotton pads to remove any residue after the mask; it's difficult to remove by hand. I recommend buying the rubber bowl set. Be careful as the mask tends to get stuck in your hair easily. I recommend a ratio of 1 part powder to 0.7 parts water - if it's too thin, it will drip.

My whole face heats up if I get flustered or just a bit warm. I have combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes, with pores so large you could probably see them from a distance! But when I use this mask, even if it's temporary, it cools down my face and calms my skin, making it look brighter, clearer, and like my pores have shrunk. It's even hydrating! Although I only used it sporadically when my skin was particularly troublesome, I finished the entire 1kg. Ever since trying this mask, I've become a convert to modeling masks!
ConsIf I had to mention any downsides, it's that it's a hassle to wash off if it gets in your hair while applying. Also, mixing the powder with water can be a bit of a chore. But other than that, it's all good!
TipI find it difficult to apply with a spatula, so I use a mask brush instead! Also, if you mix it too thick, it starts to set before you finish applying. I prefer to make it a bit runnier when I use it.
