I used to buy oil directly from Morocco, but now that I can't go there, thanks to Melvita, I can continue using argan oil by purchasing it in Korea. As someone with very dry skin, this is one of the oils I use most frequently, along with jojoba oil. It's an oil that has high affinity with the skin, so it absorbs well and doesn't leave a greasy feeling. I think it provides the best hydration. The transparent bottle... This glass bottle isn't in a dropper format, so it's not very convenient to use. That's why I transfer it to a brown dropper bottle for use. Argan oil is great to use as a booster, so after cleansing, I mix it with an essence and apply it to my skin, then finish with a cream. - tl********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 21, 2021
It applies well to my feet. Unfortunately, I can't use it on my body or face. The scent is just okay, and it doesn't seem to absorb well. Whether I apply it to my face, hair, or body, it doesn't absorb. It makes my hair greasy and causes blemishes on my face. - in******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 15, 2021
I used this with the Extraordinary Oil. I had some prejudice against oils, but this one is truly amazing. It doesn't cause any blemishes and is great for eliminating dryness. Everything was great except for the steep price. It's perfect for mixing with creams. - el*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 30, 2020
Finding the right oil seems incredibly challenging. I was hesitant to use any, thinking it shouldn't be this hard, but I finally decided to try Melvita's jojoba and argan oils, purchasing them directly. I bought them along with other products because they were affordable, and I'm pleased with both. The jojoba oil is great, and so is the argan oil. First off, they didn't cause any blemishes, so I could continue using them, and their hydrating power is excellent. I had to stop using Seedtang and Now Foods jojoba oils because they caused breakouts, and camellia oil gave me pimples. Even Bobbi Brown's oil became mere decoration with more than half left. But with Melvita, for some reason, I'm using it without any issues. It's amazing how the jojoba oil seems to reduce blackheads the more I use it, while the argan oil provides deep, rich hydration. I've used about a third of it, but the downside is that if you don't use it quickly, it starts to develop a stale smell, and at that point, you're supposed to throw it away. Since I only use it in winter, I feel pressured to use it up fast. Having to use it diligently for one season, I've tried applying it on my body and hair, but the effects were best when used on my face. Everyone's method of using oils may differ, but for me, applying jojoba oil as the final step in my skincare routine worked best. For argan oil, I saw noticeable results when applied immediately after cleansing. After trying various methods - applying it last, mixing it with cream, and other experiments - I've found that the best approach is to apply it right after washing my face, after patting away some moisture. Then I proceed with the rest of my skincare. This helps combat deep dryness and reduces the number of subsequent skincare steps, making my routine lighter without the need to layer on too many products. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 21, 2020
It's perfect for these dry times - just a single drop spread over your whole face works wonders! Before bed, this one product is all you need, saving you from applying multiple items. Be careful with the amount you use, as it can make your skin look greasy if you don't control it well. - hy********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 5, 2020
Argan oil is truly a miracle worker. When applied to the skin, it banishes dryness. You can even mix it into your shampoo or hair essence for added benefits. The gentle formula is suitable for everyone, from children to the elderly. Its powerful hydration can leave a rich feel, so adjust the number of drops based on your skin type and preference. The price is quite steep. You can find organic oils for much less if you shop internationally. Given the volume, it's just too expensive to justify a repurchase. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 28, 2020
Organic and cold-pressed, with an excellent dropper design for precise application on face and body. Supports fair trade practices. The 99.9% Moroccan argan oil content is impressive, considering handpicked argan oil is a premium ingredient. Can feel rich and heavy if applied too generously. While great for a full facial massage, it doesn't specifically target excess oil or blemishes. This argan oil works hard as a versatile moisturizer, but remember that a little goes a long way for optimal absorption. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 28, 2020
It's moisturizing and gentle. As someone with extremely dry skin, I found this much better than rosehip oil. The hassle of having to order it from overseas every time is a downside. - ch****Combination SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 22, 2019
This oil has a rich texture that absorbs well into the skin. I purchased it through a buying service for around 20,000 won, and as someone with dry, atopic-prone skin, I found it perfect for winter use. The glass bottle with a pump dispenser made it convenient to apply. The packaging could be improved, and the price in Korea is quite steep, which is why I ended up buying it through a purchasing service. - ba*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 1, 2019
This is such a versatile and pleasant oil. I use it on my face, body, and hair. You can apply it morning or night without any issues. It's just so well-rounded in terms of moisturizing power, color, and absorption. There's not really anything to complain about, except that it seems a bit pricey in Korea. I'd recommend buying it from overseas if you can.
