In my 6 years of battling blemishes, I've tried every acne product under the sun. I can confidently say I've used everything people have recommended. Then I discovered this gem. Even large blemishes disappear overnight when I apply this before bed. What's truly impressive is how effectively it improves acne scars. I've never stuck with a single product for more than 6 months, but I've been all in on this one for over 4 years now. Even when I try other products due to the price, nothing compares, so I always come back to this. It's my holy grail for treating hard, painful acne, pustules, and small bumps. In my case, I get hormonal breakouts on my chin, but applying this almost daily helps prevent menstrual cycle-related blemishes and soothes both large and small bumps. While it doesn't provide instant soothing effects, after about a month of use, I noticed my complexion seemed to even out. The product absorbs well, and I appreciate that it's fragrance-free. The main drawback is the small size. You hit the bottom of the container rather quickly. And it's not exactly cheap, which is a bit disappointing.

I've switched to different brands for blemish control, only to realize the true value of this product and return to it, repeating this cycle for years. Paula's Choice is the first brand that comes to mind when dealing with breakouts. When applied before makeup, it helps control excess oil, improving makeup longevity. It's even better than most primers, so I've been using it as a primer before applying foundation. You might not notice much at first, but with consistent daily use of small amounts, you'll find yourself living worry-free from blemishes. The effects appear gradually, making you forget how powerful it really is... Thanks to its BHA content, there's no need for separate exfoliation. It can sting a bit if you have sensitive skin or active blemishes. It's not unbearably painful like some 'cursed serums', just slightly uncomfortable. While the BHA and azelaic acid definitely calm blemishes, I have thin, sensitive skin and dislike the stinging sensation, which made me want to switch products. I'm still open to trying better blemish prevention products, but nothing quite matches up to this one, so I always keep it on hand for peace of mind. The tube packaging is flimsy. This product works well for me, so I've been using it consistently. It absorbs nicely, and even though I have dry skin, I didn't feel much tightness after application. My blemishes have also significantly reduced! Since I have super sensitive skin, it occasionally caused a tingling sensation. I bought this because it was recommended for acne-prone skin. At first, it seemed to have a calming effect, but as I continued using it, I found it to be just average. I was skeptical at first, but after using this, I noticed my dark spots slightly faded. Of course, I'm using other brightening products too. I'm definitely considering repurchasing! But using this, my blemishes gradually improved and even my scars started to fade! Recently, my skin started acting up again with the change in seasons. But while I suffered for over 6 months last year, now that I know about this product, I'm bouncing back within a month of the first signs of trouble! After my skin recovered and I continued using it regularly, I noticed small bumps appearing. My cheeks were covered in acne marks like strawberry jam, but after trying this product on a friend's recommendation, I noticed the blemishes gradually fading. While I'm still using it and haven't seen any dramatic changes, there's definitely an improvement compared to before. The texture is great too - a little goes a long way! As expected, the amount seems small for the price. I was surprised by how tiny it was when I bought it! However, since you only need to use a small amount each time, it ends up lasting longer than you'd think.
