Cons- Quite expensive - Can easily look cakey and heavy, not ideal for layering - Drying, requires extra hydration for dry skin - Weak pore-covering ability - Transfers easily - Disappointing to pay $80 Canadian for a foundation containing parabens. Also packed with potentially irritating fragrances, without even a pleasant scent. Feels like paying mostly for the brand name - Giorgio Armani is not cruelty-free. It was a gift, so I'll use it up, but I'm not thrilled about it
TipI wouldn't recommend using a brightening moisturizer underneath (it can look too heavy). Instead, try a pore-filling primer. For the best coverage, use a brush rather than a sponge or your fingers, as the product can sheer out too easily otherwise.

It also has decent staying power without caking.
ConsThis product only enhances your skin when it's already in good condition. When applied thinly, it can sometimes accentuate skin imperfections. Pores become particularly noticeable without a primer. As my skin texture has deteriorated with age, I've considered whether I should apply it more thickly.

ConsI heard it was really popular, so I took the plunge and bought it... but I'm just disappointed. I think I had too high expectations. First off, it applies so thinly that it feels unusable without a primer... My pores became way too noticeable, and it didn't seem to adhere well to my skin. The coverage was also mediocre. It's moisturizing, but at the same time, there's this inexplicable matte finish that clings to the skin, making it feel more like it's sitting on top rather than looking natural...

Not greasy at all. Fades beautifully.
ConsI didn't realize it contained parabens. It accentuates dead skin cells. Might not suit dry skin types...

Even with foundation on top, my skin didn't feel dry! This product has the prettiest wear-off. I've tried many high-end foundations (Es*** Lauder, Make** Forever, YS*, Gue***in), but this one fades the most beautifully! There's a bit of darkening, but it's not severe. The texture finishes with a soft, powdery feel, but it's surprisingly less drying than you'd expect!
ConsIt does emphasize dead skin cells! Make sure to exfoliate before using! Also, the coverage is on the lighter side, so if you have a lot of blemishes, you must use a concealer or mix it with a high-coverage foundation.

It applies like silk! My face has a beautiful glow. While the coverage isn't great, it makes my skin look good. Even after hours, it doesn't settle into the eye area. I have oily skin and tend to rest my face on my hand, but even without touch-ups, only my nose shows some whiteheads up close. Overall, the tone correction effect lasts about six hours.
ConsAs time passes, it emphasizes dead skin cells I didn't even know I had. I've never seen a foundation that clumps like this in certain areas. It doesn't cover pigmented blemish marks. It's a bit drying, not as much as Estée Lauder, but just typical foundation dryness. While it doesn't settle into wrinkles, fine lines are visible up close. You'd be better off using a cheaper option with better ingredients and coverage! Fortunately, it doesn't cause pustules, but my mouth area felt a bit tingly midway (it didn't last long). It seems to bring out small bumps.
TipWhen I first applied it with a beauty blender, it looked so pretty! I applied it with my hands on the other side, but after an hour it's clumping everywhere. The clumping seems severe - don't apply it with your hands!

ConsIt accentuated dead skin cells, and even though I used the lightest shade, it turned grayish over time. On the day I used it, I noticed blemishes appearing when I washed my face, so I don't plan to purchase it.

When I patted the foundation onto my pores with my fingers, it covered them well. Although I wrote a long list of cons, this is the most natural-looking foundation I've ever used for my skin.
ConsThe coverage is weak and it emphasizes skin texture. When I first applied it, the color didn't match, and I was disappointed because the adhesion made my skin texture visible. However, yesterday when I applied sunscreen and then layered this foundation on top, the color brightened and the texture was less noticeable. Another drawback is that, perhaps because I have oily skin, after a few hours of wear, the foundation on my nose had worn off and there was some buildup around the sides of my nose.

I've been using it for over a year now - in summer, I apply it over a relatively matte sunscreen, and in winter, I mix it with oils or serums. While it's not the only product I use, it's definitely a staple in my routine. It applies thinly with excellent adherence, and when it does break down, it does so beautifully. If you apply it over a well-prepped base, it creates a natural Inner Glow and provides decent coverage. Personally, I prefer products that don't offer full coverage, so I find this perfect. For any major blemishes, I use it alongside a concealer. A flight attendant colleague strongly recommended this to me, and I'm so grateful that I still treat her to meals whenever we meet. Although she's since moved on to other products, I'm still here promoting this foundation whenever someone compliments my makeup or skin!
ConsI will say that I don't reach for it as much when my skin is feeling dry. Mixing it with other products can alter its texture, and when my skin isn't at its best, it can accentuate dead skin cells. That's why in winter, I always carry a hydrating touch-up cushion with me.
