Usually when I apply foundation, it often looks cakey, but this one doesn't cake at all. It adheres so well that it looks just like my own skin The coverage is a bit disappointing, so you definitely need to use concealer on areas that require more coverage - mu*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsJul 20, 2024
The texture is thin and applies smoothly. It looks more beautiful when applied with a brush rather than by hand. It might be better suited for people who don't typically have blemishes. While it creates a pretty skin finish, the coverage is light, so you'll need a concealer for red acne spots. It transfers quite a bit. Occasionally, it causes blemishes to appear. - se******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 13, 2024
It adheres well to the skin, has great staying power, and doesn't transfer much onto masks! It might look a bit patchy on dry skin, but should be fine with a good base routine - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 4, 2023
It can be applied in a thin layer, and its biggest advantage is the incredibly beautiful color For someone with dry skin like me, there was some pilling when I applied a thick base layer - he******Dry SkinRecommendedOct 12, 2023
Applies thinly and lasts long. No darkening effect. Has just the right amount of hydration. Works well with both mineral and chemical sunscreens. Can be easily applied with hands. Gives a luxurious glow. It tends to settle into nose pores, so I apply it carefully in small amounts. I'm not sure if it causes a slight tingling sensation or not. Shade 2 seems to clash with my skin tone (my foundation is lighter). I went back to the store to test it again, and they said shade 2 is indeed my color. It's important to choose the color carefully. The issue with it settling into nose pores is concerning. - je**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 17, 2023
I've consistently used over 5 bottles! The adherence is fantastic, and it beautifully enhances my complexion. It also wears off gracefully throughout the day. While there aren't any real drawbacks, if I had to nitpick, I'd say the coverage might be a bit light. It's perfect for those seeking a foundation that applies thinly and beautifully. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedAug 9, 2021
Personally, I find this foundation gives a more natural skin-like finish than the more famous Lasting Silk. Surprisingly, it doesn't create an overly shiny look, but instead offers a beautiful semi-matte appearance. The staying power is decent, and it wears off gracefully throughout the day. There aren't any major drawbacks, but after some time, your skin might feel a bit heavy, and some oiliness may develop, especially in the T-zone area. - yh*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 26, 2021
I don't notice any dryness, and after a while, it gives a subtle glow. It's perfect for these days when we need to wear masks. *I'm using shade 4 because shade 2 was too light. I recommend using a lighter concealer separately on areas you want to brighten. *It seems less drying than the Lasting Silk foundation (based on using a sample). The coverage isn't great. It won't hide large blemishes. The more I use it, the more blemishes I get. I apply two thin layers. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 25, 2021
It adheres naturally to the skin. Using a damp beauty blender with this foundation, I've rarely experienced any cakiness in my base makeup. To be honest, the coverage is just average. It's best not to expect much coverage from this product alone. However, if you apply concealer first and then pat this foundation on top, it does blend naturally. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 27, 2020
After trying famous foundations from brands like E and H, including Giorgio Lasting Fabric and others, here's my review. The best thing about this product is how it creates a thin, natural skin-like finish. I've always preferred lightweight foundations because I dislike the thick, cakey look that comes with high-coverage ones, even when applied thinly. This foundation truly gives that 'my skin but better' effect, which is hard to find. The longevity and resistance to breakdown seem to be benefits of its thin, adhesive application. It's also not drying - I used to use Giorgio Lasting Silk in winter when my skin got dry, but it would separate. While searching for a similar beautiful skin finish, I found that Luminous was more hydrating, perfectly addressing the shortcomings of Lasting Silk! The coverage is really lacking, but I'll address this in the tips section. Thin base - high-coverage concealer - two-go cushion (controls oil). Though my skin isn't great, I prefer a natural look. I use a hydrating, lightweight product for my base makeup, then add a high-coverage concealer. This creates the most beautiful skin finish. Trying to cover bad skin with a thick base just leads to breakdown and an obvious makeup look. It's not pretty when you can tell someone's wearing heavy makeup, right?
