Pros
I received this as a gift and tried both the pre-renewal and post-renewal versions. I felt a slight cooling sensation that seemed to lower the heat in my skin. When I soaked a cotton pad with it and applied it to my acne-prone areas, the spots appeared smaller the next day!! I've used up about two bottles and found it reasonably usable!! The photo is of the renewed bottle that I've finished using!
Cons
It's a bit too stimulating, so it sometimes stings. You have to shake it before use, which is a bit inconvenient, and there's powder/residue that settles at the bottom, which might be why it dries out my skin so quickly. And when my skin is in poor condition, it makes it feel itchy. Also, when I use it on my popped pimples, it stings quite a bit, though not as much as using tea tree oil!!
Tip
You can use it by soaking a cotton pad and applying it directly to your acne-prone areas to help calm down breakouts, as an alternative to tea tree oil!

When I was struggling with acne, I used this product, but aside from the lack of oiliness, I'm not sure about its other benefits.

1. At first, it was so irritating to use that I was worried about what it was doing to my skin. But after using it a couple times, it was fine. 2. How can it be so drying? It's a no-no during the winter.

If you haven't tried tea tree products before, they can be quite irritating at first, but in my case, I adapted to it pretty quickly and used it really well. But for real soothing, it's still lacking. When my skin is really troubled, I like to soak a cotton pad with the toner and leave it on my face like a face pack for a few minutes - that helps the soothing work even better. I actually preferred this toner over the tea tree oil.

After cleansing, there is always some dust on the cotton pads, so I felt like I had cleaned properly! And after squeezing pimples, if I soak the cotton pad in this toner and apply it to the squeezed areas, they calm down quickly.
Cons
It's very drying...a lot...haha. Even though I have oily skin, I only recommend this product for the summer.
