I like to keep this product in my bathroom and apply it right after washing my face, while my skin is still damp. This helps the product absorb better and maintain my skin's moisture levels without leaving a heavy, sticky feeling.

1. Packaging design
I'm on my 4th bottle of this product, but the consistent pump-style packaging can be frustrating when the pump malfunctions and the product doesn't dispense properly. I wish the brand offered alternative packaging options, like a squeeze tube or a jar-style toner, which might be more user-friendly.
2. Lack of absorption into cotton pads
I find that the product doesn't absorb very well into cotton pads, so it doesn't effectively cleanse or tone my skin when I use it that way. The product tends to just sit on top of the cotton rather than being properly absorbed.

I've tried many decent skincare products, but as a sensitive skin type, I usually experience irritation and flushing on my cheeks when using regular toners. However, the 3-Second Hydrating Starter has not caused any sensitivity issues for me at all!! Instead, it helps protect my skin's moisture barrier, which I really appreciate. And most importantly, it offers great value for the price!! I've been using it morning and night for over 6 months, and a small amount goes a long way in covering my entire face.

My skin is quite dry, both on the inside and outside. After applying it, the moisture quickly evaporates, and only the fragrance remains, which is probably due to the ethanol content. There's also a slight alcohol scent.
Even though my skin is already dry, this product only moisturizes for about 10 seconds.
Once it's absorbed, there's nothing left. So I have to apply it generously again and rush to my vanity to slather on other moisturizing products... ㅠㅠ And since it doesn't work well on my face, I tried it on my dry body, but the result was the same... ㅎㅎ Without applying it, my skin is still better off. The fragrance lingers for a while, but it quickly fades away, too. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
This product is useless for those with dry or extremely dry skin. ㅠㅠㅎㅎ

I used to use the Billtteng Tteng bathroom serum, and it seemed a bit expensive.
I bought the one from Holika Holika, which has a good volume and contains hyaluronic acid.

My skin gets dehydrated so quickly that it feels dry even when going from the bathroom to my room. If I apply it right after cleansing when there's still a bit of moisture left, it helps retain that moisture until I apply my other skincare products.

For those with dry skin, you may need to apply additional moisturizers alongside this product.

Even though I used to apply oil-free moisturizers, my skin would still get oily. But ever since I started using the 3-Second Hydrating Starter, my skin has become much less oily! Plus, it's left my skin feeling so moisturized. I consider this product a holy grail in my skincare routine.

There wasn't much to be disappointed about while using it. But after checking on Hwahae, I saw that there are a lot of bad ingredients, so I'm a bit disappointed. If I find an even better product, I think I'll switch to that.

Even in the summer, my skin was dry, so I started using it. I keep it in the bathroom, wash my face, wipe off the moisture, and apply it right away. Compared to not using anything, it definitely seems to increase the moisture. There are also products with vitamins and collagen, but after trying them, I found that the one with hyaluronic acid works the best. It's Holika's flagship product. It's great because the effect is good compared to the price.

The moisturizing effect was only temporary, and it actually made my skin feel drier and tighter. After checking on Hwahae, I saw that it contains a lot of bad ingredients... The overall skin feel was not good, and I definitely don't want to buy it again.

At first, it felt great to apply it right after washing my face - it was moisturizing and refreshing.
