I miss this product... It had just the right amount of white cast and caused the least blemishes. Ever since this was discontinued, I've been wandering from one sunscreen to another... Sigh, it's so exhausting. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 19, 2017
I loved how it gave my face a nice, subtle brightening effect without leaving a white cast. My dermatologist recommended it for my blemish-prone skin, saying it's gentle enough for sensitive complexions. The price point is quite steep, and unfortunately, the original version has been discontinued. It used to be 50g for $39, but now it's 40g for $29. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 27, 2016
Not greasy at all, with a matte finish and absolutely no oiliness. I started using it on my dermatologist's recommendation. Due to its matte nature, it's prone to pilling and can leave a white cast. It transfers heavily if it comes into contact with clothes or other surfaces. - ar********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinOct 5, 2016
I first discovered this sunscreen on my dermatologist's recommendation, and I've been using it consistently for about a year now. As long as you apply a good moisturizing base, there's no issue with reapplication throughout the day. It can feel a bit thick when applying. If you don't get the amount right, you might be shocked to see your face looking a different shade from your neck. For my sensitive skin, I use a gentle toner, then apply plenty of emulsion before putting on the Ceraderm sunscreen. - mj****Combination SkinAcne SkinAug 26, 2016
I started using this after my dermatologist recommended it for acne treatment, and it's been great. I've been using only this for 3 years now. The sun care is also gentle as it uses physical blocking ingredients rather than chemical ones. I used to spend over $500 a year on skincare, but now I only spend about $60 every six months on this product. When you first apply it, there's a noticeable white cast, but it soon blends in naturally. However, a slight white cast does remain. I occasionally get blemishes, but thanks to Ceraderm, it's not severe enough to require dermatologist visits anymore. After cleansing, I apply toner, then Ceraderm, and finish with a stick concealer from Estée Lauder (not the brush pen type) to lightly cover any pigmentation. This routine gives me a cleaner, more natural bare-faced look. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 8, 2016
I've been using this product recommended by my dermatologist, and it's absolutely amazing. I've been loyal to it for years now. As someone who doesn't wear much makeup, this alone brightens my skin and seems to provide coverage as it absorbs over time. Highly recommend for those with similar skin to mine. For reference, I have combination skin. If you're not careful, too much product can come out at once. It's difficult to squeeze out when there's only a little left. It can get a bit messy if you don't maintain it properly. Also, if you apply too much at once, your skin can look overly pale, so be sure to adjust the amount you use. It works well when applied over a hydrating base. To avoid pilling, pat it in gently while applying. If you use this, then concealer, and finish with a cushion foundation, you'll achieve flawless skin. Since it can significantly brighten your complexion, I recommend applying it to your neck as well. - se**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinJul 16, 2016
With proper amount control, the white cast disappears, naturally brightening your complexion and seemingly covering pores a bit. Despite its matte application, it has a nice finish. While I didn't experience any blemishes during use, the formula applies so matte that I avoid using it when my face is severely breaking out. - co******Normal SkinSensitive SkinJul 8, 2016
After applying this at the dermatologist's office, I noticed my skin looked great that day without any oiliness. I was about to buy a sunscreen anyway, so this seemed perfect and I decided to order it. What I liked: it doesn't make my skin greasy. Even though it's a cream type, it's as matte as a liquid sunscreen. I used to use Chanel SPF 50 in summer, but liquid types always felt like I was applying oil. This cream type definitely feels like it provides better sun protection. I usually don't wear makeup, just sunscreen. This one is too matte... The white cast is so severe, it turns my face completely white. The Chanel one has a slight white cast, but it's a pretty one (natural glow with a hint of tone correction). This one looks very artificial, like I've caked on flour. It makes my skin look rough and messy. However, reading reviews here, people say it only turns very white if you apply as much as other sunscreens, and to use less. But if you only apply a little, does it still provide enough sun protection?? I'll ask at the dermatologist's office how much I should apply for adequate protection. By the way, I've been using SK2's cream-type sunscreen for years, which has no white cast at all and is really good. Can't use it in summer though, as it gets too greasy. - ni*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinJul 5, 2016
As someone with sensitive combination skin - oily T-zone and dry U-zone - I'm quite picky about skincare. I bought two Ceraderm sunscreens to use seasonally. I used this one during drier seasons for extra hydration, and it worked really well for me. There's a slight feeling of heaviness. Overall, it has minimal white cast and is nice, but there's a subtle sensation of a film forming on the skin. I recommend purchasing this along with the Olga product and trying them out based on your skin condition and the season. - me*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinJun 27, 2016
First off, I bought this because the hospital said it was 'organic' and a 100% physical sunscreen without chemical preservatives. To be honest, at first I thought it was too matte and had a white cast, so I told the hospital it didn't seem to suit me. But after using it, I now find that for my oily skin with reddish undertones, this slight white cast actually helps me achieve my desired makeup tone when I apply BB cream over it. I definitely recommend it! While it doesn't cause blemishes, it's quite matte, so those with sensitive skin that easily reddens from irritation might need to develop some application techniques. My method is to dot an appropriate amount on my face, then pat it in thoroughly with my hands. I also rub my hands together to create warmth and press it into my skin.
