✅ Suitable for complexions in the 22-23 shade range ✅ Unlikely to cause blemishes ✅ Smooth finish without emphasizing texture, semi-matte with a subtle Inner Glow ❌ Limited coverage. Falls short in concealing redness or deeper imperfections ❌ Subpar adherence. Not recommended for those seeking long-lasting wear, as it tends to fade over time ❌ Not ideal for those wanting full brightening effects, as it provides a natural nude color This foundation seems to offer a natural, skin-like finish that works well for those with relatively clear skin in the medium range. While it provides a subtle glow and doesn't exacerbate skin texture, it may not be sufficient for those needing more coverage or longevity. It's best suited for those who prefer a "your skin but better" look rather than a fully polished, long-wearing base. - a0**********Combination SkinRecommendedJul 20, 2025
I accidentally bought the Light shade, but now I want to get an even brighter one! 😅 Highly recommended for those with dry skin. The shade is too dark, and it's a definite no-go for those with oily skin. When choosing a brightening moisturizer, it's important to consider your skin type and desired level of coverage. For dry skin, look for formulas that provide ample hydration while evening out your complexion. If you have oily skin, opt for lightweight, non-comedogenic options that won't clog your pores or add excess shine. Remember, finding the perfect shade may take some trial and error, but it's worth it for that flawless, natural-looking glow. - hs******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 18, 2025
The coverage is surprisingly good, much better than I expected. I highly recommend it for those with dry skin. The staying power is impressive too - I wore it at school for 6 hours without any breakdown. It even held up through a nap! There was a bit of darkening, and it didn't completely prevent settling into the creases around my nose. If you have a lot of blemishes, don't buy this without a concealer. It doesn't cover spots very well, but it does a good job hiding redness and dark circles. - lg*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 14, 2025
The coverage is on the higher side, I'd say medium to full. Usually, shade 21 is a bit too light for me, and 23 is too dark, so I use somewhere between 21 and 22. This one seems to be around shade 22, which is perfect for me. It does a good job of covering blemishes, but there was a bit of darkening over time. Since it provides good coverage, it can feel a bit thick when applied, but it's not to the point where it's overly noticeable or bothersome. This foundation seems to offer a good balance between coverage and shade match for those who find themselves between typical Korean foundation shades. It's worth noting that while it provides excellent coverage, it may not be the best choice for those who prefer a very lightweight feel on their skin. - se********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 13, 2025
A cushion foundation that's here to stay! I'm writing this review after using a total of 4 refills, so you know it's the real deal! Gentle on the skin: The reason I started using this was... I had tried various cushions like Hera and others, but they just didn't work for me. They would either look cakey or cause other issues. Then my sister recommended this product, and wow... I'm hooked! No blemishes at all! I'm so happy that it doesn't cause any rashes or bumps. It's a dream come true! Hydrating: When I apply my makeup, there's no pilling or flaking. It adheres to my face beautifully! That's a testament to how hydrating it is, right? Natural skin finish: Since I started using this product, I love how natural my face looks! It doesn't look like I'm wearing foundation or cushion at all - it blends seamlessly with my skin, which is so satisfying! And you know how makeup tends to break down after a few hours due to oil? Well, this one seems to stay put without any breakdown! Coverage: While it does provide some coverage, you'll still need to use a separate concealer for spots and acne scars. - wo********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 12, 2025
My friend loved the gift I gave her! She says it has great coverage and adheres well to the skin. The price is a bit steep, so I'll have to wait for a sale. Other than that, I recommend it. - mo*********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRednessRecommendedJul 11, 2025
I'm already on my fourth compact of this cushion foundation! It gives just the right amount of coverage for a smooth complexion without any darkening. This is truly my holy grail cushion. It can feel a tad dry in winter, but it's fine if you maintain a good skincare routine. - gq********Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedJul 9, 2025
It covers dark circles really well and doesn't break down much throughout the day! Even great for dry skin, but you'll definitely want to moisturize beforehand. The cushion is a bit firm, which might be hit or miss for some people. The formula works hard to even out your complexion while providing good coverage. It's particularly effective at concealing under-eye shadows. Despite its long-lasting power, those with dry skin should layer a hydrating moisturizer underneath for the best results. The texture of the cushion itself is firmer than some might expect, which could be a matter of personal preference. - qk*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJul 8, 2025
As someone with combination dehydrated skin that tends to get oily, this cushion is perfect for use from fall through early spring. The pore coverage is absolutely fantastic! I wouldn't recommend this as a summer cushion. Now that it's starting to get warmer, using this cushion makes my skin look patchy and emphasizes pores. If you have large pores, it settles into them so much it might trigger trypophobia. For best results, apply by gently pressing and patting the product into your skin. - ji********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessRecommendedJul 5, 2025
Purchased before turning 20 ~ November 2024 This is the Jung Saem Mool cushion I bought while trying to find the perfect one for me before turning 20! I have dry skin that gets oily around the nose. While I'm not entirely sure about my exact skin type, I highly recommend this for those with sensitive skin! The adherence is no joke, and it barely breaks down throughout the day! My main concern is getting shiny during summer, but it's manageable with some powder!
