This product has been incredibly effective for me in many ways. It's definitely reduced excess oil and blemishes, making it an absolute must-have for summer. I'm quite sensitive to pantothenic acid, so in winter I only take one or two tablets when I have skin issues. During summer, I regularly take about half a tablet daily. (I've experienced side effects like insomnia when exceeding the right dosage for me.) I've seen online that some people take four or more tablets a day, but sensitivity varies from person to person, so I'd recommend starting with a small amount. Since I started taking this product, folliculitis and inflammatory acne have noticeably disappeared. As long as I stick to the right dosage for me, it's truly a skin savior. I came across this when I was considering isotretinoin, and now I've lost count of how many bottles I've gone through! There's really nothing to complain about with this product. No downsides at all! Remember to consult with a dermatologist or healthcare professional before starting any new supplement regimen, especially if you have sensitive skin or are prone to allergic reactions. While this product has worked wonders for me, everyone's skin is unique and may respond differently. - 7p********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 25, 2025
It seems to start showing results after about 2-3 weeks. I can feel my sebum production decreasing. The medicinal scent... It has a yogurt-like smell mixed with an artificial fragrance. - vk***Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 29, 2025
Last summer was brutally hot, causing my sebum to go into overdrive and my makeup to melt off like crazy. But I've found that consistently taking these has really made a difference. Compared to prescription treatments from dermatologists, these caused no irritation or side effects. I've read reviews mentioning hair loss, but I haven't experienced anything like that. In fact, I've seen improvements in both facial and scalp oiliness, which meant less greasy hair even in the summer heat! The only downside I can think of is that the pills are a bit large, making them somewhat difficult to swallow. Other than that, no complaints! When my skin is going through a phase of excessive sebum production and breakouts, I usually take two pills. - po*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedFeb 24, 2025
I definitely notice a reduction in sebum production. After taking it for a while, my blemishes have noticeably decreased. While results may vary from person to person, I found that as my blemishes decreased, my skin became significantly drier due to the reduced oil production. Unless you have extremely oily skin, I recommend stopping use during winter and resuming when the weather warms up. - ju********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 7, 2025
As someone with extremely combination dehydrated skin, my lack of hydration led to excess sebum and oil production, causing frequent inflammatory and cystic blemishes. I used to wake up with an incredibly oily face, but after taking pantothenic acid, my skin feels less greasy in the morning! I'm thrilled that it's definitely helping prevent inflammatory blemishes. When my skin was at its worst, I took 1 tablet 3 times a day. As it started improving, I reduced it to 1-2 tablets daily. The pills themselves have a slight plastic-like scent, and they're on the larger side. This might make them difficult to swallow for those who struggle with taking tablets! Be cautious, as long-term use may potentially cause liver damage! - rh************Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 31, 2025
I think it's working quite well! I'll definitely keep using it consistently. Results may vary from person to person, but for me, I didn't notice any dramatic effects. - hk********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedJan 27, 2025
I bought this after hearing it's good for blemishes and have been taking it for about two months. The hormonal breakouts I used to get before my period aren't appearing anymore. I used to get more pustular acne rather than small bumps, but since taking this, I hardly get any pustules. The effects are so noticeable that I'm consistently taking it every day. The pills are extremely large. However, the effectiveness is so clear that even people who usually can't swallow big pills end up taking these... - lg***********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 1, 2025
I tend to have oily skin and use a lot of blotting papers, but pantothenic acid has been helpful. While it's not so dramatic that I've completely stopped using blotting papers, I'm pleased that my sebum production has noticeably decreased. The tablets are quite large, so you might feel them in your throat after swallowing. You get used to it over time. Be cautious though, as taking too many can potentially lead to hair loss symptoms for some individuals. Rather than consuming a large amount from the start, it's best to take one in the morning and one in the evening, not exceeding four tablets a day. - ho**********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 31, 2024
I started taking these supplements because I heard they help control sebum production with consistent use. After about a month of daily intake, I can definitely say that I'm experiencing fewer blemishes and seeing great results! No downsides to report, and I've seen positive effects on my acne! I'm also taking it with biotin to help prevent hair loss. - ne**Dry SkinRecommendedDec 18, 2024
My skin suddenly started breaking out with multiple blemishes, and although not frequently, I would periodically get pimples (especially painful ones on my philtrum that left scars - it was really stressful!). Due to stress, I discovered this supplement while searching for vitamins on YouTube. Since it's a vitamin, I heard that any excess amount is simply excreted through urine, so there's no worry about overdosing. Following the YouTube advice, I've been taking it religiously three times a day with meals for 4 years now. Currently, I've reduced my intake to twice a day as I'm getting fewer blemishes, but thinking back to when I used to take 3 pills a day... I truly believe this is a life-changing supplement. I'll probably keep taking it until my dying day. Even if I drink alcohol and sleep without removing my makeup, or only get less than 10 hours of sleep a week due to constant drinking, or wear makeup 24/7 - no matter what challenges life throws at me, I seriously don't get any blemishes!! I love it so much that I've been recommending it to everyone around me. Please, just try it... They say it's best to take it after meals, but I sometimes take it on an empty stomach too. There are no side effects, and since it's a supplement, not medication, I don't think there's a risk of developing tolerance(?). I started taking it to prevent skin breakouts, but it turns out it also helps with fatigue recovery!! Apparently, it's been the secret MVP in maintaining my daily condition. Maybe because the pill is elongated...? If you don't drink enough water, it feels like it gets stuck in your throat or just below. Remember to drink plenty of water when taking the supplement! I took it three times a day (morning, afternoon, evening) every day to prevent blemishes from appearing on my skin! If you're taking it for skin concerns, you can choose either to take it three times a day, every day, or four times a day, six days a week. Just stick to your chosen routine!
